App is so easy to use and the paperless setup adds real value for the money. I haven't run into any obvious bugs or issues so far which makes the whole experience feel solid.

Pros

Love its interactive app and it just takes minutes in real time which makes meetings much more organized. It's also easy to use and the fact that it eliminates paper is a huge plus for me.

Cons

Right now there's no support for In Committee items though the team is actively working on it. Access permissions also seem a little too broad at the moment so it would be better to tighten and define roles to better control who can do what.

Pros

Having a central repository and an audit trail for board meetings is a huge win. The meeting notes are clear and it's easy to see the decision points and action items as they're recorded. I also appreciate that I can remotely handle agenda items ahead of the board meeting which makes everything feel more organized before the session even starts.

Cons

A high-level summary view of the online agenda would be a nice addition so members can check what's coming without needing to open into every detail. That said, I may not have explored all the existing viewing options thoroughly yet.

The app looks very professional and the documents are presented in a clean organized way. everything feels easy to access when you need it and the usability is spot-on... especially when you're working through multiple documents during the same meeting. The toolbar is also a big win since editing, highlights and notes can be added quickly without extra steps.

No complaints at all. Using it has helped our meetings run more efficiently and effectively.

This is a fully automated setup that cuts down the time and cost involved in preparing for board meetings, running them and handling the follow-up afterwards.

There's a bit of duplication with the reminders since they can become repetitive. Adding an open note back to the system would make it easier to confirm receipt of an action reminder and could also help reduce how many follow-ups get sent.

Great value for money. I also really appreciate that the company keeps building new features and continuously expanding the functionality which has made our board meetings run more effectively. On top of that, their customer support feels proactive and responsive, not something you have to chase down.

Cons

Scheduling can be a bit confusing and a little buggy when you're dealing with different calendar integrations (Google, Outlook, iCal, etc.) but it hasn't been a major problem for us.

Makes board meeting administration feel very organized and it acts as a single source of truth for directors and trustees around decisions, minutes and agendas. Being able to circulate reports and capture decisions outside of the scheduled meeting keeps things moving and helps ensure the board and operations stay aligned with the right context. The search feature is also incredibly useful for pulling up historical records quickly.

Cons

There have been a few anecdotal login issues for some trustees who sit across multiple trusts, mainly trouble getting into the correct company. It may be tied to having multiple email accounts across different businesses so the mapping isn't always easy.

Sometimes not every document is easy to track down and there are quite a few small, separate links that are hard to locate because the labeling isn't that clear.

It helps our management team and officers set up each meeting agenda in a structured way, including attaching the right supporting documents ahead of time. During the meeting, board members can review the agenda and materials right from their laptops which cuts down on paper a lot. Actions are tracked clearly and then archived so there's a solid record afterward.

“live minute creation really helps”

Pros

Being able to create minutes live and then tidy them up later is super easy. It's also really handy for keeping everything tracked, even when the board doesn't end up using every feature. Communication feels much more centralised and the minutes come out looking really polished and neatly formatted. The board pack itself is excellent too, at first I wasn't sure it would include everything but it actually does which I really appreciated.

Cons

Using a set agenda template has one limitation, if there are sections that don't fit what I need, I can't edit just those parts. The workaround is to delete the whole template and rebuild my agenda from scratch. It's not a big issue, just something I had to learn the hard way.

“auto-restructuring for easy editing”

So the way it automatically restructures itself whenever something changes and keeps the correct order of sections when edits are made, has been really helpful.

Cons

Once a board pack is published, there's no way to unpublish it. Also, board members receive constant email/notification messages for even the smallest updates. It would be better if there were some control over that because sometimes the "update" is just a spelling mistake.

This platform makes it simple to manage, read and annotate board papers. It also helps me keep track of my own actions, since I'm on a bunch of committees, it's really easy to lose tabs without something like this.

I'm genuinely happy with BoardPro though I'd love to have a feature for jumping directly between my own comments so I wouldn't need to scroll around to find them.

Template system is really handy for generating meeting minutes and agendas and it also helps manage interest registers. On top of that, we're using it as a document register which keeps everything organized in one place.

Minute-taking feels a bit dated. It would be better if it were easier to move from the notes section straight into the resolutions or action items.

Documents load and are easy to access and adding or attaching extra papers is just as simple. Speed of access really matters for me and this system handles it well. There's also solid storage for prior sets of documents so I can go back to earlier files without hassle.

Writing notes directly on the documents is pretty difficult. I also haven't gone through any training yet so I'm probably not using all the features the system offers.

Honestly, it's so helpful having all the documents stored in one spot. I also love that I can leave comments and everyone is viewing the exact same version which keeps communication clear and avoids confusion.
