“smooth dashboards”

Pros

It has turned out to be an incredibly flexible tool for dashboards and reporting. It's also very simple to use.

Cons

One thing we still haven't been able to match is a specific Excel setup with a live-updating spreadsheet and linked graphs. We're still trying to figure out a workaround for that use case.

Pros

Honestly, there is not much to praise here. The only meaningful upside is the integration with Teams and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Cons

The dashboard visuals feel limited, the platform is complicated to work with and importing external data has been buggy and unreliable.

Pros

Sharing dashboards and reports is handled really well and it gives a lot of control over how everything is distributed.

Cons

Learning it on your own can be challenging unless you pick things up very quickly.

“Excel and sharepoint connection”

Pros

Being part of the Microsoft ecosystem is a big plus especially with the addition of Services and Automate. It connects really well with other Microsoft tools like Excel and SharePoint which makes everything feel more connected and useful.

Cons

The part I'm not keen on is that you need a work or school email to access the services side of the product. That makes online personal use pretty limiting unless someone sticks to the desktop version instead.

it connects effortlessly to a wide range of data sources. It gives us everything we need to analyze, transform and visualize data and building interactive dashboards is a big plus. The integration with the Microsoft ecosystem also fits in very naturally.

Cons

Advanced data modeling can get quite complicated so the learning curve is definitely longer in that area. Other than that, everything else has been fine.

Pros

It helps me link our different data sources together, create charts on a single dashboard and embed viewers without much trouble.

Cons

The part I struggled with most was getting started. On my first use, it took a lot of effort to figure out how the display options worked, along with sharing and access control settings.

Changing settings is simple and there's a wide range of options available to customize things the way I need.

Cons

There are still a few settings I wish could be integrated but they aren't available yet.

Version control isn't handled very well and it takes a bit of time to figure out.

Its data visualization capabilities especially charts and graphs, do an excellent job of presenting insights clearly. On top of that, the strong security and data protection features give us confidence that our business information stays safe.

Honestly, we haven't come across anything to dislike. Everything about it works well for us and matches our needs perfectly.

If you're just getting started, the complex structure can make the learning process and navigation feel a bit slow.

Creating workspaces, datasets and reports in it feels very simple. The drag-and-drop functionality works really well and it's a powerful platform that can handle large volumes of data without much trouble.

Cons

The dashboard design and the overall look and feel could be improved. Compared with something like Salesforce, the interface doesn't feel as polished or visually appealing.

Compared with the software we used before, this one comes with a lot more functions and gives us access to tools we didn't have previously.

It does have a few limitations when handling left and right joins.

Building effective business reports and analysis with this product has been really valuable and one of the best parts is its ability to bring in data from different apps and websites through its unique import features.

Honestly, it's a really excellent app and there isn't anything I dislike about it.

There's a solid range of built-in reports and drill-down options which makes certain tasks really simple and quick to handle.

Cons

gap between the desktop app and the online version is annoying. You can't realistically stick to just one because both are required and keeping track of where the latest edit lives becomes a hassle. That's easily the biggest issue. On top of that some basic actions, like searching a table, feel awkward and clunky and there isn't a good out-of-the-box solution for them.

The visualization features are excellent and it connects with nearly any type of data source you need to work with.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming if you're new to the platform.

One of the biggest advantages is being able to share dashboards with thousands of employees while keeping the underlying raw data untouched and protected.

Cons

It takes some time to get used to it unless you take a course or go through some formal training first.

The visualizations are really solid and make complex data much easier to understand and work through.

level of interactivity available inside the charts is limited. I've used other analytics platforms that offer more advanced capabilities in that area.

It can generate dashboards quickly with very little effort. Being able to just describe what I need and have it build a report automatically is really useful.

Cons

Can be complex at the start. A lot of the features are not very user-friendly to find and the UI could be much better since it is hard to spot things in the sidebar.

Being able to connect with so many different databases has been a huge advantage for the way I work.

Cons

At times, the desktop app doesn't load projects properly which makes it difficult to get work done.

As long as the data is available, you can build just about any type of report you need with it.

Getting started can be tough and it feels pretty overwhelming when you do not have any guidance or resources to rely on.
