Pros
Xero is very easy to use. I had to teach myself how to enter expenses and attach receipts and it was simple to pick up. The built-in tutorials are helpful too.
Cons
One small annoyance is that after editing an entry and returning to the Suppliers list, it takes you back to the very top of the list again.

Pros
Running accounting for a small business with Xero has been really practical. It works very well for that purpose and I know it includes plenty of other features too, even though I haven't had the chance to explore them yet.
Cons
At this point, I honestly haven't come across anything negative about it.

“powerful bookkeeping automation”
Pros
this tool handles both everyday bookkeeping and more complex accounting work really well and it gives plenty of flexibility when managing accounts receivable and payable. It comes with a wide range of tools and supports direct payments through multiple international gateways. One thing I really appreciate is how it replaces manual work with automation, like letting me set payment priorities and automatically calculating the tax due on my invoices.
Cons
There are only a few issues on my side. Such as it integrates well and works with a lot of other apps but every now and then it doesn't automatically pay dues on the date I have scheduled. When that happens, I have to go back and handle it the old-fashioned way which is frustrating.

With this software everything seems well organized and it helps me track debtors as things progress. It also allows me to register a large number of users which is really useful. Overall it's a very advanced accounting tool.
Cons

“Pretty easy to work with”
Pros
The layout in Xero is clean and simple so it seems easy to work with. It also integrates really well with my accountant which means I don't have to deal with messy spreadsheets anymore. Being able to check tax reports and balance sheets at a glance all year round has been genuinely useful. The expenses app is probably my favorite part as you can just snap a photo of a receipt on your phone and it automatically records the expense for you.
Cons
Pricing is where it falls behind for me because it's quite expensive compared with other cloud accounting options. These days, a lot of business banking apps already include basic bookkeeping and expense tracking features. On top of that you can get FreeAgent which is also a very good accounting platform for free when opening a business account with NatWest or Royal Bank of Scotland. Because of that, I wouldn't really see it as the best option anymore for small businesses or sole traders trying to keep costs down.

Xero is a really amazing online accounting platform. It helps me keep up with income and expenses without hassle and bank reconciliation is easy too.
Cons
The only piece I still miss is a direct integration with my CRM which would let me manage client activity more closely.

Using Xero has been an excellent experience overall. The interface feels user friendly and the software has helped me manage my finances much more efficiently. I can now keep track of transactions without hassle, get accurate financial statements and create detailed reports whenever I need them.
Cons
It can get pretty expensive depending on the subscription plan you need. The features and services do make the price understandable but it still feels like the pricing could use some adjustments to make the software more cost-effective.

It is pretty easy to use and the pricing is reasonable. The interface is clean and gives good visibility into your financial position. Live bank feeds and bank reconciliation are useful and putting together purchase orders, quotes, sales orders and similar documents is relatively simple.
Cons
There are clear limits on how many transactions the system can handle at one time. It also doesn't include payroll functionality. The reports are quite basic rather than detailed and they cannot really be customized to fit specific needs. Performance also drops when transaction volumes increase and only a limited number of transactions can be pulled at once which becomes very frustrating when you need to work through thousands of entries. On top of that customer support hasn't been very helpful.

Right from the start this program felt very smart, practical and genuinely useful. It helped me a lot with setting up the organization's chart of accounts and defining it in a much better and more organized way. On top of that the pricing was very reasonable compared with other software options.
Cons
There are still a few issues with the program especially the lack of regular updates. I also ran into some difficulties when trying to record daily entries manually.

Pros
Xero has been a fantastic program to use. It automatically pulls in transactions from bank accounts without needing any manual effort. It covers all of my financial accounting needs and being able to check performance reports whenever I want feels like a huge advantage compared to how things were done before.
Cons
Getting existing assets entered into the system from the period before the accounting was automated is a bit challenging. Part of that may be user error on my side but I still think the process could be designed in a more user friendly way.

Having everything in one place is what makes Xero stand out for me as an accounting solution. It brings together billing, invoicing, expense tracking, inventory, bookkeeping and financial reporting in a single platform so there is no need to juggle multiple products. The analytics are especially powerful and give clear visibility into cash flow, key metrics and the overall financial health of the organization. It also offers a quick and simple way to track and pay bills while giving a very clear picture of accounts payable. The bank connection feature is another big advantage because it helps speed up transactions. On top of that its security features are very reliable and do a strong job of keeping data protected from breaches.
Cons
Honestly I have not come across any feature that has been difficult to use. I also have not run into anything in the platform that feels ineffective.
