“Love the design tools”

Pros

Canva lets you do a lot especially when it comes to putting together videos and presentations.

Cons

I do wish the photo editing was more capable and that some features weren't locked behind the Pro version.

Pros

This software has been really useful for creating and designing presentations, editing photos and videos and putting together business cards and resumes. It also comes with built-in AI features which make the whole process faster, more convenient and more productive.

Cons

Haven't run into any problems with it at all. Everything has worked really well for me.

Creating digital products in it has been really enjoyable and the platform is very simple to use.

One thing I'd still love to see is a paint tool that lets me erase specific parts of an image.

Its easy to create high-quality marketing materials, graphics and photo edits feels simple with this especially if you don't have a professional graphic design background.

A downside is that when I click the back button, it exits the project so I have to search for it again.

It offers a wide range of templates which makes starting and finishing new projects much more efficient. The AI image generator has quickly become one of my favorite features.

Sometimes when editing a project can be frustrating. I also wish the platform included a larger selection of fonts.

It still doesn't offer the same level of tools and advanced features you'd get from professional software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

Mock-up choices are somewhat limited. When it comes to more advanced or highly specific design work some of the tools you need may not be available.

Putting marketing materials together doesn't require any prior design experience which I really love. It's also nice being able to tweak the templates and personalize them so they fit exactly what we need.

A few of the templates do come at an extra cost but there are still plenty of options available to choose from.

Anyone used to advanced design software may feel a bit restricted especially when comparing it to more efficient tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

Putting together polished flyers and other marketing materials takes just minutes, thanks to the very simple interface. Also, they generously provide it to us for free as a non-profit.

Even before I moved to a paid plan, this worked well for me for years,close to a decade on the free version alone. I only upgraded this year once it made sense to unlock more materials. It's fun to use and very simple and I've created all kinds of things with it, from flyers for school courses to newsletters for my company.

Cons

The most frustrating part is probably organizing and sorting the images I upload.

“team-friendly”

Pros

This software has been a big help for our team when we need to create sneak peek images for clients. The preset image folders, ready-made templates and collaboration options make the whole process much more organized and efficient. Also, the newer AI background editor has made photo and presentation editing incredibly simple.

Cons

One part that has been frustrating is the PandaDoc integration. Rather than letting you choose an existing design and import it directly, it makes you start from scratch. The only workaround is copying and pasting from an existing design which feels pretty dated and inconvenient.
