“Asset Tiger is a real find. Plus a keeper!

Pros

This is the only asset tool I found that supports recording Community Association assets. With minimal customization, I recorded replacement values and useful life information. Exporting to MS Excel allowed me to perform Capital Fund Projections. I can also record the asset maintenance schedule and costs to support annual budgeting, plus there's a calendar for maintenance and contract dates. This has provided the committee with a new level of visibility.

Cons

There are minor issues, like the inability to upload photos of assets from a mobile phone, and limitations with number fields during loading and saving.

It's easy to check equipment or assets in and out. Updating an asset's information or adding details like photos or calibration certificates is uncomplicated.

Cons

The search function is cumbersome and not very efficient. it doesn't effectively search across all information fields. Its effectiveness relies on employees actively using it.

I like that it is immediately available for trial and use. Other commercial products take weeks or months to become available and set up. With AssetTiger, it's accessible on your PC and mobile with just a few clicks. You can experiment and get familiar within a few hours and start using it effectively right away.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have a feature in AssetTiger that allows easy transfer of assets between users across different locations without needing to go through the check-in/check-out process.

It has a low price, allows bulk uploads, lets you build custom reports, and has multiple fields for data entry.

Cons

Customizing fields, generating intuitive reports, locating device history, and integrating with MS365 SSO are challenging. Updating several systems is also a hassle. We use this for laptop tracking, and integrating help desk software with the check-in/check-out process would be beneficial.

AssetTiger allows us to easily track hardware issued to employees through the check-in and check-out functionality. With AssetTags in the form of a barcode and the app's scanner, we can use a cellphone to assign hardware to employees, check inventory for replacement equipment, and always have a clear overview of equipment locations.

Cons

The software required us to rethink how we track inventory, as each item had to be treated as a separate asset. Enhancing the functionality to add multiple assets to a single item with various IDs/tags would provide a clearer overview of inventory.

Pros

I've been involved in asset management off and on for 20 years, and AssetTiger is the most robust system I've used so far.

Cons

Table views don't allow displaying all records on a single page, which would simplify my use of AssetTiger. There are glitches in the Sites, Persons/Employees, and Customers table views that I've reported but haven't been resolved yet.

The software drains our phone batteries when uploading assets, and the process is time-consuming for each individual asset.

Pros

The ability to check out assets to people and places is a major advantage of this software. Keeping track of assets and their value makes it easier to see spending and compile a list of stolen or broken items for insurance claims.

Cons

My main issue lies with the mobile app however it feels unpolished, and having to sign in every time I use it reduces its efficiency. Currently, I find it more effective to take photos of assets with their tags and manage them via the website.

I love being able to scan a bar code to instantly know where an item is and who it's assigned to. The reminders about antivirus software and a section for our funding sources are also great features.
