Pros
It is easy to use for basic billing and once you understand the essentials, it works well enough. I'd continue using it as long as the business stays on the smaller side and the scale doesn't get too large.
Cons
As the business expands though I can see it becoming difficult to manage. If you're dealing with more than 500 customers, handling everything in the tool would likely start to feel challenging.

Pros
Being able to access Xero from anywhere is a big plus since I can manage my accounts whether I am in the office, at home or out and about. It also integrates with a wide variety of business tools like POS systems, payroll software and e-commerce platforms which helps keep workflows organized and efficient. On top of that the interface is very user friendly, with a simple layout and useful features like automatic expense categorization.
Cons
Its inventory management capabilities are fairly limited when compared with software that is built specifically for inventory control. Pricing is another downside, as it tends to be more expensive than some competing alternatives.

Running the business is much more manageable with Xero thanks to its user friendly interface, smooth integration with other business tools, real-time financial tracking, automated billing, flexibility for small and medium-sized businesses and excellent customer support.

It does have some drawbacks including limited features for larger businesses, extra costs to unlock advanced functionality

Generating financial reports such as P&Ls and balance sheets is much more organized with Xero. The platform is user friendly and it also offers a broad selection of reports that can be downloaded whenever needed.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is the workflow in Projects. When a quote or invoice is created, it would be better if the number were automatically added to the name and it would be far more convenient if quotes and invoices could be linked to projects right away instead of requiring manual steps.

Having accounting software in the cloud makes a big difference because I can log in from anywhere as long as I have internet. The interface is user friendly so getting around the system is not a hassle. Plus it covers a lot of what I need, including bank reconciliation, invoicing, budgeting and reporting which makes day to day financial management much more convenient. I also like how well it integrates with different third-party apps since that lets me keep everything organized in one place. On top of that the customer support is amazing and the tutorials and FAQs are genuinely helpful when questions come up.
Cons
The pricing can get expensive depending on which plan you need. It also may not be the best fit for businesses that need more advanced or complex accounting capabilities. At times the platform can feel a bit slow especially when moving between tasks and that lag can be frustrating. The mobile app is useful but it does not include as many features as the desktop version.

One thing that really stands out with Xero is how many reporting tools and report customization options it gives you. The mobile app is also very useful so I can keep up with things when I am away from my desk. Another big plus is the huge app ecosystem since it supports well over a thousand integrations. There's no free plan but for cloud-based accounting software, it's still one of the more affordable options available.
Cons
A downside is that it doesn't offer a customer support phone number and there's no live chat support either.

This software was very user friendly. Even without any accounting experience, I was able to understand how it works and navigate through it without much trouble.
Cons
A few functions feel like they're missing such as being unable to change the bank account linked to an invoice after it's already been created. The reconciliation process also seems less user friendly once it's connected to a bank account since every single transaction has to be reconciled individually which takes more effort than grouping receivables together.
