“easy documentation
Pros
From what I've seen, it offers some of the best value for the price among AI medical scribes. It has honestly become a really useful part of how we document patient visits in our clinic. Instead of spending so much time typing during appointments, I can focus more on the patient while the tool captures most of the conversation. Later, it turns those discussions into usable clinical notes which saves me a lot of time every week. That alone has made my workflow smoother and less stressful.
Cons
In my experience the tool is not perfect. Most of the time it works well but I still need to clean up the notes occasionally. This usually happens when the conversation becomes complex or when multiple people are speaking at the same time. I sometimes have to adjust wording or correct small details. Even though this extra step takes time, it is still faster than writing the entire note from scratch.

“Disappointing performance & missed details
Pros
there is not really much I dislike about it overall. It does a fairly good job summarizing the H&P section during patient visits. However I still find that the summaries need quite a bit of editing afterward before they are ready to be finalized. So while it definitely helps speed things up, it's not completely hands-off yet.
Cons
I've noticed that it can make quite a few errors. In some cases, I end up spending just as much time fixing the mistakes as I used to spend dictating notes myself. Sometimes it even changes things that should not be changed. For example, I once told a patient I would prescribe a steroid ointment but it documented it as a cream which is not the same thing. Dermatologists know that ointments and creams are very different. I've also seen it change diagnoses in the assessment and plan. For instance, when I entered uncontrolled diabetes (E11.65), the system interpreted the conversation and added diabetes without complications (E11.9). That means I then have to move the plan manually to the correct diagnosis. Another limitation is that I cannot train it to follow my preferred documentation style. There is a feedback button asking whether something was helpful but if I click "No," I cannot explain why. Support has also been disappointing when I reported these problems. On top of that, the floating window sometimes blocks parts of the EMR interface so I have to move it around while working. The software can also be glitchy and has occasionally stopped recording in the middle of a visit without explanation. After dealing with these issues, I'm honestly considering canceling my subscription.

“great communication but crashes often
Pros
how quickly and easily I can communicate with patients and providers through the system. It does not feel complicated or frustrating to use. In fact, the communication process feels smooth and natural which makes everyday tasks much easier.
Cons
it crashes quite often. In my case, it happens at least twice a day. When it crashes, any progress I have made is lost and there is no way to recover the work. that can be extremely frustrating during a busy clinic schedule.

“Fast notes,...still needs some editing
Pros
using this tool has definitely helped me complete my notes faster. The note-taking process feels more efficient and the accuracy is generally reliable. Instead of writing everything manually, I can review and adjust the generated notes which saves a lot of time during busy clinic days.
Cons
It definitely takes some time to get used to the technology. When I first started using it...it took a while before I felt comfortable integrating it into my daily workflow.

“Summarizes well but struggles with accuracy
Pros
I find it particularly helpful when it comes to summarizing conversations during patient visits. Instead of focusing on typing while the patient is talking, I can pay more attention to the discussion itself. The software handles most of the documentation, allowing me to stay more engaged with the patient.
Cons
An issue is that it does not always capture information accurately. In particular, it struggles with recognizing orders, prescriptions or imaging requests correctly. I would really like to see improvements in how it processes these clinical instructions.

“good for HPI but needs more editing
Pros
it does a pretty good job capturing the History of Present Illness section. That part of clinical documentation can be time-consuming but the software usually organizes the details well enough for me to review and finalize quickly.
Cons
I have also found that it does not perform very well with sections like the Review of Systems, Physical Exam or Assessment. These areas often require more manual editing than I expected.

“Setup Delays
Pros
Unfortunately, I have not actually been able to use the product yet because the activation process was confusing and took longer than expected. I attended a webinar before upgrading my eCW version but I didn't realize I would need to attend another webinar specifically for it activation. That made the setup process more complicated than I anticipated.
Cons
activation process was also slower than I anticipated. Getting the product set up took longer than it should have which delayed my ability to start using it.

“Efficient Workflow
Pros
one feature I really appreciate is the ability to capture patient conversations automatically. once the visit is documented, I can quickly move on to the next patient without worrying about writing everything down manually. That makes the workflow much more efficient.
Cons
When I review the notes, I often have to merge sections manually. It would be much easier if the system allowed me to select multiple fields and merge them quickly instead of editing each section individually.

“provides accurate summaries
Pros
I like how accurate the summaries usually are. If something needs to be adjusted, I can easily edit the notes before finalizing them. Another helpful feature is that the recording remains available for about a week which gives me time to go back and double-check anything if needed.
Cons
sometimes information ends up in the wrong section of the note. For example, details that I intend for the HPI or assessment might appear somewhere else in the documentation that forces me to reorganize the note manually before finalizing it.

“great EMR Integration but missing codes
Pros
the fact that it works directly within the EMR system is a big advantage. Having a built-in scribe tool inside the EMR makes documentation much more convenient. If the system continues improving and becomes more refined, it could save even more time during daily clinical work.
Cons
one limitation is that it does not reliably capture diagnosis codes. It also does not automatically add E&M or CPT codes for visits. In addition, I would like the option to send notes or instructions to staff directly from within the documentation.

“top choice for hpi
Pros
sunoh does a pretty good job capturing the HPI section. Most of the time the generated notes are already usable and only require minor edits before I finalize them. That alone saves me a noticeable amount of time during documentation.
Cons
the physical exam documentation is a weak point. Even when I clearly say "now on physical exam" and dictate the findings, the system often misses it. Orders and plans also struggle sometimes. If I dictate orders directly, it may capture them correctly about half the time.

“Affordable with simplified plans
Pros
one thing I really appreciate is how quickly the system generates a transcribed HPI. The speed makes a big difference during busy clinic days. Since I recently switched to a lower-volume concierge practice, many AI scribe tools feel overpriced for my needs. it's pay-per-use model actually makes a lot more sense financially and is a big advantage for me.
Cons
its not always very easy. sometimes the language it generates for the plan becomes overly simplified which means I have to edit it to match the level of detail I prefer.

“Captures conversations well but pricing is high
Pros
What I like most is that I don't have to rely on memory to write everything down in the note afterward. The system captures the conversation during the visit so I don't feel stressed about remembering every detail when its time to complete the chart.
Cons
one drawback is the pricing model. Paying for each use of the AI assistant can add up over time especially if I am using it frequently throughout the day.

“Improves workflow but misses details
Pros
I've also noticed a real improvement in my documentation workflow. it makes the process easier and more organized which helps me complete patient notes faster and with less effort.
Cons
it misses important details from the visit or misunderstands who said what during the conversation. that can lead to small inaccuracies that I need to fix later.

“best for dictation
Pros
It has definitely made dictation much easier for me. Instead of spending a lot of time typing out notes manually, I can review what the system generates and make small adjustments. That cuts down a lot of the time I would normally spend typing.
Cons
overall, I think the tool still needs improvement when it comes to providing accurate diagnosis codes and documenting the plan discussed with the patient. These are important parts of clinical documentation so better accuracy in those areas would make the system much more useful.

“Works well but too many clicks
Pros
The smooth scribe feature actually works quite well. Honestly I did not go through years of medical training just to spend most of my time typing notes.
Cons
It takes too many clicks just to turn the system on. once it's running, I've also noticed that some other functions in the system get limited or temporarily disabled which interrupts my normal workflow.

“Focus on patients but needs data import
Pros
another benefit is that it gives me more time to focus on the patient. I can maintain eye contact and actually listen carefully to what they are saying instead of staring at the computer screen. It also means I don't have to take my laptop home just to finish documentation later.
Cons
I really wish the system allowed me to import past patient data more easily. Being able to pull in previous information would make documentation much smoother and help maintain continuity in patient records.

“Smooth integration
Pros
In my experience the conversations are captured very well. the system integrates smoothly into the workflow and the accuracy of the captured information is quite impressive.
Cons
another issue is the lack of automatic communication with the EMR. Since it's not fully integrated with diagnosis codes, referrals or automated test ordering, I still have to do many of those tasks manually. A deeper integration would make the tool much more powerful.

“exciting tool & needs time to adjust
Pros
our team is actually excited about using it. one of the biggest advantages for providers is that we don't have to dictate long notes anymore. That alone makes the documentation process feel much less exhausting.
Cons
we are still in the process of learning how to use it properly and integrating it into our patient visits. Like any new technology, it takes time to adjust our workflow and figure out the best way to use it.

“Improving over time but needs work
Pros
I've also noticed that the system seems to improve the more I use it. Over time, it has gotten better at capturing the HPI section and even picks up parts of the plan I mention during visits like ordering labs, imaging or referrals.
Cons
On the iPad version, it still feels cumbersome to transfer the assessment and plan into the final note. It also does not always capture the physical exam well when I am describing it during the visit. Even though it sometimes suggests orders, it still struggles to capture the complete treatment plan accurately. I've even tried clearly saying things like "the plan is to" but the system still misses parts of it.
