Pros
They provide their own online translation tools while still not allowing machine translation which helps keep the work quality high. The team is quick to answer questions whenever something comes up. I can track payments until they arrive and they have always been on time. Another thing I appreciate is that every completed job is reviewed by a second translator.
Cons
A frustrating part is that job offers often expire almost as soon as they come in.

Pros
AI keeps learning from the way I translate. Instead of giving the same generic suggestions over and over, it starts adjusting to my style which helps me work faster and makes the whole process feel more natural. The interface is clean and simple to navigate and it fits into my workflow without getting in the way. payments have always been on time for me which is something every freelancer truly values.
Cons
Now and then, the platform does lag especially when Im working with larger files and that can be frustrating when a deadline is tight. I also wish it offered more glossary management options because there are times when I need better control over terminology to match a client's specific preferences.

Pros
ENG-CZ language combination works really well here and it offers good opportunities for cooperation.
Cons
Applying for new projects is almost impossible because they get taken immediately. most projects are posted during night hours in CET which makes it even harder to catch them in time.

“Layout and shortcuts makes things easy”
Pros
Its visual layout works really well especially the sidebar when searching Concordance and TM matches. The keyboard shortcuts are also very useful and having suggested TM matches appear underneath the target field is something I really appreciate.
Cons
I came across many QA errors and they are annoying me.. Errors about missing spaces pop up but it is not always clear where those spaces are supposed to be in the source text. It would help if there were tags to show where those spaces are represented. I would also love to have a visible time counter while working on a project, unless that feature already exists and I have simply missed it.

Whenever I get stuck in the middle of something, this tool is really helpful and the interface is simple to use.
Cons
TM words do not always match the exact meaning and context. For instance, tense is extremely important with verbs and that part needs to be corrected. It would help if linguists were given more freedom to work on their own.

Pros
Getting around the platform feels very simple and the machine translation quality is genuinely very good. The interface is clean and well organized which makes navigation simple and keeps everything clearly visible.
Cons
While working on an hourly basis, it's not clear to me how it actually measures my time... whether it relies on keystrokes, mouse movement or something else and it seems like time spent researching or thinking is not included. Another limitation is that once a segment is confirmed, I have to unconfirm it before making any edits and I also Cant even copy text from a confirmed segment. Tag management is also quite awkward. the QA feature hasn't been very useful because it flags too many false errors. It would be much better if the QA checks could be tailored to the needs of specific clients.

Pros
Being able to work on projects offline is really useful and the communication throughout the platform has been good as well.
Cons
I don t like how difficult it is to actually get a project. Every time an email comes through, the project is already gone within seconds. A different system for assigning or offering projects would make things feel much fairer for everyone.

Working across different accounts and subject areas has been a really valuable part of this platform. In one task, I can use my background in Life Sciences and in another, I get to apply my knowledge to technology, music or social media. That variety keeps the work interesting and has helped me learn a lot. Ive been able to practice my existing skills while also building new ones which matters a lot to me because Im always looking to grow.
Cons
One thing that has been very frustrating is getting an email from LILT about a new project, only to check it seconds later and see that it is already unavailable. It feels almost impossible to actually secure the job sometimes and that has been upsetting. Ive also tried accessing projects from my iPhone but I frequently run into page errors saying that Chrome, Safari, Mozilla and other browsers are not compatible. I already reported this to PMs and support but the problem still continues. the payment terms are too slow. Some jobs have taken more than 45 days to be completed and paid which is far too long.

This tool has been part of my workflow since 2016 and it was already offering adaptive AI in a cloud-based platform long before other CAT tools or tech providers caught up. Its real-time, word-level adaptation is incredibly useful because I can reshape a full sentence or segment within seconds without needing to delete the entire suggestion and start over.
Cons
A limitation lately is that Im only able to use Lilt on projects assigned through Lilt. I'd genuinely be happy to pay for a subscription if it meant I could also use it for my own professional and personal projects.

Working with LILT feels reassuring because they rely on advanced technology and a very capable team. That combination gives us a lot of confidence in the quality of the final result.
Cons
What could be better is communication with the project managers. They use a shared inbox for all projects and at times it seems like messages are not reaching the right person directly. That can create some difficulty especially when something urgent comes up although it has not affected the overall quality of the experience.
