“serious copyright risk warning”
Pros
At first glance, it really seems like a strong tool that people enjoy using especially the Pro version. Still, I can only urge caution some of the crown-marked images it provides can lead to copyright violations which can become very dangerous for a business. So this is a very serious warning to everyone.
Cons
Right now all I can do is warn people about Canva Pro. It appears to have major copyright issues, meaning this Australian company is effectively "selling" image material in Germany through its Pro version that it does not actually own. The problem is that the company is not the one being sued, the user is, even though they would have no way of knowing. And trying to take legal action against it is about as realistic as trying to sue Facebook. Under German copyright law, good-faith acquisition does not apply either. That means I can only strongly caution anyone against using Canva Pro material. It feels like an international corporation is deceiving well-meaning users. In the worst case, the only option left is deleting social media profiles because every past post containing disputed it images would have to be removed retroactively which is practically impossible. Stay away. Smaller businesses can be pushed to the edge of ruin by this.

“good for office content”
Pros
It has been amazing for what I need. Putting together slides and videos for our office monitor is really simple and I use it for everything from holiday messages and birthday shoutouts to employee of the month videos and plenty more.
Cons
The only issue I've run into is with certain videos that have a lot of photos moving off-screen. In those cases, I sometimes can't edit or swap out the pictures that start out of view at the beginning of the video.

“templates are good”
Pros
Picking a design in Canva is really simple and I still have the freedom to tweak things when I want to make it my own. There's a wide range of choices available and I really appreciate how many built-in products and design options it already offers.
Cons
Would love it if some of the paid features were available for free although I'm also thinking about subscribing so I can unlock even more options.

“Collaboration made easy”
Pros
In my experience, it has been really simple to work with and the range of integrations it offers makes it even more useful. It's simple enough that my teens can use it without any trouble, while still giving me the tools to create unique designs for my company's marketing. Sharing ideas and collaborating with others is also very convenient. The brand management features have been especially helpful for our Golden Tax Relief Team.
Cons
I'd still love to have more video features available. It would also be nice to see additional options for things like favicons and smaller pixel-sized images.

“great platform”
Pros
It is an online design and visual communication platform that lets me create and edit images and designs quickly and without much hassle. I can use it for free or choose a paid plan and it helps me make business cards, flyers, checklists, posters, invitations and more. It also gives me ways to improve photo quality and add text which makes it really useful for different kinds of projects.
Cons
The free plan comes with usage limits and doesn't really offer a proper option to create something completely from scratch.

“I recommend it”
Pros
Launching an online business feels a lot less overwhelming with it. It's very user-friendly and the ready-made templates make it simple to edit, customize and put together designs without needing advanced skills.
Cons
One thing that's really disappointing is the graphic quality. Even with a paid plan, the visuals still aren't available in HD which is quite frustrating.

Pros
Getting started with it is simple and the large template library gives plenty of options to work with. I also appreciate that the platform keeps improving over time and the pricing makes it a cost-effective choice.
Cons
Every now and then the platform loads a bit slowly. It also feels somewhat limited when it comes to advanced design features compared with more professional-grade software.

“Canva speeds up my projects”
Pros
It is part of my daily routine for editing Instagram reel videos and putting together class assignments. One thing that really keeps me using it is how user-friendly it is, along with the huge range of templates available. It's very convenient for video editing and having ready-made templates for different kinds of work, like the Journey Map template I used recently, helps me finish everything much faster.
Cons
Really strong overall but I do wish it included more advanced tools especially for video editing. For instance, I wasn't able to find a typewriter text effect and that would have been really helpful. Also, its text highlighting options feel limited compared with platforms like PicsArt or MS which give more variety for text effects and highlight styles.

“polished projects with minimal effort”
Pros
Getting started with it has been very simple and it really makes my projects look polished and impressive.
Cons
One thing I'd still want is more control over text boxes. For example I'm not very happy with the way backgrounds are handled inside a text box so I've had to use multiple text boxes just to create the look I'm after.

Pros
Very approachable for beginners, with barely any learning curve. You can simply drag and drop components wherever you want them.
Cons
Every now and then there are small issues where components don't line up quite right after exporting the design to PDF. It's usually fixable with a bit of tweaking.
