“Quick and easy to use”
Pros
I like it, it is free to use and the team and organization features are a huge plus. It feels very user friendly and putting together newsletters, backgrounds and brochures is simple. It has become the main tool our marketing team relies on.
Cons
There really is not much to complain about. It handles pretty much everything we need and considering it is free, it is hard to find any real downside.

“A complete creative toolkit”
Pros
Canva comes with an user friendly interface that's quick to get used to. It offers a huge library of templates and visuals, plus the ability to collaborate with a team. It works as an all-in-one tool for design, presentations, video and social media content and even the free version already includes a lot of useful features.
Cons
A few advanced features are only available with the Pro version. It's also less flexible than professional design software when it comes to very advanced or highly detailed creations.

“Great value”
Pros
It offers excellent value whether you use the free plan or pay for it. The platform is very simple to navigate and it gives quick access to a wide range of tools that help get just about any project finished efficiently. It also keeps getting useful updates which improve the overall experience and add fresh ways to design and create. Also, Canva's collaboration features are among the best I've used for working with different teams on creative projects.
Cons
Many detailed editing controls are not there as they are with some other programs but considering the price, that trade-off usually feels worth it.

“Free features work well”
Pros
I'm a bit biased when it comes to it because I absolutely love this tool. It's incredibly generous with users especially when it comes to the free version.
Cons
One thing I do think could be better is the availability of AI features. It is already very generous overall particularly for free users but I wish it offered a bit more access to artificial intelligence tools.

“access from anywhere”
Pros
Designing in Canva feels very simple even without being an expert in graphic design. It has a huge variety of modern templates that save me a lot of time and let me create attractive designs in just a few minutes. I also appreciate being able to use it on both my phone and my computer which makes it much more convenient to work from anywhere.
Cons
Some advanced features, like background removal or access to more video resources, are only available in the paid version. When the internet connection is slow, the platform can take a while to load images or templates. It also doesn't let you fine-tune certain details with the same level of precision as professional programs like Photoshop. Also, the free storage is limited so if you upload a lot of files, you eventually have to delete some or pay for the premium plan.

“Packed with features”
Pros
This software has been excellent to use because it's very user friendly, works quickly and includes lots of useful features even in the free version.
Cons
The part I liked least about it is that some important features and certain images are only available with the paid plan.

“designs for every project”
Pros
Putting together designs with this drag-and-drop tool feels very simple. It works well for quick, one-off projects and it also lets us reuse the same styles to keep our social media posts looking consistent and cohesive.
Cons
Image library is massive which is helpful but you really have to watch the image resolution. Some pictures end up looking blurry or pixelated when they're used at a larger size.

“Awesome!!!!”
Pros
It has been really useful for creating flyers and promoting our products. Our design team is very skilled with the platform and even though design is not my strongest area, I can still jump in and make edits so everything lines up better with our vision.
Cons
What I'm not happy with is the pricing setup. If my team needs access to the same project, we have to pay extra which feels limiting. It would make a lot more sense if they offered a company or business account that could be shared across multiple employees without additional charges.

“Templates are great”
Pros
Getting started with it feels very natural even if you're new to design. It comes with a massive collection of templates for social posts, presentations and marketing content which helps speed things up a lot. There's also a wide selection of fonts, graphics, photos and other elements so it's easy to build something creative without feeling boxed in. The collaboration tools are another big plus because they make working on team projects much more organized and efficient. Also, it works on both desktop and mobile which means I can put designs together from almost anywhere and the regular updates and added features keep it feeling flexible and up to date.
Cons
It is very helpful overall but some of the better features are locked behind a paid subscription. I've also noticed it can slow down from time to time when working on larger projects and a few design elements feel somewhat restricted unless you move to the upgraded version.

Pros
It has completely changed the way advertising is done and made the whole process much more approachable for people who don't have a strong tech background.
Cons

“feature-rich”
Pros
Thanks to its huge library of templates, its faster now to put content together. It's also a budget-friendly option for creating social media posts even when you don't have much graphic design experience.
Cons
That said, while it includes a few quick filters and basic photo adjustment options, those tools still feel somewhat limited. The platform continues to improve but having more blemish removal and correction features would make it even better.

“great customizations”
Pros
There was an excellent range of templates and I was able to find the one I wanted just by searching by subject. I also really appreciated being able to customize different parts of the templates, like adjusting the colors and sizes to match what I needed.
Cons
A lot of the more professional templates were only available with the premium version and at times the software was quite slow and took a while to load properly.

Pros
Getting around the platform feels very simple and backups happen ultra fast across all devices that are logged in. It also comes with a very large selection of elements, plus plenty of stock photos and videos to work with.
Cons

“creative freedom at its best”
Pros
It has been a total game changer for me. As both an educator and an artist, I'm genuinely amazed by how much creative freedom it gives me. The platform feels very simple, is simple to navigate and includes so many of the features people usually look for in much more expensive design software.
Cons
I'm really excited to see how the AI features in this app develop over the next few years. At the moment some of the text generation tools still have a long way to go when it comes to turning ideas into visuals that make sense but the progress has been happening pretty quickly.

“we love it”
Pros
Using it feels incredibly simple and approachable even with all the advanced tools it offers. As a teacher, having free access is a huge plus and I really appreciate how they've made such sophisticated software feel so user friendly.
Cons
The video editing part still feels rough and needs more work. It's a bit dated right now and while I was able to complete a video successfully, I wouldn't choose to make another one until it improves quite a bit. For promotional videos or content to share with our school, parents and community, I'd rather rely on other software for now. Still, I'm hopeful it will eventually catch up to the rest of it.
