“Affordable and simple
Pros
We use this product because it's very solid and does what it promises. It's budget-friendly, practical and created specifically for real-world asset tracking. Our organization has used it successfully for years and we've recommended it to other teams with comparable operational needs. When problems occur, they don't brush them off, they listen and act which really matters. Simplicity and usefulness are the strengths. It gives us centralized, cloud-based way to track everything from AVL gear to HVAC units without complicated setup or steep expenses. The barcode check-in/check-out capability is helpful for managing shared equipment and the maintenance scheduling keeps us ahead of preventive tasks. The web platform is user-friendly and asset records are simple to customize with photos, receipts and notes. It provides excellent value and helps us support stewardship by reducing loss, improving accountability and organizing our asset management.
Cons
While the recent account and pricing change was mishandled at first, the support team ultimately stepped up and helped us. Even so, they should have executed a smoother, more considerate rollout especially for long-standing customers. The software lacks more advanced features and up-to-date integrations. The mobile app is clumsy and often sluggish which frustrates staff trying to scan items in the field. User roles are too broad, preventing precise access control. It also doesn't include a built-in reservation system so managing shared gear requires external calendars. There's no integration with platforms like Google Workspace, Asana or Slack which limits workflow automation. That gap affects volunteers who have limited time to learn. For internal tracking it's functional but it falls short in flexibility, automation and usability for volunteers or part-time staff.

“Sudden change in pricing structure
Pros
The old free tie was great but they messed it up by slapping on arbitrary limits that now make it hard for me to even stay compliant. These days, free version is okay but only just barely acceptable.
Cons
The sudden shift in pricing and the way they tacked on random limits completely blindsided me. I couldn't understand why I wasn't grandfathered into a plan that wouldn't wipe out my custom field data, losing years of populated fields felt like a slap in the face. Two users? Seriously? Only five custom fields? I'm expected to pay an extra $20 a month just to get back the custom fields I've relied on for years. It feels like they're forcing people off the free tier into an expensive paid tier and the jump from free to roughly $240 a year if billed monthly is outrageous.

Pros
Found it to be a full-featured asset management platform that lets me monitor our IT inventory down to fine-grained attributes and provides powerful reporting tools.

“easily customizable tool
Pros
We found it really simple to handle our assets and it's easy to adjust to our needs.
Cons
In our situation, there isn't a backup feature so we can't roll data back to any prior date if something goes wrong. I would really like to see a more solid inventory module with expanded functionality. It also needs a lease-management system because we operate about 50 stores across different malls and buildings and we have to track lease contracts, rents, insurance and similar obligations. Finally, the asset valuation tools should be enhanced to produce better, finance-ready reports for our accounting department.

Pros
It's very convenient to use and they clearly put real thought into the user experience. I was able to get my inventory set up, scan barcodes and duplicate assets in no time. The check-in/check-out functionality is solid and dependable. Overall the app runs smoothly and feels very well designed.

Pros
Was pleasantly surprised by how fast I could get the system installed and up and running. Having a free tier really helped me at the start since it let me try the tool without any obligations and figure out whether it truly fits my workflow.

“Highly recommended!
Pros
We operate nationally with team members spread across several states and each of our users has separate accounts and customized views. Because of that, we're able to easily view and manage assets at every single location we run. I really appreciate that I can see when a piece of equipment is free and then request it from someone else which creates a clear paper trail. It's also useful to get a snapshot of the total value and depreciation for all our assets organization-wide. Even though we're only a single branch right now, we have been recommending this platform to our parent organization as something they should consider adopting.
Cons
When it comes to inventory, it's still pretty basic and feels restricted to us right now. In my experience so far, while adding or editing items I can't assign a 'Location' or 'Sub-Location' and then use that to search for the inventory which is frustrating. I tried creating custom fields to work around it but those didn't appear or function as expected in the item details. The inventory records also can't be shared across our different sites which limits coordination. On top of that, there's a bug tied to changing the InventoryID. Once we alter it, the system won't let us revert back without having to manually update every affected record one by one.

“Asset Tiger is a real find. Plus a keeper!
Pros
This is the only asset tool I found that supports recording Community Association assets. With minimal customization, I recorded replacement values and useful life information. Exporting to MS Excel allowed me to perform Capital Fund Projections. I can also record the asset maintenance schedule and costs to support annual budgeting, plus there's a calendar for maintenance and contract dates. This has provided the committee with a new level of visibility.

“AssetTracking for Small Companies
Pros
AssetTiger allows us to easily track hardware issued to employees through the check-in and check-out functionality. With AssetTags in the form of a barcode and the app's scanner, we can use a cellphone to assign hardware to employees, check inventory for replacement equipment, and always have a clear overview of equipment locations.
Cons
The software required us to rethink how we track inventory, as each item had to be treated as a separate asset. Enhancing the functionality to add multiple assets to a single item with various IDs/tags would provide a clearer overview of inventory.

Pros
The ability to check out assets to people and places is a major advantage of this software. Keeping track of assets and their value makes it easier to see spending and compile a list of stolen or broken items for insurance claims.
Cons

Pros
The features and pricing of Asset Tiger make it excellent for managing both short-term and long-term item checkouts.
Cons
While there are plenty of features and customization options, I wish I could generate a check-out report for locations that includes the assigned person. Currently, I can only run it by who the asset is checked out to, but I'd like to see which items are at a specific location and the person responsible for them. Pros
Reporting is excellent. If you've detailed your assets well (using Categories, locations, descriptions, etc.), you can organize reports in many ways to suit your needs.
Cons
Reserving and checking in/out assets is cumbersome and often not worth the effort, even though it could prevent double-booking between locations. Pros
I love how easy it is to set up this program and app. I had the warehouse guy set it up with little to no training. The stickers are easy to apply, though on plastic surfaces, I recommend riveting them in. Training field technicians is simple, and they find it easy to use.
Cons
I find the reporting features could be more user-friendly. The reports are excellent, but saving them is cumbersome. It would be helpful to have an email report of assets that haven't been updated in a while. Additionally, a user activity feed would be useful to identify and address users who aren't engaging with the program.
