Good product to keep track of operations

Pros

Easy and simple to capture all operational tasks. It's a great tool to help monitor regular and occasional tasks.

Cons

Work order numbers from the same PM, even if issued minutes apart, have significant differences. Last week, users complained about receiving multiple reminders for the same task with different work order numbers, making it hard to track and troubleshoot errors. I wish there was an option for a task's due date and a separate date for sending notifications/reminders to the assignee.

Pros

This software generates work orders and automated PMs. You can monitor and update parts quantities and view generated reports by category.

Cons

There's no way to filter work orders/PMs, and the filtering and UI customization are limited. The report generation is cluttered. The UI isn't very comprehensive but is easy to navigate. There's almost no ability to adjust permissions per user, and no way to make mass changes (like adding time to multiple work orders or closing them simultaneously). Generating PMs based on a meter (hours or miles) isn't intuitive, requiring manual updates for the meter status. Completing a work order/PM with a meter update doesn't update the equipment meter. Given the low cost, the lack of features isn't surprising. Overall, SS-CMMS claims versatility but offers little. It's great for small companies with few work order requests and PMs.
