nice fit for startups

Pros

This platform feels more geared toward people trying to launch something than folks using it just for themselves. From what I've seen, it makes more sense for business-minded users and I can see it being a great option for anyone starting a new venture.

Cons

FMX has turned out to be a great system so far for us compared to our previous system.

Pros

FMX is not only user-friendly and customizable but also allows for the automatic assignment of tasks. It is cost-effective, and the customer support is outstanding.

Cons

Pros

So far I haven't come across any real issues. The platform has been really nice to use and it's been working out very well for me up to this point.

Cons

I ended up giving this tool a shot because other school districts spoke highly of it and that good word of mouth definitely played a part in my decision.

really great support overall

Pros

Honestly I feel like we could lean on the provider a lot more when it comes to bringing out the newer features in the software. There seems to be a lot of help available and if we used that support more on purpose, I think our rollout of new tools would go a lot better. To me, the guidance is there, we just need to make better use of it.

Cons

do not have any downsides to call out. It has been a no-brainer for me.

Pros

Cons

Pros

Performance Matters.

Pros

FMX offers ease of use and seamless integration into our business operations. Generating reports is also very simple now, and it effectively organizes our maintenance department and staff. The mobile access is a bonus, and the software can be customized to match our specific business needs. The customer support is fantastic!

Cons

It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. A discount for non-profit organizations would be appreciated.

tons of useful flexibility..

Pros

There are so many ways to customize this tool that it's really easy to go overboard at first. I learned pretty quickly that it works better when I start with the basics and build things out little by little. That way, the setup feels a lot less overwhelming. Still, I really like having all that room to tweak things later when I actually need it.

Cons

So far I really haven't had any actual issues with it.

better fit for our team

Pros

One thing that really helped us was dealing with the nonstop flood of emails and alerts. With everything coming in at once, our team had a hard time keeping track of requests and staying organized, so this worked out much better for us.

Cons

School Dude didn't feel very user-friendly to me and it also wasn't flexible enough for the way our team needed to handle daily work.

extremely capable

Pros

Just a few months in and I can already say this has been a clear upgrade from what I was using before. So much of the platform feels more powerful, more polished and better built for what I need. On top of that, whenever little problems have come up, customer support has handled them really fast and that's been a big plus for me.

Cons

The biggest drawbacks for me are still the price and a few clunky parts of the experience. It can feel a little expensive at times and some areas of the system aren't as easy as I'd like them to be.

Pros

The price is a little higher than some other options I've looked at but to me it feels fair for what the software gives back. I've had a really good experience with it and that extra cost makes sense in day-to-day use. One thing I'd still love to see is a discount for non-profit organizations because I think that would make it even more appealing.

Cons

Honestly I don't have much new to add on the downside. It's mostly the same concern as before, mainly that the cost may feel a bit high compared to some alternatives.

FMX - The best for all of your Facility Management needs.

Pros

The program is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate. It provides a great platform for creating work orders, and our staff finds it simple to use. In comparison to other programs with confusing screen displays, FMX stands out.

Three Rivers Community Schools Review of FMX

Pros

The most impactful features for us are the Work Order, PM, and Inventory Modules. The transition from SchoolDude was mostly seamless, with just a few adjustments. I am fond of the bulk import feature, which I have utilized. The reporting functionality allows us to demonstrate to our Board of Educators the number of PMs and Work Orders completed on a monthly and yearly basis, which reinforces the need for our department. The ease of use of the calendar is also a fantastic feature.

Cons

Whenever I encounter something I can't figure out, I reach out to our Support Specialist, Jarod Crocket, or any other support specialist for assistance. So far, I haven't faced any drawbacks.

Whenever I get stuck, I usually reach out to the support team and I've always gotten quick and helpful responses. I also find their support one of the best parts since I haven't had any real complaints.

Cons

This tool has felt a lot more simple to work with than other ones I've used. The price was also a big reason I chose it and for me it's been a really strong plus.

Pros

I highly value the ability to manage a database of assets, as it ensures that equipment and facilities do not become a burden for our congregation. FMX keeps me informed about maintenance needs as they arise, and it helps me stay on top of preventative service as well.

Cons

I don't utilize the calendaring module because there are cleaner-looking church software options available. Importing a facility fully in a short amount of time can be a time-consuming process, but if done gradually, it can be accomplished. When I have questions about a system process, I find it challenging to express them verbally, so I rely more on written updates to educate myself.
