Pros

Back in my college classes, it turned out to be a really useful tool. I used it a lot in stats and marketing courses, where we regularly created surveys to collect data. It made the whole process simple and enjoyable and it came with plenty of features to work with.

Cons

Weren't many downsides. Once in a while, we ran into small glitches with media like pictures we added but those issues were usually resolved pretty quickly.

Pros

Putting together forms and quizzes with this is incredibly simple. I can create a questionnaire in just a few minutes without dealing with any frustration or extra steps.

Cons

The one area that feels limited is the styling. When I want a form to stand out more or match my brand the customization options seem a little too restrictive. A few more personalization features would make the overall experience even better.

Collecting data with this software is very simple and the results can be analyzed in Excel or other formats without any trouble. It also comes with plenty of simple-to-use features that make creating and managing things much more convenient.

Hasn't introduced many new features and adding more would really help it stay competitive in the market.

One thing that really stood out to me with it was how simple it is to use. Setting up a form, survey or questionnaire takes very little time, even if you don't have any technical background and the interface feels clean and user friendly. I also appreciated how well it works with Google Workspace especially Google Sheets. Responses get collected automatically and organized in real time which makes it convenient to review information, monitor trends and share results with others. Also, features like different question types, basic logic such as response validation and branching and simple sharing by link or email make Google Forms a very practical tool for gathering information quickly.

The part I liked least is that its customization and advanced features are fairly limited. It does a solid job for basic surveys and data collection but the design options are pretty minimal so it's difficult to fully match your branding or create forms that look more polished without relying on add-ons. I also felt that the logic and analytics tools were somewhat basic. If you need more complex surveys, like advanced branching, conditional scoring or detailed reporting, it can start to feel restrictive. Compared with more specialized survey platforms, it doesn't offer the same level of efficient analytics or customization which can be a drawback for more detailed or professional-level data analysis.

Getting started with it was incredibly simple and entering data from my documents feels simple and hassle-free. The workflow and process automation are outstanding and I was honestly surprised by just how good the customer support is. They get in touch right away if you need extra help which adds even more value. The pricing is excellent, the survey design tools are very accessible and there are plenty of features and options to choose from.

Up to this point, I haven't run into any problems with it which has been such a relief since I rarely have spare time to go back and fix things. Also, Google is always willing to help whenever I need assistance with my forms.

Something that really works well is how customizable the questions are and the tool even suggests the most suitable format for each one, whether that's multiple choice, short answer and so on. We've been using it internally to gather staff preferences on office-related topics and it has been very practical and simple to work with. It doesn't take much effort to set up and the way it collects data makes the results simple to review, either as individual responses or as an overall summary with graphs and similar visuals. It has been extremely useful for keeping workflows moving and collecting feedback efficiently.

Only thing I'd really want improved is being able to sign in and use the g forms app for free without the limited response refresh restrictions.

Something I'd still want is the ability to change the actual background of the form and it would be really useful to have a mini calendar option built in. That way, people could just pick the dates they're available which would have helped a lot when collecting availability. Other than that, I think the overall look is really nice.

One annoyance is the form link. Even when I use the built-in shortened URL, it still feels too long and random so I usually end up using bit.ly instead. Since the link has no clear pattern and stays awkward to share, I'd really like the option to customize the URL or have a QR code generated.
