Microsoft Copilot Features
Work IQ
This feature connects workplace data, context, and tools around the user’s role and organization. It helps Copilot and agents draw on relevant work information across Microsoft 365. This allows responses and assistance to reflect the context of ongoing tasks more closely.
Copilot Cowork
The platform handles multi-step work across connected apps and business systems using Copilot Cowork. Users describe the outcome they want, while Cowork plans and carries out the required steps. It can also pause at key checkpoints for approval before completing sensitive actions.
Search
Microsoft Copilot includes AI-powered enterprise search for finding information across work content and Microsoft apps. Users can search with a question, phrase, or command instead of relying only on keywords. Work IQ helps surface results that are more closely tied to the user’s workplace context.
Agents
The software lets users add ready-to-use agents or create agents for specific tasks and workflows. These agents can automate common work or act on a user’s behalf. Copilot Studio also supports building or customizing agents with templates or natural-language instructions for more tailored business processes.
Copilot Notebooks
Microsoft Copilot provides Notebooks for bringing chats, files, meeting notes, and project materials into one workspace. Users can organize and analyze this content, then build new material from it. The feature can also generate podcast-style summaries to help users catch up on collected information.
Create
This feature helps in turning ideas into designed content such as videos, podcasts, and surveys. Users can also edit existing material instead of starting from scratch. Creation can begin with a prompt, template, or company brand kit, giving teams several ways to develop new content.

“provides smart suggestions that help”
Pros
It is user-friendly and does a good job guessing what you will need next. For example if you are testing a Facebook login for positive cases and ask for a full set of test cases, it may proactively ask if you also want the negative scenarios. That makes the workflow feel very natural and helpful.
Cons
The UI/editor still needs work. So it would be better if past prompts were shown in a more interactive and organized way instead of how they appear now. I'd also prefer the response area to open on a separate screen rather than inside an overlay window. On top of that when prompts are entered too frequently or too quickly, it sometimes throws an error saying it could not generate the response.

“useful rewrites but pricey license”
Pros
One thing I really like is being able to ask it to rewrite an email that sounds a bit harsh and make it more diplomatic or on the flip side, turn a list of ideas into a well structured PowerPoint presentation.
Cons
Well the license is still a high cost for a small business and it can make you question whether it pays off right away for every type of user.

“useful across microsoft tools”
Pros
Being built into the Microsoft ecosystem makes it very easy to use every day. I can access it right inside Microsoft 365 and it now supports many smart AI chat features as well. It is especially helpful when I need to fix Microsoft-related issues like Windows problems, driver errors or checking laptop performance.
Cons
To me it still feels a bit like a ChatGPT copy. Though it is definitely capable and the features are impressive but it still doesn't feel quite as advanced or refined as ChatGPT. On top of that it can glitch from time to time when I throw too many queries at it especially when I enter longer words or full sentences.
