“I loved the design”

Pros

It has a broad range of templates for putting together event flyers, training videos and plenty of other content.

Cons

I'd like to see a larger variety of free templates which would make the platform more accessible for everyone.

Pros

Creating educational materials with QR codes for my clients has been really enjoyable and I recently used Canva to build and refresh my resume as well.

Cons

At times uploading images straight into the project I'm working on can be a little troublesome though it usually just means taking one quick extra step.

Pros

I've been using Canva for years and I also have my design students work with it. It's an outstanding tool, incredibly efficient and even the customer support has been excellent.

Cons

It has worked extremely well for me and I would strongly recommend it to schools and professionals, not just for graphic design but for presentations too.

It keeps things very simple and that makes it especially approachable for new users. The branding management feature is also something I really appreciate.

“fantastic image quality”

Pros

The image editing tools are very simple to use and the language throughout the platform is simple and direct. The image quality is outstanding too,very close to the real thing, almost with a 3D look.

Cons

It would be even better with more options for editing the free images, a larger selection of vectors to add and some new video templates.

“quick AI posts and backgrounds”

Pros

Just a few clicks and I've got an AI-generated Facebook post ready to go which I really enjoy. Background removal is also fast and simple whenever I need it.

Cons

Some features feel limited when using an AI-generated image especially if I want to remove certain elements or change the background colors.

“User friendly”

Pros

It's very simple to work with and the range of skill levels it supports means most people can jump in and create professional-looking marketing materials without much trouble.

Cons

To be honest exported graphics can sometimes come out a bit more pixelated than I'd prefer. That said it's still perfectly fine for the average user and most of the time it's barely noticeable.

“Great overall”

Pros

Working in school marketing, Canva turned out to be an excellent image editing tool. It's incredibly simple to jump into and start using and the feature set feels almost unlimited especially with the school Pro subscription. It was absolutely worth the cost and I could even handle small video editing touch-ups without having to open a more advanced editing program.

Cons

The part I'm least impressed by is the collaboration side of it particularly when one or more teammates have weaker internet connections. When several people are editing the same document, updates don't always appear in real time the way they should.

“Simple to use”

Pros

Canva really stands out for how approachable it is. You don't need to be a professional designer to put together high-quality visual content. The huge template library saves a lot of time and the drag-and-drop interface feels very adaptive. It's especially useful for handling social media posts and putting together project presentations quickly.

Cons

A lot of the best templates, graphic elements and the background remover feature are locked behind the Pro subscription. Also when it comes to highly advanced or technical graphic design projects, it falls short compared with professional desktop tools.

“creative results in minutes”

Pros

Im impressed how it makes design feel effortless even when you don't have any professional design background. The drag-and-drop setup is adaptive, polished and honestly pretty addictive to use. It takes almost no time to turn a blank canvas into something that looks impressive and professionally made.

Cons

Once you start working on larger presentations or designs packed with lots of elements, it can begin to lag especially in the browser version. Another small frustration is how often you come across the perfect graphic or feature only to realize it's locked behind the Pro plan. It's not enough to ruin the experience but it does get a bit annoying.

“Helps with everything”

Pros

This is a really useful tool for editing PDFs and it also works well like a canvas for quick early-stage design or web layout visualization. It's handy for putting together rough concepts that can later be reused as a template.

Cons

There are some performance issues and the limits in the free version can affect the overall experience and may influence whether someone decides to upgrade to the premium plan.

“beginner-friendly”

Pros

Pretty much anyone could pick it up and use it right away. There are tons of gorgeous templates and I'm especially obsessed with the Nigerian and African-inspired ones. The free plan is genuinely useful too; I made content for about six months before needing to pay anything. It also works really well for collaborating with teams and clients thanks to the sharing and comment features. The mobile app deserves credit because it feels fully capable, not like a stripped-down version. Also,they keep adding new features and the AI tools are becoming impressively good. Considering everything included, the Pro plan feels reasonably priced.

Cons

Some premium elements feel overpriced when you use them often so I sometimes end up spending extra on top of my plan. If a design gets very large,around 50 pages or more,it can start lagging a little. More advanced users will probably run into limits eventually since it doesn't offer the same level of control as Photoshop even if I haven't hit that point myself yet. Some of the supposedly free images also come with very noticeable watermarks placed in awkward spots. And if you need very specific file types, the export options can feel a bit limited.

“All in one tool”

Pros

Turning ideas into polished visuals takes very little time with this product. The templates, drag-and-drop editor and brand kit help keep designs consistent even without advanced design skills.

Cons

A few of the more advanced editing options feel limited when compared with professional design software and handling lots of files or folders can get cluttered as projects and teams scale up.

“Great template library”

Pros

It's a very simple piece of software, packed with all the basic resources you need. There are also tons of free templates available to use which makes creating content much more convenient.

Cons

The video editor feels a bit laggy and it's hard to move images properly when there are multiple layers involved. Unfortunately, I also couldn't figure out how to animate images freely, assuming that's even possible.

“Quick setup”

Pros

I was able to jump right in without any training. The available templates are also really helpful when beginning a project especially when I need a bit of inspiration.

Cons

There are moments when it feels a little dated and doesn't provide many shortcuts or extra options but overall the simple editing choices make it very approachable and let you start using it right away.

“simple to use”

Pros

One thing that's been really valuable is that anyone can use it for free and since it works anywhere with an internet connection, it's accessible from just about anywhere. It comes with a ton of strong features and some of them are even better than what Adobe's design tools offer. The collaboration side is especially helpful because multiple people can work on the same design at once instead of wasting time sending emails back and forth. They can simply log in, make their edits or leave comments and notes. As a nonprofit, getting the pro version at no cost has been amazing for us and it has truly helped raise the quality of our designs.

Cons

There really aren't many downsides for me and the ones I do have are pretty minor. I'd just like to see more text editing options especially when it comes to adjusting text or importing custom fonts. It would also be really useful to have the ability to type along a line or shape, similar to what you can do in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

“Made collaborations better”

Pros

After spending a little time with it, the platform becomes very simple to use and the image library is excellent. There are plenty of visuals you can customize and turn into something completely original.

Cons

A lot of basic functions are surprisingly hard to locate especially things like folders and uploads. Every time I need to find those options, it takes me at least 10 minutes even though they're such common features that they really should be clearly visible from the home page. I shouldn't have to hunt around for them.

“Great experience”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that it keeps the projects I've already worked on so I can jump back in later, edit them and make changes without any hassle.

Cons

A few of the shortcuts aren't very clear at first. For instance, the option to put a box behind text does exist but you have to know where to find it.

“Awesome tool”

Pros

Canva opens up design to people who are not designers. It lets almost anyone create digital graphics or one-page flyers that stay on brand without needing to learn complicated tools like Photoshop. It also makes collaboration simple since you can share files, work with others and see their changes while you are designing. Also,there is a broad selection of free assets available, including stock photos and icons.

Cons

One thing I would really like to see is SVG export included in the free plan. I also think the Layers panel should be easier to access and use. It would also help if Canva added more paragraph spacing controls, such as spacing between paragraphs instead of only adjusting line spacing.

“Solid features”

Pros

It has been a fantastic creative tool for me, with beautiful templates, simple editing and plenty of customization options to work with.

Cons

It offers a lot of free templates but they do not always match what my business specifically needs. Uploading files such as videos and audio can also be a bit slow especially when the file size is larger.
