“Best choice for data visualization”
Pros
Across different projects in our company, it has been a huge support. We've depended on it heavily for visualizing data, building dashboards and presenting information in a clear and effective way.
Cons
One of the few drawbacks is that uploading data can feel a little complicated at times but our specialized BI team is always there to help us through it.

“highly customizable”
Pros
It does an excellent job of bringing together data from different sources and gives you plenty of ways to manipulate it or turn it into useful visualizations.
Cons
Has a learning curve and you really need some training to get the most out of it. Once a colleague set up a report for me, I was able to work with the visuals, make updates and refresh the data whenever needed.

Using dashboards and reports shared by other users is really useful and adds a lot of value.

There isn't any real downside, aside from needing to have the right Microsoft license.

“impactful visuals”
Pros
Compared with a lot of other reporting tools I've used, it really stands out for combining powerful analytics from multiple data sources with visually appealing dashboard and chart components.
Cons
It works really well for simpler reports and visualizations but it isn't built for heavy data processing since that depends a lot on the underlying data source. There's also a pretty steep learning curve when you want everything to look exactly the way you pictured it.

“Amazing integration with SharePoint”
Pros
Having it built right into SharePoint lists was a big plus for me. It let me put together dashboards and visuals quickly without jumping between separate tools since I could handle everything in the same browser window.
Cons
Getting started with the licensing and sharing side was confusing and a bit frustrating at first although I understand that every product needs a way to make money. You can't really expect everything to be free.

“quick and easy insights”
Pros
Fairly simple to work with and end users really seem to prefer it over traditional reports. It's also very useful for delivering quick information that helps people make better decisions.
Cons
From a developer's perspective, the interface does have a few weak spots and could be designed better. That said, it's not a deal breaker.

“Amazing export integrations”
Pros
Really useful overall and once you get familiar with how it works, it becomes pretty easy to understand. It also makes exporting information fairly simple.
Cons
There's definitely a learning curve at the beginning and it can take some time to get comfortable using it. The interface is also a bit hard to get used to so the overall user experience could use some improvement. It still comes across like a product Microsoft is actively developing so I'm interested to see how it gets better over time.

“powerful reporting”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits is how user friendly it is which makes it possible to learn data analysis on your own without feeling overwhelmed. It also gives you the ability to build reports from the data the software collects and processes.
Cons
Free version is definitely useful but the paid plans feel a bit expensive compared with other similar options. On the data analysis side, the hardware requirements depend a lot on the amount of data you plan to handle. If you need to work with large datasets, you'll need a processor that matches that workload, otherwise the performance won't be good enough.

Pros
Using it at work has helped me analyze a large amount of information and that has made decision-making much easier within the company.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't come across many downsides. The only thing I'd point out is that the tutorials could be improved for people who don't have much experience with such a platform.

“efficient dashboards across devices”
Pros
Getting started with it is pretty simple even for someone using it for the first time. It has strong data visualization tools and solid dashboard-building features and I really appreciate that the dashboards can be accessed online from both desktop and mobile devices. It also fits in nicely with the rest of the Microsoft product suite which makes it even more convenient to use.
Cons
One thing I've noticed is that it can be a little slow to load when it's embedded into a live PowerPoint deck. It also tends to ask for log-ins quite often once everything is set up which can get a bit annoying.

“Had a great experience!”
Pros
It gives us access to the critical metrics we need to make better business decisions. It connects with a wide range of platforms which makes it possible to pull in raw data from different sources. On top of that it can be set up into dashboard views that make visual analysis much more practical and useful.
Cons
Setting it up does take an experienced technical team to handle the connections properly. It's not really something you can treat as a do it yourself setup.

“clear insights”
Pros
It gives us dashboards for pretty much anything we need and once they're set up, they're very easy to use and provide an excellent overall view of the data.
