“Positive start with SS-CMMS
Pros
It's an economical solution we could trial to see if it suited us. I like the email Work Order request feature and the ability to access it remotely.
Cons
It would be more helpful to have additional ways to sort views, and the ability to show PMs on the calendar in a more extensive manner.

Pros
This package is perfect for our company's size. We're transitioning from tracking on a spreadsheet to a full-fledged CMMS system. SS-CMMS lacks some advanced features, but it meets our current needs.
Cons
The name is quite cumbersome and not easy to mention in conversation. It would also be fantastic if PMs and equipment could be more closely linked, for example, generating a PM directly from a specific equipment page and displaying PM history on that equipment page.

The dashboard doesn't display upcoming PMs or due PMs (one month / one week, etc.).

Pros
This software is simple enough for nearly anyone to grasp without needing extensive training.
Cons
It really needs a separate category for "Vendor/Contractor" instead of being under Users. It would also be great to attach a picture when emailing a work order to the assigned person. Additionally, having the ability to add specific parts directly from the work order page, without needing to switch back to the "Parts" section, would be very convenient. Seeing completion information for technicians, such as completion percentage, time taken, etc. would also be beneficial. It would also be nice to have a Spanish version available.

It's excellent for generating daily Job Work Orders and serves as a great system for Preventative Maintenance within the organization.
Cons
The numbering sequences for each Job Order could be better. When printing Job Orders, it's necessary to print one by one instead of having an option to print all Work Orders at once.

Pros
SS-CMMS is affordable. My company operates on a tight budget, and without the cost-effectiveness of SS-CMMS, I'd probably resort to using a legal pad and sticky notes. I got the software up and running with some testing during the trial version. I modified some tables to better organize service report data. I use this application throughout the day on both desktop and mobile. Since my operation isn't very complex, this software suits me well.
Cons
I would prefer to create my own table definitions for types of maintenance issues, but the provided descriptions are sufficient for now. Additionally, a more robust report writer that can link indices of both open and completed tasks within a specific date range would be beneficial. Currently, I manage with two separate reports and combine them in Excel.

“CMMS is a great SAAS system if your needs are straightforward
Pros
It offers good core features and is very cost-effective. The learning curve for implementation and use is shallow, and the developer is responsive.
Cons
Some aspects of the user experience are unconventional. Email notifications for task assignees have limitations that don't quite fit with our operations, such as notifications of reassignment to a new assignee. Also, there's no ability to set post-date task due dates for scheduled auto-triggered maintenance tasks (e.g., due a week from the scheduled creation date).

Creating work orders and entering notes is simple.
Cons
When marking tasks as complete, it's a bit cumbersome. It's a two-step process and seems to take time to complete. Afterward, you have to "go back" to the screen you were on, rather than just clicking once to return to the previous screen.
