Quick reporting and solid accuracy are the biggest benefits. We can pull sales and revenue numbers down to the very second which is incredibly helpful. Our sales team really enjoys being able to see exactly where they stand individually and how the store is performing overall in total sales.

Cons

There have been a few hiccups when trying to connect it with our OptiSigns although that seems more related to user error on our side than a problem with the software itself.

There is definitely a learning curve at the beginning. Taking a couple of training courses made a difference but it really helps when you have a solid real-world use case and actual data to work with while building reports.

The visuals could be much better. The interface feels a bit outdated and that older look can make it harder to keep some users interested in using the product.

With just a click, we were able to view our data in real time and it was also flexible enough to manipulate the information however we needed.

Getting proper training was a challenge so it often felt like we had to figure out the software ourselves and learn how to make it work correctly without much support.

There honestly wasn't much to complain about. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the visual design could look a bit more modern and visually appealing.

Using the drag-and-drop designer, I can put together attractive graphs in just a few minutes. Being able to combine its built-in visuals with Python or R also makes storytelling much better and helps tailor the dashboards to what different stakeholders need.

There have been times when reports didn't refresh overnight so I ended up having to trigger the dataflows manually.

A few chart types don't look quite right unless you spend a lot of time adjusting them. The formatting process can be slow especially when you need something ready to go without much setup.

There's a lot this platform can do and that's probably the part I appreciate most. My company uses it really well to pull together internal data and it makes getting the information I need much more manageable. In just a few steps, I can create spreadsheets with the exact data I'm looking for which helps me stay on top of my daily work efficiently.

Cons

Because it can be customized to handle such a large amount of information, processing can occasionally be slower than expected. For instance, when I need to run a report across 15 different entities with a high volume of data, I usually have to generate smaller reports for each one and combine them afterward instead of pulling everything into one report at the same time. It does add extra steps but even with that, it's still a very valuable tool to have.

It works smoothly with the rest of the Microsoft apps I already use but it's definitely not limited to the Microsoft ecosystem. There's also a pretty extensive library of prebuilt connectors available which makes it flexible for connecting to all kinds of other tools.

Most users usually need a Pro license to use it, including end users who are only viewing a dashboard or report that someone else created.

Great how user-friendly it feels while still offering strong business analytics capabilities. It keeps getting better over time and the way it connects with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem adds a lot of value.

Cons

The DAX language can still be challenging to work with. There are also some limitations with certain visuals that are not fully editable and published reports do not always pick up backend Power BI Desktop changes automatically unless they are republished.
