“Easy access to pay and leave”
Pros
On Workday HCM I can easily access HR-related details like my vacation balance, pay statements and tax paperwork whenever I need them.
Cons
When I first started using the platform it took me a while to get comfortable navigating Workday and generating PDFs for certain documents can also be slow at times.

“save us a lot of time”
Pros
One thing I really like about Workday is how easy it makes reviewing candidates applications which saves me time and keeps the process organized.
Cons
What I like least about it is that the platform can sometimes run a bit slowly during use and that occasional lag can be frustrating.

“Single hub for professional development”
Pros
Personally I find Workday gives me a single hub for all my professional development and the tasks that are assigned to me as an employee.
Cons
It would be great if I received notifications through the app the same way I get them via email or Microsoft Teams.

“All-in-one hub for colleague details”
Pros
I am a big fan of Workday because it's essentially an all-in-one hub as I can pull up my own personal details and also look up information for colleagues. Whenever I need to confirm someone's job title or discover who their manager is, I can open the department's organizational chart and see it immediately.
Cons
At the moment I don't have any complaints or issues that come to mind.

“Brings together everything but tough start”
Pros
Workday really brings HR and finance together and after spending a little time poking around I got a decent sense of how things work there.
Cons
To be honest I struggled to get started with it as a beginner and I also noticed there isn't any easy way for me to make substantial custom changes.

“HR analytics makes decision-making easier”

“Everything together with easy navigation”
Pros
Workday stands out because it brings everything together on one platform. Also I can find nearly every tool or piece of information I need in a single place. The interface is user-friendly too and I find it really easy to navigate after logging in.
Cons
I find logging into it more difficult than with other time-tracking systems I have used as it requires noticeably more steps and effort. If it supported Face ID sign-in, it would make access much quicker and solve a lot of this hassle.

“was pretty easy to set up”
Pros
It is pretty easy to connect the system to our physical time clocks which made the setup quick and painless.
Cons
For our team employees could still see features they never used and that visibility ended up confusing them during their daily work.

Pros
It's really simple to navigate and I depend on it to stay organized with my work schedule and upcoming deadlines.
Cons
At the beginning I found it pretty challenging to get comfortable with but after spending time learning the features, I now use it every day and cannot imagine my routine without it.

“Reliable enterprise tool with poor UI”
Pros
In my experience Workday performed reliably across a very large organization for tasks such as payroll, benefits tracking and enrollment, performance evaluations and other HR needs. I think it's really geared toward very large or structurally complex enterprises and its design and overhead tend to make it impractical for smaller or mid-sized companies to fully adopt and benefit from.
Cons
the user interface is a major drawback as it's off and often difficult to navigate. There were times when I couldn't even get into the platform which caused a lot of uncertainty and frustration for me. For specific functions like performance reviews and benefits enrollment it generally does the job but as a UI it falls short compared with other HCM systems that provide a more user-friendly experience. Because usability is such a central part of any HCM solution, I really hope the developers prioritize making the interface smoother and easier to use.

“Essentials covered but extra steps”
Pros

“Helpful FAQ with payslips together”
Pros
Workday's detailed FAQ and support were really helpful. Also it was easy to navigate and included everything from employment dates to payslips all in one place.
Cons
While it does include virtually all necessary functions, I have noticed that wording mismatches. For example around paygrade names mean employers sometimes rely on outside tools or end up having to walk employees through certain items on Workday face-to-face.

“Quick tax documents after the learning curve”
Pros
I can quickly pull down tax documents and pay stubs which saves me time. Navigating performance reviews and tracking talent progress is fairly easy too once you become familiar with the software's interface. What sells it for me is how easily I can access my pay history and past performance evaluations.
Cons
I don't have a lot of complaints about it from an employee perspective. That said, I have heard that the recruiting module can be clunky and hard to navigate. Another issue I have noticed is that when I request PTO it often doesn't deduct from my available time which can be confusing. The onboarding process is essentially non-existent once you've filled in your personal details. That might be specific to my company but in my experience the onboarding feature serves almost no practical purpose.

“Easy file tracking with a handy plug-in”
Pros
Workday is pretty easy to use and I can easily track down important files like pay stubs, insurance paperwork and other related documents without digging around. Its plug-in is handy too, letting me clock in and out quickly and easily.
Cons
However I have noticed it can be slow at times when loading documents and generating reports which can be frustrating when I need information quickly.

“Clean interface saves time”
Pros
It is very user-friendly. Plus the clean interface, along with strong automation and smooth integrations makes things much simpler. The UI is also easy to navigate which saves both employees and managers time and frustration.
Cons
For me the biggest downside is how long and resource-heavy the initial setup can be. it eats up time and team bandwidth. Also although Workday is flexible, many tweaks demand technical know-how so customization isn't as user-friendly as I'd hoped.
