“canva wins”
Pros
Canva is part of my daily workflow for design and creative projects. Since it's web-based, I can access it easily and it comes with high-quality assets for making presentation videos and website graphics. The platform is extensive enough that I can even produce a full video in it, including text-to-speech. I also rely on it for creating ebook covers for clients and marketing videos whenever those orders come in. It's a really useful tool overall.
Cons
When it comes to image editing, I don't rely on it because it still misses many of the advanced features needed for full photo editing. For most image editing tasks and more advanced graphic design work, I still turn to Photoshop.

“professional designs also available”
Pros
This has been really useful for creating product images, templates and even NFT artwork. It gives me the tools I need to make my ideas look polished and professional which has helped a lot with the designs I want to produce.
Cons
One downside is that its image library feels limited at times so there are cases where I can't find the specific images I'm looking for.

“content creation must-have”
Pros
After using it for more than three years, we've been able to produce an amazing amount of content thanks to the wide selection of images, photos, backgrounds and videos. It's honestly a must-have for anyone creating content for themselves or for clients. We also really appreciate that the social media templates are already set up so we don't have to figure out image dimensions every time we make something. And having the Custom Size option available is an added bonus. Thank you!
Cons
We do use the YouTube thumbnail templates but it would be really helpful to have a broader mix of images there. A lot of the options currently available feel very alike in style.

“reliable design support anywhere”
Pros
Being someone who isn't particularly design-savvy, it has been incredibly valuable for creating digital assets for clients. I regularly put together podcast covers and YouTube thumbnails and the tools Canva offers make it really simple to produce consistent visuals week after week. Features like background removal, filters, fonts and layout options are all simple to work with and easy to find. Since it's web-based, I can also open my projects anywhere I have an internet connection which fits perfectly with the remote nature of my business.
Cons
There are definitely a few image editing features missing compared with programs like Photoshop or Illustrator. Considering the price, that's understandable. Still, every now and then I go looking for a specific tool, realize it doesn't have it and end up needing to come up with a workaround or use another method.

“canva does it all”
Pros
Has been such an amazing app to use. It's very user-friendly especially if you're just starting out and I can practically use it for anything. Having so many features packed into one app is a huge plus for me. I still remember creating my very first freelance resume with Canva, even though I had absolutely no experience at the time. The app guided me through the process and helped me get it done which felt really exciting. Another thing I appreciate is that it offers both free and pro plans. I started out with the free version as a beginner and that was enough to make me really love the app. Graphic designers should definitely have this because it makes the work much more manageable. I also like that unfinished projects are automatically saved as drafts so I can always come back later and continue where I stopped.
Cons
Even though the app is really good, it does have its issues with glitches and bugs. Sometimes the screen just turns completely blank and white with no features showing, even when my internet connection is stable. Aside from that, it's still a nice app to use.

“complete design toolkit”
Pros
This tool has been an excellent tool to work with. It's flexible, simple to navigate and packed with assets and features that make design work much more manageable. The asset library is one of its strongest points and most of the time I can find exactly what I need. The interface is also very adaptive so it doesn't take long to feel comfortable inside the platform. When you're handling a lot of projects and files organization becomes really important and Canva does a beautiful job helping keep everything in order. The template selection is also very useful because there's usually something close to what you want to create which makes it much easier to get inspired and start designing. Also, the support team is excellent, they respond quickly and are genuinely helpful whenever assistance is needed.
Cons
It can feel a little restrictive if you're used to advanced tools like Photoshop or Figma. Even so, my impression is that while those tools are still necessary for more complex work, it remains extremely useful for simpler tasks because it saves a huge amount of time compared to them. It's not the best option for pixel-perfect design work and a lot of the graphics in the asset library don't really look professional so it can take a while to dig around and find something usable. The mock-up customization is also somewhat limited, you can choose a mock-up and place your image into it but if the result isn't exactly how you want it, there's not much you can adjust.

“creative templates”
Pros
Getting started with this app feels very simple especially for people who do not have any background in graphic design. It makes it possible to create personalized designs which gives users the freedom to show their creativity. There is also a free version with plenty of basic features and really good templates for all kinds of occasions. Another strong point is the real-time collaboration which makes teamwork much more practical both at work and in academic settings.
Cons
Free plan does come with some limits, such as not having full access to every template or design element. Certain features and templates are only available through a paid subscription. Exporting designs in high resolution is also restricted to paying users. Also, loading can sometimes be slow when working on complex designs or large documents.

“all the great design tools”
Pros
One of the best things about it is how adaptive and guided the platform feels to use, along with the broad selection of free tools it offers to users.

The part I find less appealing in it is the text editing and formatting which still feels outdated and could definitely be improved.

“Free access”
Pros
App comes with features I really enjoy and having a free version available is a big plus.
Cons
Wish the free version included a few more functions, such as access to some better images that are currently only offered in the paid plan. Still, I understand the platform needs to generate revenue which is why those extras are part of the premium version.

“love it”
Pros
It's affordable, quite powerful and fully online so I can get to it anytime from almost anywhere. I'm able to create whatever I need from different places and on multiple devices, whether that's a phone, tablet or desktop which is why I'd recommend this program to others.
Cons
Image quality is good and it supports importing high-resolution photos but it doesn't perform well with videos. The Windows app also isn't very good.

Pros
Getting started with this app is very simple, even for someone who is completely new to it. I also really enjoy the paid option since it unlocks a lot of designs and removes the watermark.

“simple design tools”
Pros
App's interface feels very user-friendly and the drag-and-drop functionality makes creating designs quick and convenient. It also supports exporting in multiple formats and can resize creatives as needed. The background remover is another helpful feature that makes editing much more practical.
Cons
At times, the image quality drops after export and the visuals end up looking pixelated. I've also noticed that for certain niche-related search terms, the available design elements can be limited or not very relevant. Expanding and improving that element library would make the experience even better.

Pros
For the price, this platform gives you a lot. It comes with an image editor, a presentation editor and even a basic video editor and they keep rolling out new features all the time.
Cons

The template feature has been a favorite of mine because it gives me plenty of design options to choose from. Navigating the software also feels very simple so I can use it without any hassle.
