“fantastic templates”
Pros
With the huge selection of templates and stock content, putting together visuals feels fast and efficient. The newer AI tools have also been a really helpful addition.
Cons
The filing structure feels a little dated. Setting up an organized system can take quite a bit of time especially if you try to do it after you've already created a lot of content. That part could definitely be improved and made simpler.

“I like it”
Pros
Getting started with this is really approachable especially for anyone without much design experience. The templates give people a really solid place to begin and having clipart plus stock photos built right into the program is fantastic!
Cons
I do wish the bleed settings for print were handled better.

“perfect for us”
Pros
Canva offers a really wide range of tools which is something I enjoy a lot. It's practical to use, works quickly and one of the best parts is that it includes free tools anyone can access.
Cons
I do think the free version could include more features for people who are just getting started with the app, even if it's only temporary so more users can have access to them.

“so good”
Pros
Putting together everything from documents to graphics feels adaptive and the platform has enough power to handle a wide range of projects. It's very much a DIY tool that pretty much anyone can pick up and use. Even the free version remains useful and fully functional for getting real work done.
Cons
There isn't much to dislike. The only downside is that if you do need a paid plan, the pricing isn't exactly cheap.

“Its ideal for us”
Pros
The program feels really versatile and there's a lot you can build and create with it. Having so many templates available is also a big plus.
Cons
I don't care for how it saves multiple copies of the same project. It can quickly leave you with way too many versions of the exact same file.

“everything is good”
Pros
Putting together creative documents feels much more manageable with this software and it really helps organize the whole process.

A lot of the strongest features are locked behind the paid version so you have to spend more to get the most out of it.

“It's good”
Pros
Has been a favorite of mine for years, whether I'm putting together work newsletters or making personal invitations. Right now, I'm even using it to design and print my own wedding invitations which says a lot about how much I trust it.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the tools was a bit challenging at the beginning and I struggled to find my way around. Once I got the hang of it though, navigating everything became much more manageable.

“good design tool”
Pros
It has completely changed the way I handle design work, whether I'm putting together family history book templates or creating social media graphics. It's very user-friendly so it works well for both beginners and more experienced designers. With the drag-and-drop setup, huge template selection and access to both free and premium design elements, I can put together polished, professional-looking designs without needing complicated design software. Collaboration is also one of Canva's biggest strengths. The ability to share projects and work on designs with clients or coworkers in real time has been incredibly helpful especially for quick revisions and feedback. Also, the export options are flexible and produce high-quality files in different formats which has worked really well for both print and digital projects.
Cons
There are a few things I'd still like to see improved. Organizing files inside folders can get messy when you're juggling a large number of designs and the platform sometimes slows down on bigger projects. I'm also not a fan of the newer click-to-edit approach. Even with those minor frustrations, the benefits outweigh them by a lot. It has become an essential part of my business, whether I'm building detailed genealogy pages or creating promotional materials. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to simplify their design process.

“AI tools are great”
Pros
Everything feels very user-friendly and simple. I can put together designs without any hassle, even from my iPad and the available templates are a really nice bonus. The part I enjoy most though, is the AI toolkit especially features like the background remover.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is having the option to choose the exact image dimensions when downloading, rather than being limited to preset multipliers.
