modern ui and versatile integrations

Pros

The interface is modern and user friendly which makes the whole platform very easy to work with. It has been a really positive experience overall and the wide range of integrations with external tools like Xemplo and ETZ adds a lot of flexibility and makes the system useful in different situations.

Cons

At the moment it still works well for us but we are getting to the stage where the platform seems a bit too basic for what we need. The cost centre and division tracking features are not very powerful, even though there is a basic option available. It also does not offer much built-in support for consolidating multiple entities.

quick cash coding win

Pros

Custom reporting is really useful and cash coding is something I absolutely enjoy using because it makes the work so fast. Customer service has also been excellent.

Cons

The only downside at the moment is that it still doesn't have payroll applications yet.

fantastic workflow automation

Pros

Xero makes accounting much simpler by automating key workflows like vendor payments, billing, invoicing and payment matching.

Cons

It looks like an excellent tool overall though it does fall short when it comes to global enterprise accounting features.

time-saving accounting automation

Pros

Xero helps cut down a lot of time by automating my accounting tasks. Being able to pay vendors in advance is another really valuable part of using it.

Cons

The mobile app works really well overall but it tends to hang whenever it's processing a large number of invoices.

Each report in Xero is explained clearly and the platform seems very simple to navigate and use.

excellent value with full features

Pros

For the price Xero seems like an excellent deal. It includes all the core functions you need or the same kinds of tools you'd expect from a more expensive comparable option like QuickBooks. It's also very easy for people to use which makes a big difference.

Cons

The reporting side could still be more user friendly and standardized especially when it comes to formats like the standard monthly P&L and balance sheet reports that QuickBooks offers.

affordable all in one accounting

Pros

Compared with other accounting platforms, the pricing is much more affordable. It's also pretty simple to use and bringing in existing data is not a problem too. Having all of our accounting information together in one place has been a big plus as well.

Cons

My experience with it has been very smooth and I haven't run into any issues.

mobile accounting anywhere

Pros

The Xero mobile app has been the biggest advantage for me because it lets me handle recurring accounting work like AP, AR and GL while I am away from my desk and connected to the internet.

Cons

I use it as an alternative to QuickBooks Online and it covers everything I need.

Amazing mobile invoicing tools

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about Xero is its very user friendly mobile app which includes all the features available in the cloud version. I mostly rely on it to draft, create, personalize and automatically send invoices to vendors.

Cons

After using it for nearly three years, I honestly haven't run into any major issues with it.

Pros

The user friendly interface and cloud-based setup are the best parts. I am able to handle my accounting from anywhere which makes it really convenient.

When you make full use of it, Xero becomes an incredibly capable business tool that brings together virtually every financial function in one place from integrated inventory systems and product costing to sales tracking and customer management.

Cons

The dashboard can feel a bit crowded at times and in some cases you have to click through several links before reaching the section you need.

HMRC VAT integration

Pros
