quick learning

Pros

Getting started with it was simple and the learning curve felt very light. It's simple to use overall and exporting designs is fast and convenient.

Cons

Something that could be better is the inability to print directly from it. To do that, I have to go through the "Share" option first.

templates are good

Pros

The templates are a huge highlight for me,I really love them. There are tons of features to work with and sharing and collaborating with others is very simple.

Cons

Only downside is that some of the more powerful features feel like they should be a bit more affordable.

sparked my creativity

Pros

Completely won me over. I don't just enjoy it, I absolutely love everything about it. I never expected to become interested in digital design or creating anything online but Canva helped me discover a creative side I didn't even know I had. It really made me feel like I could be a digital artist.

Cons

Honestly there's nothing about this program that I dislike.

team likes it

Pros

It has been amazing for me. It lets me create graphics, catalogs, images and plenty of other resources that help strengthen my digital presence. With its drag-and-drop setup, it's simple to bring ideas to life which is perfect when you don't have advanced design skills.

Cons

Up to this point, I really haven't run into any issues with it. If anything, it has helped me become more productive because the platform feels very adaptive to use.

positive experience

Pros

Getting started with it feels very simple which is one of its biggest strengths. Even the free plan comes with plenty of practical features and the paid version gives you even more room to work especially with options like resizing designs and adding your own brand colours.

Cons

One thing that crosses my mind at times is whether it could end up taking away some work from graphic designers although I do come from a creative background and understand the basics of design. It's also a little frustrating that when I try to download just one design, it often selects the whole series instead.

incredible

Pros

The creativity really stood out. It felt innovative and generated imaginative options for my project that gave me useful directions to work with.

Cons

This platform generated creative ideas well but the navigation felt a bit confusing and made the creative process less fluid than expected.

great for design

Pros

It makes designing feel almost ridiculously simple. The platform practically does half the work for me and it always seems ready with the right option for whatever I'm trying to create. Whether it's a flyer social post, resume or something else, there's usually a template waiting. I just choose one, add my text, switch up a few colors when I want to personalize it and within less time than it takes to brew coffee, I've got something that looks professionally made. Another thing I really enjoy is how accessible it is across all my devices. I use it on my laptop while working from home, on my phone whenever inspiration hits while I'm out and on my tablet when I need to make quick edits on the move. I can begin a project on my laptop, step out for coffee and keep working from my phone without missing a beat. It really feels like carrying a mini design studio around with me and I honestly didn't realize how much I needed that kind of flexibility until I started using the tool. At this point, it's made me feel like a designer even though that was never part of the plan and I have no intention of going back.

Cons

At the same time, it definitely has its limits. It's fantastic for quick and attractive designs but it's not the kind of tool that gives me complete control over every tiny detail. A lot of its appeal comes from how simple it is and that simplicity naturally means some advanced customization is missing. The free version also comes with a few frustrations. It clearly saves some of its best templates, graphics and icons for the Pro plan so I regularly run into features that look tempting but are locked unless I pay. Another downside is how recognizable many of the templates have become. Once you start using it often, you begin spotting those same layouts everywhere. If I don't take the time to really customize my designs, they can end up feeling a little generic or formulaic. It's not impossible to make something unique but it does require extra effort if I want my work to stand out.

fit for teachers

Pros

The templates are one of my favorite parts and they're very user-friendly. I really appreciate being able to start with someone else's template and then customize it so it feels like my own. Even better, as an educator I can upload lesson plans and other resources through the app and add my students to my account which lets us work on the same project together at the same time. It's a very efficient setup and my students really enjoy using it.

Cons

A few of the AI features haven't been as strong as I expected but I'm hopeful they'll keep improving them over time and continue adding new features to the platform.

rich features

Pros

Feels very approachable to use, thanks to its clear interface, AI-powered design help and connections with a wide range of apps. It makes it much simpler to create distinctive QR codes, choose the right layout for different social media posts and put together detailed documents. The Pro version also gives you access to a huge collection of stock videos, images and photos which adds a lot of value.

Cons

Getting help from their customer support can be frustrating. Reaching a real person usually means working through multiple chatbot layers and doing a lot of searching before you finally get through and even then the issue is not always resolved. Also, third-party apps sometimes crash for no clear reason, with no timeline from support on when things will be fixed. There are also plenty of elements that do not offer the same level of customization you would get from Adobe products although that may be the tradeoff for having a simpler platform.

Pros

This application has been a real game changer for me as a user. It comes with a lot of features and there's plenty you can do with it.

Cons

Because it includes so many different features, it can feel overwhelming at times and take a while to fully understand and use efficiently.

Pros

The editor is simple to work with, collaborating with teammates feels effortless and the range of templates gives us plenty of options to choose from.

Cons

Data visualization part could use some improvement because it still feels less user-friendly than the rest of the platform.

easy for content creation

Pros

Once you get used to it, the platform is very simple to work with and there's a huge range of content available to add into designs. It's also really useful that files can be saved in different formats depending on the purpose, whether that's for a website or a presentation.

Cons

Does feel a bit more limited when it comes to completely free-form design compared with something like Photoshop. Also, sharing projects with people who haven't used it before can be a little tricky since they may need some time to learn how to edit properly.

excellent value

Pros

Between the strong value it offers and the availability of a free account, this platform is a really solid option. It's also beginner-friendly so getting started doesn't feel complicated at all.

Cons

Since it is a web-based graphic design tool, you need an internet connection to use it. The free version is still very useful overall but it doesn't let you export images with transparent backgrounds.

awesome software

Pros

One thing I really love about it is how simple it is to use. It comes with tons of templates, images and other cool elements that help you create visuals that really stand out.

Cons

That said it does have its limits. If you need heavy-duty photo editing or very advanced animations, it's better to go with a more professional tool.

Pros

Getting started with it was very simple and the platform feels extremely simple to use, even for someone without any graphic design background. Also, the image bank is very useful and there's a wide variety of templates available.

Cons

creative freedom

Pros

So easy to use,,, Getting started with this program was very simple too and I've really enjoyed the wide variety of templates it offers. There's also plenty of room to be creative with the fonts, icons, design elements and pictures available.

Cons

I'd love to see more online training so users can learn everything it is capable of. Adobe Creative Cloud includes training as part of its membership and I wish it offered something similar.

easy to use

Pros

Really practical overall with the added benefit of being usable on a smartphone through the app. It offers a lot of features which makes it very useful day to day.

Cons

It would be better if the visuals were more adapted for French users especially around holidays. It would also help to have daily visual suggestions based on the international or awareness day being observed.

i like it

Pros

Having all the templates and built-in assets in one subscription is really valuable. The selection of GIFs, graphics, music, photos, videos and similar elements makes it convenient to put content together without needing multiple platforms.

Cons

Even when I choose the highest-quality export settings some images still look a bit blurry once they're posted on social media. That might partly be related to Hootsuite compression but I've also seen it happen when not publishing through Hootsuite. It's not a dealbreaker for us or a reason to leave the tool, just something worth mentioning. Another downside is that it is designed around RGB rather than CMYK so printed files can end up looking different in color. Because of that, I rely on Adobe programs for print materials and other high-quality documents or images, while it works better for social media content where quick access to stock icons, graphics and similar assets matters more than top-tier output.
