Pros
The software is fairly easy to use and the layout makes it simple to find what I need without much effort.
Cons
Support has been the hardest part. A live chat option would make a big difference. When something goes wrong, I am stuck either digging through help articles that usually don't address the specifics of my issue or sending an email to support and just hoping I hear back the same day.

Pros
It is easy to use and the platform doesn't seem complicated at all. Anyone on the team can jump in and handle invoicing and billing without much of a learning curve.
Cons
Where it falls short is in its native integrations with other software. It could really use broader built-in functionality since having more features available natively would make things much more convenient.

The tool decent only on the rare occasions when it actually functions. Most of the time, that hasn't been my reality. My bank feeds have been inaccurate since May which means I have been dealing with five straight months of wrong transactions and failed reconciliations.
Cons
This platform might be useful if it actually worked consistently but it doesn't. I have spent five months without accurate transactions or reliable reports. It keeps pointing to Yodlee as the reason, yet they never give any real indication that they've seriously pushed for a fix. I have even heard from staff that the company doesn't really care about small businesses and honestly that matches exactly what I have seen. I wouldn't recommend this software or this company to anyone. Customer support is basically nonexistent. There may be people assigned to help but when even they make it sound like the company doesn't care, there's really nowhere left to turn. They claim to support small businesses but everything about my experience suggests the complete opposite.

Pros
Its layout is really well organized and user friendly so everything seems clear right away. Switching between different companies or clients is very easy too which makes day to day use fast and convenient. Billing and invoicing are also handled quickly and the option to import invoices for future reference is very useful.
Cons
There are times when the site has downtime if the website is experiencing issues. Getting support from customer service can also be a bit slow.

Pros
Being cloud-based is a big plus since everything is online and there's no need to migrate data from one place to another.
Cons
The invoicing setup feels too focused on using products which gets frustrating when I just need to type in a simple amount for a small customer-requested change and bill a little extra. Exchange rates also move around so my product pricing changes from month to month and the system doesn't really handle that well. Another issue was not being able to set things up so both my assistant and I, while working from different countries, could be properly authenticated.

Using this software for tax reports has been a really positive experience. The layout is user friendly and everything seems easy to follow which makes the whole process much simpler.
Cons

Pros
Bank statement processing is much faster which saves a lot of time. The VAT 201 reports also handle late-captured invoices well because they are clearly reflected in the report so there's no need to do a manual VAT reconciliation. Another big plus is having multiple users with different roles and functions. I can log in and work anytime, from anywhere, without needing to be at the office.
Cons
Earlier on, the supplier ledger was difficult to reconcile against supplier statements but it has improved that area with software updates. At this point, I am really happy with it overall.

Pros
Using Xero has been a really positive experience for us especially because the system is simple to work with. Since it's cloud-based, we can access it anytime and from anywhere which adds a lot of flexibility and convenience. The mobile app is also very useful for checking invoices and payments while on the go. Pricing is quite reasonable compared with other competing products. We mainly use it for invoicing and payroll and up to this point we haven't run into any technical or operational problems. The API integration is another big advantage since it integrates with almost any third-party platform, including Google services. On top of that customizing financial reports in it has been easy too.
Cons
One thing that would make it better is having more tutorials available. It can be a bit challenging for users who only have limited accounting or finance knowledge so additional learning resources would help a lot. Customer support is good overall but there is still some room for improvement.

Pros
After working at an accounting firm for the past three years and using several different accounting programs, Xero has become my favorite by far. The navigation is very user friendly and it makes handling every part of the accounting process much more convenient.
Cons
Overall I am happy with this tool in just about every way but it does occasionally go down because of server issues.

One thing that really stands out is the customer support. Even as a small business, we get quick replies from knowledgeable people who are genuinely helpful. The system itself is very simple to use and offers strong functionality for handling both sales and supplier invoices which helps us monitor cash flow accurately. The app library is also very complete and includes everything we need.
Cons
Some automation and AI features are missing in the core system although those gaps can be covered by connecting third-party apps.

Creating bills and invoices, reconciling transactions and handling VAT returns all work really well. The platform is also very user friendly and simple to navigate overall.
Cons
It would be helpful to have a bit more support during the initial setup. Push notifications on desktop or mobile for overdue items would also be a useful addition. More support videos covering different or newer parts of the system would make it easier to keep learning the platform.
