“powerful all in one accounting”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages has been the integration with Nookal. When that connection wasn't in place, Xero Toolbox was still helpful for uploading payments. I really appreciate how extensive the platform is, with payroll, reporting and AP/AR all available in one place. I am still discovering new ways to use it which says a lot about how much it offers. It's also very convenient that the same user profile can be used across more than one business.
Cons
Getting answers to questions hasn't always been easy and during my first few weeks using the software, reaching customer support was quite difficult.

Pros
Having everything in one place is exactly why we enjoy using Xero for our financial management. It covers all of our needs without forcing us to juggle several different tools which makes the whole process much more convenient. We use it to plan project budgets and keep a close eye on expenses so we stay within the limits we set. Sending payment invoices to clients is also quick and simple which saves us a lot of time.
Cons
I have not come across any area where it falls short. It has been excellent across the board and has consistently delivered in every way we need.

Pros
Even without any accounting background or bookkeeping training, I can use Xero without much trouble. The layout is also user friendly and the software makes the whole process seem manageable.
Cons
It doesn't fully handle local regulations and requirements, such as how withholding tax is applied in Thailand. That's not ideal although there are still a few workarounds available.

Xero has really been a lifesaver for our team and has made managing finances much more organized. It's especially useful for tracking how money moves across the organization, including overall spending which helps us stay in control and avoid overspending. The reports are clear, simple to read and give us valuable insight into our financial position. On top of that the security features have been a major advantage in keeping our financial data private and protected.
Cons
Getting started with it was very easy and the interface is clean and user friendly. We haven't run into any problems while using it.

After six years with Xero, I am comfortable navigating and using it whenever everything is working as it should.
Cons
Just read the reviews about this product's customer service. It really doesn't matter how highly the software is rated when customer support is basically nonexistent. Every negative comment you see about their support is true. We've been using it for 6.5 years and it took six years before I was finally able to message someone who seemed like an actual human. There's no phone number to call and no live chat available. You can submit a support ticket but getting a timely reply or any reply at all is hit or miss. You can also ask the community for help but there's no guarantee anyone there will respond either.

Pros
Connecting everyone with the employer was easy from the start. Adding leave is quick too and after approval, it goes straight into payroll. Payslips are simple to access too. Having all the HR features in one place without glitches, plus an easy login, has made everything very convenient.
Cons
I haven't run into any problems with it. It's done a good job of bringing together features that used to be handled manually.

Right from the start the interface has been clear and user friendly which makes the software simple to work with. I have also really enjoyed the bank reconciliation tools, along with the bank feeds and add-ons.
Cons
The inventory side could definitely be improved. It has consistently been difficult for customers to use and understand and it feels outdated compared with the rest of the software.

It is user friendly and easy to use. It comes with plenty of amazing features as well even though I personally don't end up using most of them.
Cons
The biggest frustration has been the ongoing problems with bank feeds from my HSBC Kinetic app account. It has taken countless hours to untangle duplicate bank lines and transactions and it has even cost me money because I had to get my accountants involved to investigate everything. After a full year of submitting support requests, the issue still hasn't been fixed. That's really disappointing especially for something I consider quite expensive for a small business.

Pros
After using Xero for many years, one thing that has really kept me around is the strong sense of community. I also really appreciate not constantly being pushed into upgrades or extra charges like a lot of other companies tend to do.
Cons
It would be better if I could build financial statements directly in the app. I have also noticed the web version doesn't adjust properly when the page is resized so I have to manually shrink the data because the layout isn't dynamic the way most websites are now.

From purchase orders for new hires to instant notifications for the accounting team, Xero covers pretty much everything needed to keep departments aligned. It helps make sure the right invoice is matched with the right purchase order and the employee expense tracking gives a clear high-level view of spending. It works well for both small and large companies and the features feel very effective and efficient overall.
Cons
Introducing new features into the product may not go very well if your company is constantly changing its systems or internal procedures.

Once everything is set up, using it is very easy. The reports are clean and simple to follow, invoicing works well and account reconciliation is uncomplicated.
Cons
Switching over from MYOB or any other accounting software can take a fair bit of time although that's pretty typical with this kind of system.

After looking around for an accounting platform, Xero turned out to be exactly what we had in mind for our needs. It's easy to use which makes our accounting tasks much simpler to handle. The security is also very reassuring so we don't have to stress about losing data or important information. On top of that Xero offers a wide set of features that let us manage billing, invoicing, expense tracking, financial reporting and more all in one place.

Cons

Those days of handling accounting work manually are long behind us. Using Xero, I can automate nearly the whole accounting workflow, from invoicing and billing to the general ledger and it all works together really well.
Cons

Pros
The interface is simple and user friendly and the help guides have been excellent. Since my accountant uses the same software as well, year end tasks, tax returns and all the other financial parts of the business are much more manageable. I am also able to handle a lot of it on my own which has kept my accounting costs far lower than I originally expected.
Cons
One area that still needs improvement is support because it isn't always that helpful especially with email delivery problems. Better formatting options in the invoicing section would also make a big difference, particularly so our IT emails can align more closely with our branding.
