Efficiency Amplified: Unraveling the Power of iM3 SCM Suite
Pros

The system is packed with features. My processes are quite unique, and the team worked diligently and thoroughly to understand my needs. Key processes like Product Kitting, Product Receiving, Reporting, Billing, and Mobility features are incredibly simple and straightforward to use.

Cons

When I first started using the system, there was a lot to grasp during the training phase. Occasionally, there were numerous steps to follow, but thanks to the support team's videos and documentation, I could repeat the process until I became proficient.

Great customer support, seamless implementation!
Pros

This software eliminates rework, which is a significant advantage for me. It provides a clear overview of the status of all my work orders at a glance. Once I got familiar with the screens, navigation became straightforward, though understanding the capabilities of each screen took some time. The system simplifies inventory tracking, allowing me to transfer stock from the main warehouse to service trucks efficiently. My mobile technicians can process and invoice repairs on the spot, and I can log in from home to assist when needed. I appreciate how inventory parts can be linked to work orders to avoid omissions.

Cons

I had hoped for better integration with Sage Desktop, but unfortunately, it was only available on Sage's online platform. As a result, our accounting process is somewhat manual at present. We did reach out to Sage multiple times, but they didn't provide comprehensive G/L mapping support. It would be great if we could edit work orders in the current status instead of being limited to specific statuses.

5 out of 5 rating hands down!
Pros

Integrating with my IT department was smooth, and the features are intuitive while being advanced for record-keeping and expense tracking. I enjoy using the software as it turns daily interactions into a one-stop shop. It's effective, clean, has a great user interface, and is simple to operate.

Cons

I haven't come across any software features that were not fulfilled.

Very easy to use system with rich functionality and outstanding customer support
Pros

The organization of the software is outstanding, and it's very straightforward to learn and use. Importantly, all modules are interconnected. The mobile apps for warehouse and asset management seamlessly link to the web interface in real-time. I love the transaction log and the system's flexibility. Unlike other ERPs requiring multiple steps for a simple transaction, iM3 accomplishes it in one click.

Cons

At the moment, the system lacks the ability to create custom fields. However, I'm pleased to hear that the support team is planning to launch this feature, which is already available in the sandbox environment.

Digital Transformation of Distribution/Manufacturing Facilities
Pros

I am very impressed with the iM3 SCM system and its robust order fulfillment module that consolidates my customer orders. Once the orders are received from various marketplaces, my warehouse and distribution team can efficiently pick, pack, and ship. The iM3 team is highly flexible and knowledgeable, providing the best process flows and methodologies, they are at the forefront of technology and extremely responsive. We started with a basic warehouse management program, which has now integrated Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), enhancing my operations' efficiency. As we automate our manufacturing facility, I appreciate managing all critical processes in one system that supports our growth.

Cons

As someone brimming with ideas, I truly appreciate how seriously the team takes my feedback and suggestions. Surprisingly, everything I wanted to incorporate into the system already existed. There were a few aspects like enhancing terminology/error messages that, once pointed out, were promptly resolved.

Robust product, great people who work as family!
Pros

Work Order Management and the Mobile App are great for scanning QR codes and viewing Asset History. I can scan materials and parts directly to work orders, create customer invoices, and quotes. There's so much I can do if I take the time to learn.

Cons

Just like with anything new, embracing change is essential. Initially, there is a learning curve, which can be demanding. Remembering numerous steps can be challenging, but once you get the hang of it, the team has done an excellent job of streamlining certain processes through features like copy transactions, templates, quick transaction creation, and other convenient shortcuts.

Pros

Cons

Capable of greatness but falls short.
Pros

The cloud-based and mobile integration allows me to access the program from anywhere, providing a lot of flexibility.

Cons

All processes seem to involve too many steps. Generating and closing out work orders and sales orders require numerous steps. Our customers often inquire if we are still working on their bill. The interface feels cluttered, with certain information and input fields unnecessarily prominent. It would be better to bury them in an additional info tab. For instance, the work order screen should resemble the WO completion screen, displaying only the necessary information in a single location. While there are some functions we enjoy, they could benefit from simple adjustments. For example, the parts request dashboard is great, but it lacks editing capability and the ability to leave notes on the desktop side. This would greatly enhance its usefulness. Additionally, the program lacks a robust work scheduler, and we find ourselves resorting to Google Calendar for shop scheduling. One significant drawback is the absence of a quick view function for customer or part information. For instance, we lack a core bank where we can easily search for any owed cores from a customer. Instead, we have to manually search for the part and determine if any cores are due. Moreover, the program has a steep learning curve and doesn't feel intuitive to use.

IM3 System (People plus software)
Pros

The software helps me keep better track of parts owed to other locations (service trucks), customers (back-ordered parts), and parts for specific jobs or over-the-counter sales. Even those not good with computers can use it for basic needs, while others can utilize its more in-depth features.

Cons

Like any software, updates bring constant improvements, which is great. However, sometimes minor details get overlooked during the update process.

FEEDBACK
Pros

I like the ability to add employees and tasks to different jobs, and I can delete invoices quickly if there's an error.

Cons

The SRTs (Software Reliability Tests) require updating. The inconsistent utilization of all the features hampers the software's effectiveness. There are instances where tasks are automatically duplicated, and glitches occur when non-backordered parts hinder invoice closure. Additionally, adding a model year fails to include the equipment code. The application's overall speed can also be delayed at times.

the customer support is 2nd to none. a far superior product than the system we had been using.
Pros

iM3 is very forward-thinking and continually adds features to improve the product. Their team invested many hours in understanding my business, unlike other software developers who offer inflexible products. They addressed my unique challenges with multiple locations and operations.

Cons

Initially, the program's weak point was report generation. However, by collaborating with IM3, we are now developing customized reports that cater to our evolving needs. While some tasks still require a few too many keystrokes, the upcoming new version addresses many of these issues.

Great customer support and training.
Pros

The ability to track parts is invaluable. Creating a purchase order from the work order screen is a fantastic feature. Sales orders and work orders are very easy to create and process. If I have questions, they always answer the phone and assist me.

Cons

Certain easy tasks take longer than necessary. Reporting is one such task. While the reports are available, locating them can be challenging. Another example is returning parts to inventory after they have been issued to a work order or sales order. However, the team is aware of these issues and actively working on finding solutions. Overall, it's a good system.

Inventory control is much better than we have ever experienced before.
Pros

Inventory management is straightforward with the receiving, scanning, and issuing processes. Service Work Orders can be done both in the shop and through the Mobile App, which works very well. Sales Orders are used to invoice Over the Counter Parts. Although inventory processes take more time, the accuracy is much better. I love how the iM3 team listens to our needs, continually improving and enhancing the software.

Cons

Initially, the system lacked comprehensive reports. However, thanks to user suggestions, the list of available reports has expanded over time. Those using the system continue to contribute ideas for additional reports, which is a positive aspect.
