“Quite handy”

This is a very complete app and really simple to use.

Plan's price felt a bit expensive to me especially since it only adds a few extra things beyond what's already included in the free version.

Pros

Putting together high-quality graphics is surprisingly effective with this especially if design isn't really your strength. I mostly rely on it for client work by building templates that help them create content that stays on-brand. I also use it for my own social posts whenever I need to publish something quickly while I'm out and about. The stock library and built-in elements are especially helpful when I need to find assets fast.

Cons

It's not on the same level as professional design software like Adobe Creative Cloud but it still serves its purpose well for certain tasks.

It is really simple to use even if you're just starting out. You don't need to be a design expert to put together polished-looking visuals. There are tons of templates, images and graphic elements available for free or at reasonable prices which saves a lot of time compared with other tools in the same category. It works for just about everything, presentations social media posts, resumes, posters and more. Teamwork is also very convenient since multiple people can work on the same project online and share creations without any hassle. Another big plus is that Canva is available everywhere, being web-based and accessible from almost any device.

Cons

That said customization is still more limited than with professional software like Photoshop. It also depends heavily on having an internet connection. Without access online, it is basically unavailable unless you use the app offline and even then the options remain fairly restricted. Premium elements can get expensive as well. While a lot of content is free, many features and assets require payment and there are quite a lot of them. Another downside is that designs can end up looking too similar since so many people rely on the same templates unless you take the time to personalize them properly.

This works really well for both people just starting with design and those who already have experience. The platform is simple to use so putting together impressive designs feels quick, practical and effortless.

Even though it's very user-friendly and especially helpful for beginners, one drawback of the app and website is that many templates, features and design options are behind a paywall which can make some types of work harder to complete.

Getting started is very simple and the templates available make it possible to create all kinds of graphics even if you're new to design.

The free version feels limited pretty quickly so you end up needing to upgrade to the paid plan sooner than expected.
