Flexible, Adaptable, Evolving CMMS

Pros

Hippo CMMS consistently strives to meet the end-user needs of its customers. We've been using this software in our school division since 2015 and have witnessed ongoing improvements that set Hippo apart from other options we considered.

Cons

Occasionally, the application encounters technical glitches, like access issues or malfunctions with certain features. These are understandable as the Hippo team continuously updates and improves the software. Data entry levels can also be cumbersome, particularly when adding new equipment that requires detailed company and model information. Enhancing the association of equipment with parts or related items, such as faucets, would streamline our processes.

Pros

The interface of Hippo is very intuitive and easy to learn, supported by excellent training documentation and videos.

Cons

It would have been beneficial to have additional category dropdown lists for Demand Work Orders, although it's not essential.

My thoughts on HIPPO

Pros

The ease of use and superb customer support are standout features for me. I likebeing able to attach photos, documents, and digital maintenance manuals to work orders, not to mention using floor plans.

Cons

Customizing reports and work order print options would be helpful to meet specific customer and regulatory needs. Adjusting decimal places in unit functions on work orders and adding dates in unit sections would enhance functionality.

PM scheduling is beneficial, although it took some effort initially to master its integration.

Cons

The history of work performed on individual equipment pieces is lacking. It would be beneficial to access a comprehensive work history in the comments section of each equipment record and track equipment attached to scheduled work orders.

Awesome product for maintenance tracking!

Pros

Hippo CMMS has been a fantastic tool for us over the past couple of years. It's been easy to manage inventory, maintenance requests, and training new team members every month.

Cons

Pros

This is my second time setting up a CMMS with Hippo. Ease of configuration is paramount for me, and my team has found the software much simpler to navigate compared to our previous system. The support from Hippo's team has been consistently excellent and responsive.

Cons

I'd like an effortless method to generate reports that can visualize metrics such as daily readings for specific tanks. It would be helpful to have graphs illustrating the depletion rate of these tanks over time.
