“Used in college for a trail”
Pros
The mobile features work well across smartphone, notebook, and desktop devices.
Cons
It's somewhat unclear what exactly it does. My college accounting professor suggested using it to track assets. However, he eventually found it difficult to teach with, so he switched, and I didn't learn much about it.

“Easy set up and use with world class support”
Pros
As someone responsible for setup, upgrades, and support, I like the excellent support. Over the years, updating the server and getting this product back up has been straightforward. They even offer remote assistance at no charge, and having in-house developers is a significant advantage in my opinion.
Cons
Since it's Java-based, Java updates can cause problems. It runs on SQL, which can stress a server if it shares resources, but the product is lightweight, and you can run many other applications on the same server.

“So easy to use you will never have to call support”
Pros
I love how intuitive it is, at such a low monthly rate. What I appreciate the most is the option to purchase the software outright. No monthly fees if you decide to buy it after a free trial. I've recommended this to many clients recently because of its simplicity and purchasing option.
Cons
If it isn't broken, don't fix it. In my short time using this software, I haven't found anything I dislike about it. It's simply outstanding.

“MAPCON REVIEW”
Pros
I like how easy it is to schedule preventive maintenance and the automated scheduling feature. Even when I'm away, PMs are generated seamlessly, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. The handheld devices are excellent for technicians to manage and complete their work orders directly on site.
Cons
Although the PM scheduling is useful, it doesn't support a rotating resource schedule. Scheduling PMs for seasonal tasks is also challenging. If tradesmen close their own work orders, you can't assign multiple people to one work order, because once one person closes it, it closes for everyone, causing tasks to be forgotten. Multiple work orders have to be opened for the same job and assigned individually. Additionally, the program feels compartmentalized. I should be able to open, edit, and close a work order from the same screen. It's not very intuitive in many areas.

“Slightly complex, but overall excellent peice of software.”
Pros
I like that you have to identify who is making a request in the system, which is very helpful in a large company for knowing who to contact if there are any issues or questions. The management of work and task allocation is a standout feature, and I highly recommend it for this reason alone.

“STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE”
Pros
The customer service stands out. Initially, I called or emailed frequently. Over time, things got easier, and I didn't need to contact them as often. One day, I even received an email checking in on me since they hadn't heard from me in a while. It's comforting to know they are just a phone call or email away. Mapcon always responds, and if they can't at that moment, they provide another contact. It's reassuring to know someone always has your back.

“Older Version 5.1SP4”
Pros
It is a good system for the price. Systems are only as good as their configuration and data entry planning, and most offer very similar features. This system covers most requirements, but due to the age of our version, it lacks mobility and domain integration. Newer systems offer these features but charge for modules that are included in the older version. Nonetheless, the cost is reasonable compared to other systems, and the company listens and addresses customer issues.
Cons
There are bugs; it sometimes freezes and occasionally corrupts data. Some batch changes don't work consistently. The mobility aspect can be awkward. This could be because of the age of our system, which I can only speak for.
