“no solution by customer service”
Pros
Call routing through the phone tree is useful and that's really the only positive thing I can point to.
Cons
Unfortunately, the phone system goes down far too often. We need our phones working every minute of every day but there are entire days when the system is unavailable. We deal with a lot of dropped calls, periods of dead silence while talking to someone and ongoing outages. Customer service has not provided any real resolution.

“helpful phone tree”
Pros
Getting started isn't hard and integrating it into our setup was quick. The phone tree works well and the touting options have also been useful for our needs.
Cons
On the downside, the website feels outdated and both the calls and the provided hardware seem to run into problems on a regular basis. It also doesn't seem like there's much effort being made to improve or update the product.

“Worth the money”
Pros
Compared with what it costs, the value is outstanding and the call quality has been consistently excellent.
Cons
Using the software feels fairly complex so proper training is really necessary before getting comfortable with the app.

“number porting fell short”
Pros
At first, Mango Voice seemed to offer a really good mix of affordability and features.
Cons
Things went downhill when the Mango team couldn't successfully port my numbers over from my previous provider. During that period, I was still able to use most of Mango's features since they set up call forwarding through their system. But after several unsuccessful porting attempts, I eventually canceled the service and moved back to a larger phone provider in my area.

“constant outages hurt operations”
Pros
Being able to connect calls with our Practice Management Software is definitely a useful feature.
Cons
The service goes down far too often and gets interrupted repeatedly. Running a business this way just isn't possible.

“Poor audio quality”
Pros
Something they do well is customer support. The team is responsive and helpful when issues come up. That said, the phone lines and connection keep dropping which just doesn't work in a busy office setting.
Cons
Call quality is hard to deal with because it's difficult to hear people and the connection is unreliable. We also keep getting alerts that the phones are down which has been a constant problem.

“reliable setup”
Pros
Getting started was simple and using it day to day has been quite easy. Most of the time, the service has been dependable and has done what we need it to do.
Cons
For more than 9 months, the software performed really well but lately we've been dealing with outages. When that happens, there hasn't been any customer service available to respond to our concerns. For a medical office, being without phone service for hours and having no one to talk to about it is completely unacceptable. The scheduling feature for the office also needs improvement. Right now, you have to manually choose when the phones turn on and off instead of setting up a customized schedule for specific days or weeks.

“customer service team is helpful”
Pros
Overall, the software has been good to use. The customer service team is helpful and it works well with Flex and Open Dental.
Cons
One thing that keeps confusing my employees is the recordings page. You have to scroll sideways to locate the recording and it trips them up every time. It would be much better if everything fit on one screen.

“useful call routing management”
Pros
Having the ability to view call logs and manage the call routing and schedule has been really useful.
Cons
The web app and desktop app have been terrible. I honestly don't think they've ever worked properly for me. Whenever I've reached out to support, the response has always been that a new version is coming and it will be much better. I'm still waiting for them to finally get it right.

“great features for multiple locations”
Pros
Using this platform has been very easy. The system is simple to work with, call recording is really helpful and it works well for businesses operating in multiple locations.
Cons
Recently, there have been two outages that affected East Coast customers. Although a fix was put in place, it still disrupted our day to day work because calls kept dropping. On top of that the wait times for customer service have been far too long. I understand that remote work and staffing shortages are affecting many industries but there still needs to be a better solution in place.

“Helpful faxing”
Pros
It's really convenient to send faxes without needing a physical fax machine and when everything is working properly, the switchboard feature does a very good job of routing calls.
Cons
Lately, the service quality has been dropping more often especially on Mondays and there's never any clear ETA for when it will be fixed. Since our business depends heavily on both incoming and outgoing calls, any outage or disruption has a serious impact on a big part of our revenue.

Being able to connect remotely from my iPhone to the system has been really useful.

“better pricing”
Pros
Compared with our previous VOIP provider, the pricing here has been much better and the software is also far more capable with customizable features. The switchboard has been especially useful because we can reroute calls when team members are out without forcing patients to go through a long, frustrating menu. The cloud based soft phone gives us access to the system from anywhere which means we can call patients from our office number instead of using personal cell phones during emergency on call hours, weather related closures and similar situations. The software feels user friendly and doesn't take much training to get people comfortable with it.
Cons
An area that still feels limited is the call reporting. The reports are pretty basic and not customizable. It would be really helpful if we could export them into Excel so we could sort the data and use it in the way we need.

“solid experience overall”
Pros
After about four years of using Mango Voice, it has been a solid experience overall. Every now and then there are technical issues but they do make an effort to get them resolved.
Cons
It still doesn't integrate with my orthodontic software.

“dropped calls and poor service”
Pros
Only real upside is that it's simple to use and there isn't much else beyond that.
Cons
Right now, the service has been bad and a lot of calls keep dropping.

“Unreliable app”
Pros
Customer support has been polite and the website is simple to navigate.
Cons
Working from home part of the time, I installed the app on my phone and added an extra line but the app has been awful. Calls drop constantly, many of them do not connect at all and when I answer, the patient often cannot hear me. It has been an ongoing issue. I have called support several times and each time they tell me someone from that team will get in touch but I am still waiting. When I followed up again, I was told the team had gone on vacation and would reach out later. Nothing has happened yet. At this point, we are considering switching because the app problems make it impossible to rely on this company for remote use.

Pros
One useful feature is being able to check voicemail through email.

“affordable VoIP that works well”
Pros
Using this VoIP has been a more affordable option and once you get familiar with the interface, managing everything is pretty simple.
Cons
Every now and then, the system goes down on a national scale. It usually gets fixed within an hour but it is still inconvenient when you are trying to keep a business running.

“crashes too frequently”
Pros
The texting feature is useful when it's actually working.
Cons
There have been far too many crashes and even getting everything set up was a hassle. When we first rolled it out, we were on the phone with support almost every day for around two weeks trying to fix issues that were supposedly already "resolved." Even now, every 4 6 weeks, there seems to be another outage where the service stops working. It's incredibly frustrating for both our staff and our clients and it has ended up costing the business a lot of money.

“Very easy to use”
Pros
Their customer service team is always very helpful and responsive. For the most part, the system is easy to use.
Cons
On the admin side though making changes to extensions and similar settings feels a bit complicated. I usually end up missing a step and have to reach out to customer support for help.
