marketing growth keeps climbing

Pros

My digital marketing results have gone up noticeably and the growth is still continuing.

Cons

I do wish the Pro plan pricing would come down a bit over time based on how long someone has been with you.

endless design options

Pros

Getting started with this software is simple and the tutorials really help. You can put together all kinds of design graphics and products in just a few minutes. Whether it's a business card, a poster or a t-shirt, there are plenty of tools available to create lots of different versions.

Cons

The free version doesn't offer much and feels pretty limited. To unlock the full set of features, you really need to pay for a license.

I really like it

Pros

I really appreciate how much free content is available because it gives me plenty of useful ideas and inspiration for creating my own virtual content.

Paid sections can sometimes feel overpriced compared to what they actually offer.

user-friendly app

Pros

Using the application feels very simple and the interface is highly adaptive which makes everything simple to navigate and use.

Cons

A downside is that some features are still locked. I understand the app needs a way to make money but I really think the resizing function is important enough to be available in the free version.

fantastic templates and branding tools

Pros

There are tons of templates to work with and the level of customization is impressive especially when it comes to adjusting colors to fit your brand. It makes putting together cohesive, professional-looking marketing materials really simple. They also provide free Pro accounts for nonprofits which is a huge help since multiple team members can use it and we still get full access to the Pro features. Being able to share projects with coworkers and download files in different formats is something I really appreciate too.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see improved is more flexibility with guidelines. When I was designing tri-folds, I wanted to add an extra guideline but I was limited to only the built-in tri-fold guides.

lots of free features

Pros

This tool is very functional and easy to use and it is also available for free.

Cons

What bothered me was that the best images and some key tools, like image resizing, are locked behind the paid Pro version.

quick designs

Pros

Canva is by far the simplest tool I've used for editing photos, building presentations, creating greeting cards making invitations and plenty more. Pretty much anything you can imagine putting together can be created in it fast and they seem to roll out new features almost every month.

Cons

The background remover works fairly well but once you need to go back and revise something, it doesn't hold up as well as Photoshop. I also feel like Canva Pro is a bit overpriced for what you get especially since a lot of the paid features can be found for free on other sites. For example, PNGs and stock images are often easy to download elsewhere at no cost. The background remover being locked behind the paid plan is another downside and while Photoshop's version is better, Photoshop itself is expensive and not realistic for everyone. Overall, Canva Pro feels costly for what it offers. The mobile app is also kind of dated though not terrible so I'd recommend using the desktop version instead.

good feature

Pros

There's a wide range of features included and the platform feels very versatile overall.

Cons

Interface is not adaptive at all. As an Apple user, it felt very unfamiliar to me and I've had to keep googling things like "how to... on Canva" even for pretty simple tasks.

works well

Pros

One thing I really enjoy about it is the huge selection of templates it offers organized by both size and design type. That saves me a lot of time and effort whenever I need to create something. I can choose whether I want to make a cover, a banner, a reel video and even select the specific social network or platform I'm designing for.

Cons

Although it includes plenty of pre-made elements that let me put together a design in just a few minutes, when I want to use more advanced effects or filters, those tools just aren't there so I have less flexibility to customize my designs further.

marketing lifesaver

Pros

There are tons of design options available and the paid version has been really useful for our company's marketing team. Everyone can access it through one shared marketing account and we don't have to buy separate design licenses.

Cons

It's still not as flexible as Adobe Creative Cloud when it comes to design capabilities and there's no way to save files in vector format.

Its worth it

Pros

It comes with a huge collection of architectural templates and high-quality graphics which really helped me present my ideas in a clear and visually appealing way. The drag-and-drop layout feels very simple so moving around the platform and finding the right templates was easy too. It really supports the design process, even for people who don't have prior design experience.

Packed with possibilities

Pros

Getting started with it feels very natural for new users and it offers a surprisingly wide range of capabilities. It also connects really well with different software which makes it even more useful. Also, there are templates for occasions I didn't even realize needed one.

Cons

A lot of the better features are locked behind the paid plan and the price feels pretty expensive.

Canva Pro is great

Pros

Having access to a Canva Pro free trial was a huge plus for me. It comes with really impressive features and getting into the Pro version through the trial was a nice bonus. The platform feels very user-friendly, the navigation is simple and overall it's pretty self-explanatory to use.

Cons

At the beginning, I was a little unsure about how some of the tools worked but that was quickly resolved and it didn't take long to figure everything out.

impressive layout tools

Pros

The layout system and feature behavior feel consistent throughout the entire platform which makes it much easier to get comfortable with. Using layers along with the click-and-drag resize and move controls keeps everything very approachable and after learning the basics, it's possible to make more precise edits with the more advanced tools.

Cons

There are so many apps added now that finding the one you need can be confusing at times.

Great for flyers

Pros

Designing posters, flyers, edited photos and promo content with this app has been really enjoyable. The layout is simple to navigate and everything feels accessible which makes working on projects much more pleasant. I also really appreciate being able to share my work with other people when we need to collaborate on something together.

Cons

The free templates and design elements are nice but I do wish there were a little more access to the pro templates. It would be nice if the app offered a few premium options for free once a month or even let us watch an ad so we could use a pro template once or twice during that month.

fantastic free design tool

Pros

Overall, the app delivers excellent quality. The design tool performs really well, feels very simple to use and manage and the fact that it's free makes it even better.

Cons

It would be even better with more project format options, along with clearer guidance on how to use gradients and improve the cut marks in prints.
