“Centralized solution”

Pros

Having everything in one place has been a huge advantage. Accurately tracking and measuring the important data across our team is essential for our company and this lets us handle that without any hassle.

Cons

There was a slight learning curve during the first few days but once I got past that, everything worked well and I really haven't had any issues since.

“Advanced analytics and interactive dashboards”

Pros

It gives us very advanced analytics capabilities so we can work through all our business data and pull out meaningful insights. The dashboards come with interactive visualizations, including graphs which make the insights much easier to understand and present. It also provides a wide range of secure data connectors, allowing us to gather business data safely from all our different sources for deeper analysis.

Cons

We haven't come across any drawbacks with it and honestly haven't faced any challenges at all while using it.

“Polished reports”

Pros

The range of visualization options makes reports and dashboards look polished, engaging and highly customizable. It connects reliably to all kinds of data sources, whether that's Excel, databases or cloud services and the setup feels simple. Sharing reports and collaborating with others is also hassle-free, with convenient access through both the desktop app and a web browser.

Cons

Getting into specialized formulas and calculations like DAX takes additional time and can be tough if you're not already familiar with that kind of logic. When dealing with very large datasets, performance can slow down and load times may stretch out. On top of that, adjusting and fine-tuning custom visuals can sometimes feel a bit complex.

“Well-organized interface”

Pros

The interface feels well-structured and highly customizable and it comes across as more fluid than other tools like Tableau or Qlik. With its drag-and-drop features, building interactive dashboards is approachable even for beginners.

Cons

One thing I haven't fully liked is the performance with very large amounts of data. When working with massive datasets containing millions of rows, Power BI can start to slow down especially if you use import mode instead of Direct Query or Live Connection.

“Valuable insights for call centers”

Pros

It packs a lot of useful functionality. When it's set up properly, it can deliver a ton of valuable insight for businesses especially with call center data. It lets you drill into specific data points and filter out anything that isn't relevant to what you need. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to export selected information into other formats, including Excel.

Cons

visual design comes across as somewhat outdated. There are also times when data pulls get delayed, usually when the system is dealing with too much data at once.

“Automatic refresh saves time”

Pros

Putting together charts is very simple, dragging fields into place feels natural, filters click in right away and sharing dashboards works well. The automatic refresh saves a lot of time, reports have a polished look and exports come out clean and usable.

Cons

When working with large datasets, loading can get slow and setting up custom calculations is still a bit complicated. On mobile, the missing zoom markers are noticeable and some formatting can be lost during export.

“Userfriendly tool”

Pros

Found it quite userfriendly, the visuals look excellent and it works really well with Microsoft tools and connected data sources. I absolutely love using it.

Cons

Formatting still feels a bit restrictive in places and performance can slow down with larger datasets or more complex models. Load times with large models are definitely not ideal.

“Lets me share interactive reports with the team”

Pros

The rich visualizations are a big highlight and connecting data from different sources is simple. Sharing interactive reports with the team also works really well and makes collaboration much better.

Cons

A few of the more advanced capabilities are only available with Pro or Premium and getting comfortable with DAX formulas can take some time.

“Awesome insights and secure reporting”

Pros

It gives us access to advanced analytics that helps uncover highly valuable insights from our data. Its reporting tools are efficient and make it simple to document findings through clear, easy-to-understand reports that are effective for presentations. It also comes with strong data protection features so we can work with our data confidently without exposing it to security risks.The interface feels logical which makes the data analysis process much more manageable.

Cons

It has consistently performed at a level that meets our expectations. Up to this point, we have not come across any features that fail to support our needs. At the moment, there is really nothing to complain about.

“Everything in one place”

Pros

Having everything in one place makes a big difference. This program lets us track all of our projected timelines and see exactly who each task is assigned to. It's also editable and flexible enough to be customized around the way our team works.

Cons

The biggest downside is how resource-intensive it is. It can push my computer so hard that it shuts down which is partly because of my processor and I also can't keep too many Teams apps running at the same time.

“Easy to create reports”

Pros

it feels very simple and building reports is about as easy as it gets while still looking polished and professional. Storage and accessibility are also very convenient since you can reach it from any Microsoft app.

Cons

Setting up the browser to display the data I needed was a bit confusing at the beginning. Once I adjusted the cookie settings, though, it started working perfectly.

“Incredible for real-time data”

Pros

It's really excellent for viewing real-time data. Filtering by date, month, quarter or year is simple and the data updates instantly whenever needed.

Cons

At times, the platform can feel a bit confusing when trying to locate certain features but once you figure out where things are, you can save them as favorites for quicker access later.

“Creating charts made simple”

Pros

This tool made it much easier for me to create charts from Excel tables just by importing a file.

Cons

Getting to the point of building really good charts is a bit hard at first. You need solid training to learn how to use it well.

“Packed with tools”

Pros

There are so many different ways to present data with all the tools packed into this platform which makes reporting feel much more flexible. It also lets you manipulate data without much hassle so putting together useful insights is very convenient.

Cons

Unlike Excel which I was able to pick up on my own, this one required some extra help before I really understood all the details and how everything works.

“Fast and accurate”

Pros

Quick reporting and solid accuracy are the biggest benefits. We can pull sales and revenue numbers down to the very second which is incredibly helpful. Our sales team really enjoys being able to see exactly where they stand individually and how the store is performing overall in total sales.

Cons

There have been a few hiccups when trying to connect it with our OptiSigns although that seems more related to user error on our side than a problem with the software itself.

“Allows companies to build detailed data models”

Pros

It gives companies the ability to build highly detailed data models and reports tailored to just about any business requirement.

Cons

Honestly, I really enjoy using Power BI because it gives me the freedom to be creative and put together the audits and reports my business needs.

“Handy dashboards”

Pros

The dashboards are really useful for visualizing data and drilling down with filters. It feels like a big step up from constantly exporting into Excel and rebuilding pivot tables every time you need to analyze or manipulate information.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve at the beginning. Taking a couple of training courses made a difference but it really helps when you have a solid real-world use case and actual data to work with while building reports.

“Several ways to analyze complex datasets”

Pros

One thing that really helped was the data modeling. It let me connect multiple data sources and create relationships between tables which gave me several different ways to analyze and view complex datasets.

Cons

Refreshing large datasets can be a bit slow. During critical decision-making moments, that delay sometimes impacts how quickly reports get updated.

“Outstanding integration with Azure”

Pros

Using it, I could build rich, interactive reports that gave my team a clear view of the key metrics that matter. Its integration with Azure and other Microsoft tools also strengthened our data analysis workflow.

Cons

delayed refresh cycles can lead to outdated insights which gets in the way of making timely decisions.

“Full-featured program”

Pros

It's a full-featured analytics platform that lets me build dashboards and connect with Salesforce without much trouble. The data capabilities are extensive and it covers a lot of what I need in one place.

Cons

The visuals could be much better. The interface feels a bit outdated and that older look can make it harder to keep some users interested in using the product.
