user friendly accounting that delivers

Pros

Running the books for our practice has been surprisingly easy with this software, even though I am not a professional accountant. The layout is very user friendly, the initial setup was done quickly and the training provided was excellent. Bank feeds come in automatically and the reports are clearly named, well explained and simple to generate whenever needed.

Cons

I don't have any real complaints about it. Getting started was quick, the daily feeds work reliably without any problems and whenever I have contacted support, they've taken care of the issue the same day.

fast invoicing and payment alerts

Pros

Using this app cuts down a lot of wasted time and makes the whole process far less of a hassle. Creating invoices and bills is quick and the payment notification feature is really helpful when money comes in. I also don't need to worry about manually updating invoices after a payment because it handles that automatically and works really well.

Cons

Customer support still needs improvement. Some of the updates don't feel very useful and the email verification process could definitely be better too.

reliable reporting and simple workflow

Pros

Xero is easy to use for our whole team including people without an accounting background. The functions are simple and clear which makes our daily tasks much easier. Generating reports is very quick and the results are always accurate.

Cons

It has never let me down and I have been using it for a long time.

Pros

It comes loaded with integrations and handles just about everything a small business would need for accounting and bookkeeping.

user friendly accounting setup

Pros

Most people should be able to use it without much trouble and the layout is easy to move around in.

Cons

Getting in touch with support is almost impossible and even figuring out how to find help is frustrating. If you don't have an accounting background some of the terminology and the way certain features work can feel confusing and hard to follow.

handy integrations for payroll

Pros

The integrations work really well especially pulling timesheets in from Deputy and handling invoicing through Buildxact.

Cons

It would be even better if more information could flow back into Buildxact from this tool particularly when reconciling invoices and similar tasks.

Pros

Xero has been a good option because it's user friendly and widely used by businesses which makes it practical to work with.

Cons

The downside is that it feels a bit expensive especially for me and for people running a startup.

Pros

Getting to my payslips and downloading them was very easy. The website is also simple to access and the login process is clear and uncomplicated.

Pros

The system is easy to use which really mattered as a beginner with limited time. I was able to find what I needed quickly and use it without much hassle.

Cons

Pros

Xero is an online accounting solution that's user friendly, accessible and lets us automate processes while keeping our accounts updated in real time. So if you need an effective accounting tool, it can be a very good option.

Cons

It can be a bit difficult to learn if you don't have much accounting experience. Customer support also isn't always that good when you have questions about the accounting side of the application.

Getting up to speed with it was really easy and handling sales taxes takes very little time now.

Cons

Simple budgeting powerhouse

Pros

Running our business finances has been so much better with Xero. The software is very user friendly and easy to use which makes it an excellent fit for small businesses that don't want to get stuck dealing with overly complicated accounting tasks. Since switching to this tool, we have been able to organize our finances more efficiently and make budgeting feel much more manageable. I'd definitely recommend this excellent accounting software.

Cons

At this point I really haven't run into any downsides with this tool especially considering how many features it offers.

helpful accounting tool for learning

Pros

Works well for small and medium sized businesses and it's also a greta option for students who want hands-on experience with an accounting platform. It handles calculations and accounting information fairly accurately.

Cons

The feature set still feels a bit limited and there's definitely room for more. Debt tracking can be somewhat difficult especially without the right tools or features built in for it.

Pros

One of the best parts is how user friendly it is for my clients who don't have an accounting background. They're able to move around the system confidently and quickly find the information they need.

Cons

I do wish it had a way to consolidate companies since a few of my clients operate multiple entities.

reliable cloud accounting

Pros

Keeping our accounts organized has become much easier with Xero thanks to its cloud-based setup. We can securely store our data there, along with details for multiple bank accounts which has been a big help for us.

Cons

It's a really good accounting software overall though there are still a few additional tools that could be included.
