Every so often I run into slowdowns when the system processes big coding scripts and that can be really annoying while I'm monitoring projects live. Although the overall interface is fairly user-friendly, some of the more advanced tools don't feel very interactive to me especially when I'm dealing with code. Integrating third-party tools can also be troublesome , I often have to perform extra configuration and deal with compatibility issues that crop up from time to time.

I am not a fan of Lightning. The work order module looks messy and unorganized. The purchase order module is fine but not being able to add an asset directly from a PO means extra work. Cycle counts are not great and I hate that I can't print a simple PDF list of items. Plus the invoice module needs serious improvements as it feels like you need an Eptura for Dummies book to figure it out. Reports are tough to create and the mobile version is missing key features. Overall, it still needs a lot of work to be truly user friendly.

Getting in touch with a real person is nearly impossible. Our contact for setup takes days or even weeks to reply. Also we have been dealing with a ManagerPlus accounts payable issue for over six months now, and our original renewal quote was not honored leaving us with a $225 difference.

It was quite easy to learn once we could fully switch to the newer version without having to juggle Classic and the new one together.
Cons
Work orders and invoices are hard for customers to read. I cannot get odometer readings or repair concerns to show up on invoices, so I have to print both the work order and invoice just to get all the info in one place. It is frustrating. Plus the way work orders are displayed is confusing as each concern should have all its notes, parts and attachments in one section, but instead everything is collapsed, and you have to click into multiple areas just to see what was done. Assigning parts is a pain too. You cannot list the same part more than once, even if you need it for different areas, which causes duplicates. A simple highlight or flag would work but stopping it completely makes no sense. Searching past work orders is slow and I always have to keep 10 tabs open to switch between different areas. Also, if you add a note anywhere other than a work order, there should be a notification so people actually see it. Otherwise, how would anyone know it's there?

Cons
The worst part of ManagerPlus is making reports. There is so much useful data stored in the system, but it is way too difficult to pull it into the reports we actually need. The report tool is easy to use but does not always have the info you want and the BI feature is very hard to navigate. Getting help from ManagerPlus for it is also nearly impossible.

It automatically alerts our parts clerk when inventory runs low. Having every scheduled preventive maintenance item displayed in a single calendar view also makes it easy to find and quickly review everything.

What really frustrates me is the parts tracking , there's no way for me to indicate when an item is on order in the parts sheet. With more than 5,000 spare parts to manage, our parts clerk ends up guessing what's already been ordered whenever technicians ask about specific items. I found our old Excel setup easier because it had a column showing quantities on order and expected placement dates that anyone could check. Browser compatibility is another huge headache, the software struggles badly with Internet Explorer and behaves much better in Chrome but our IT department won't install Chrome across the board. I've been trying to rename over 600 scheduled PMs for three days, yet about half of my changes don't save correctly. Even when I follow the suggested approach of making 10-20 edits and saving frequently, I still lost more than an hour of work today due to persistent save errors.

I've tried looking for anything positive about this software and came up empty , it's genuinely the worst I've used in my experience and the customer support is equally awful, offering no help.

Completely broken and unreliable system , I honestly feel like they should just start over from scratch. I hate almost everything about this product and it's painfully clear the developers don't grasp how garage management software should work. In my use, nothing operates correctly and even the most basic functions like core work order features are missing or poorly implemented. I spent ages trying to get simple items such as mileage to appear on work orders, and even after all that effort it's still incorrect. When I go back to work orders later the details often disappear , it doesn't save properly, and data seems to vanish constantly. There is so much that's busted I couldn't possibly list it all here. Their customer support is basically useless, they respond rarely and when they do it never results in a fix. After two decades in the industry, this is by far the worst system I've run into. What makes it worse is that the old Manager Plus desktop product used to be excellent and this web replacement is night and day in a terrible way. Don't be misled by the old product's reputation and this new version is completely different and broken. I can only imagine the original developers would be furious seeing how this company has ruined what was once a solid product. Stay well away from this system or you'll regret the time and money lost. It's worth adding that the company has changed hands twice since launch and nothing has improved , same broken software, same awful support.

When I'm building a work order, I can only look up parts by their descriptions, there isn't an option to search by part number directly. I've found that uploads sometimes run slowly and the barrage of email alerts becomes too much , they're constantly sending messages that fill up my inbox and create clutter.

The interface keeps our morning checks really simple and efficient especially when I'm working with scales and other everyday tasks.
Cons
there isn't a lot I actively dislike about it. A few sections could be a bit more interactive and I felt the onboarding process was somewhat rushed. My biggest frustration is the limited trainer availability whenever I try to book training, there are very few time slots to choose from. Because we're a production-heavy company with tight call schedules, it often seems like we have to rearrange our work to fit their openings instead of them fitting around our needs. It's annoying but not a dealbreaker, just areas that could definitely be improved.

“Centralized assets but missing report dates
Pros
What I like is that everything is centralized , all of our company's assets are housed in one place which makes monitoring and managing them together much more easy.
Cons
I can't get dates to display when I run reports, which is irritating since my boss needs precise dates on the work orders actually. The only way to view them now is to check each equipment's history instead of creating a proper report. If there is a way to include dates in reports, I'd really appreciate someone contacting me to explain how, please.

“Excellent Tool for Service Management
Pros
Honestly, I love how easy it is to move around in and put into action. The whole interface comes across as very interactive, so getting up and running turned out to be much simpler than I expected. What truly catches my attention is the support team , they're super responsive and make a point of checking back regularly to ensure everything continues to work as it should. The quality of service and the care they take with details from the support staff has been remarkable.
Cons
At the moment, I'm finding it hard to single out specific dislikes but I do think there are some areas that could be improved.
