The editing feature is invaluable for tracking the progress of job orders, and it's easy for both requesters and administrators to follow.

Hippo CMMS
Hippo CMMS
Pros
I can easily check equipment status and history, and organize items by facility.
Cons
The system tends to slow down, especially later in the day. Extracting enterprise-level reports is challenging due to the numerous criteria available. For example, Facility ID isn't direct as it's assigned within the system rather than using the facility's name. Simplifying the entry of floor plans, locations, and buildings would be beneficial. I often have to backtrack to ensure data is correctly entered. Customer service has varied from helpful to directing me to online resources.

Poor product, terrible customer service
Poor product, terrible customer service
Pros
I don't find anything beneficial about the tool. It doesn't function well as an enterprise software.
Cons
The customer portal is the sole means to contact a service representative, but the old chat method allowed filling in all details before redirecting to the support portal. There's no option to speak directly with someone via phone; all extensions go to voicemail that's rarely returned. If our regional rep is away, we have to wait until they return, without any backup coverage. Customer service has declined since the buyout. Also, the Google SSO icon appears inactive but is actually clickable.

A Potentially good software with the poorest Customer support.
Pros
Basic tasks like creating and adding assets, and scheduling items are manageable. However, there's potential for more powerful features to make it function more like a project management tool.

Maintenance On the Move!
Maintenance On the Move!
Pros
Our agency needed building maintenance software to track our work, provide insights into our equipment and systems, and manage daily tasks. After evaluating six products with a team of employees including a director, manager, and team members, we chose Hippo CMMS. One standout feature was the ability to scan maps of our buildings and pinpoint equipment and systems. Creating detailed reports for each building visually enhanced our operations and distinguished Hippo from other options.
Cons
We struggle most with modules like adding resources to work orders. While the system allows adding another technician or resource, there's limited space to note what the original resource accomplished before assigning another. This can lead to confusion when responsibilities change. Adding inventory is also time-consuming; we're considering using barcoding to streamline this process.

Pros
The software is direct to use and train on. Most operators with moderate computer skills pick it up quickly. The reporting capabilities are excellent, and the service is top-notch. The mobile app has proven very effective for several of our applications.

Pros
I rely on its ability to track work orders and create pre-scheduled tasks effectively.
Cons
It would be helpful to have tabs distinguishing between tenant and landlord spaces. Some entries aren't alphabetized, and an amenities tab would be useful for items like trash cans, hand dryers, and light fixtures. Also, the software seems geared towards street legal vehicles, whereas we have various types like scissor lifts and forklifts that need to be accommodated.

Pros
The information provided by Mel from HIPPO was incredibly useful and easy to apply when scheduling a work order.
Cons
I'm currently exploring adding a separate calendar for our wine line, aside from our sparkling line. I'm still reviewing the information provided to see if this is feasible! Perhaps the request for a review could be sent after HIPPO's IT team assists the client, as I feel rushed filling this out without fully reviewing the information. But that could just be my issue! I absolutely adore the immediate, knowledgeable, and friendly support provided by your team. As a newcomer to this system with many questions, I've received amazing assistance. I'm still wrapping my head around certain aspects, but I'm very pleased with how user-friendly it is. I'm confident it will become more intuitive as I continue to learn.
Cons
A true cycle count feature for parts is crucial for our operations. It's essential to verify inventory accuracy through random weekly checks. Also, technicians should search for parts by part number rather than part name, as it's more efficient and aligns with manual references for machine parts.

A rich tool that's keeps getting better and better
Pros
Hippo is relatively easy to set up and operate, making it simple to introduce to new users. The recurring and scheduled work orders are particularly useful for preventive maintenance tasks. The recent mobile app release has made Hippo even more accessible on the go, which is crucial for our organization. While I likethe database query tool, I wish there was an option to duplicate queries. The customer service is exceptional and unmatched!
Cons
One of the main challenges we face with Hippo is locating newly opened work orders. It would be beneficial to have a dedicated queue for new work orders awaiting assignment, rather than searching through all active orders. The mobile app has improved the search function, but it requires re-entering search criteria for each navigation. Additionally, customizable field layouts for work orders would be a significant enhancement, allowing us to tailor fields and requirements to our specific needs.

Flexible, Adaptable, Evolving CMMS
Pros
Hippo CMMS consistently strives to meet the end-user needs of its customers. We've been using this software in our school division since 2015 and have witnessed ongoing improvements that set Hippo apart from other options we considered.
Cons
Occasionally, the application encounters technical glitches, like access issues or malfunctions with certain features. These are understandable as the Hippo team continuously updates and improves the software. Data entry levels can also be cumbersome, particularly when adding new equipment that requires detailed company and model information. Enhancing the association of equipment with parts or related items, such as faucets, would streamline our processes.

Hippo CMMS
Hippo CMMS

The software is direct to use and train on. Most operators with moderate computer skills pick it up quickly. The reporting capabilities are excellent, and the service is top-notch. The mobile app has proven very effective for several of our applications.

Pros

Cons
I'm currently exploring adding a separate calendar for our wine line, aside from our sparkling line. I'm still reviewing the information provided to see if this is feasible!
