Using it feels very easy and the interface is really well designed. Accessing data is quick and generating analysis is fast too, with attractive graphics and charts that make everything easier to understand.
Cons
One thing that's missing is a tutorial for the analytics cloud that covers specific industries, because I haven't been able to find guidance tailored to that.

The platform is easy to use and the graphics have a bold, modern look that feels current.
Cons
Unfortunately, constant server errors get in the way and there is little to no useful information provided about what actually caused them. The planning model also does not let data be entered into calculated accounts which forces the user to maintain both an "Account Plan" and an "Account Import" just to build a "Congreatated Account" with logic like IF(version = plan, [Account Plan], [Account Import]). That makes planning for each calculated account unnecessarily complicated and when more than one version is involved, the complexity increases exponentially. On top of that, there are very few formulas available for calculations. Performance is also a serious issue because of the reliance on Lookup formulas. Some of these complexities can only be handled through scripts but scripting is not something an end user can learn quickly so it removes automation possibilities and pushes the process back toward outdated manual work. Every script has to be triggered with a button and the wait time cannot exceed five minutes or the action fails. In one case, I ended up needing 12 different buttons just to complete a single action.

Cons

Cons
Right now I'm testing the app with sales orders and the biggest problem is that formatted searches don't work in the app. Several user-defined fields in the order need to be completed through those formatted searches but they simply aren't functioning.

The application works well overall although there are still a few things that need to be fixed. For example, in the Crystal Reports version you can run parameters but in the app that option is not available. Both versions should really offer the same functionality.
