“Powerful collaborations”
Pros
G. Forms gets a lot right especially considering it's completely free with no limits on forms, questions or responses. That alone makes it stand out compared to a lot of other form builders that lock important features behind paid plans or cap submissions. Another big advantage is the live integration with Google Sheets since responses sync automatically in real time and make it much easier to analyze data, apply formulas or export everything when needed. The interface is also very beginner-friendly, with a simple drag-and-drop setup that lets you put together a clean survey, quiz or sign-up form in minutes without needing technical know-how. The quiz functionality is another strong point especially for teachers or anyone doing quick assessments because you can set answer keys, enable automatic grading and provide instant feedback. Also, real-time collaboration works just like other Google Workspace tools so multiple people can build the form, edit questions and review responses together at the same time.
Cons
There are still a few limitations worth mentioning. The visual customization is pretty basic so you're mostly restricted to simple color themes, a small set of fonts and a header image. It's not the best fit if you need strict branding, custom CSS or a more modern and highly designed layout. The conditional logic is also fairly limited since it only handles basic branching and doesn't offer more advanced multi-variable logic, calculated fields or smarter skip paths based on several previous answers. Another missing feature is built-in payment processing so unlike platforms such as Jotform or Typeform, you can't directly collect payments through Stripe or PayPal inside the form. File uploads can be awkward too because respondents need to sign in with a Google account which adds friction for anonymous use cases and the file size and storage limits can be restrictive. There's also no native offline mode, meaning people need an internet connection to submit responses which can be a problem for fieldwork or offline events. Finally, the built-in analytics are fairly basic, with only simple summary charts available so for deeper reporting, filtering or visualization, you usually have to move the data into Google Sheets or another analytics tool.

“Templates are great”
Pros
During my time as a Marketing Executive Intern at Hackett & Hackett International Group Limited, I got to work this tool quite a bit and came away with a very positive impression. It's a practical free platform with no real usage restrictions which makes it especially useful for day-to-day work. Another big plus is that there's no premium subscription pushing features behind a paywall. I also appreciated how well it works with the Google Office Suite and the drag-and-drop builder makes creating forms much more convenient. Also, it includes a wide selection of templates for resumes, surveys, application forms and other needs.
Cons
It does come with a few drawbacks. The design is fairly basic and there aren't any real branding customization options. It also doesn't support direct payment integrations with services like PayPal or Stripe so you have to rely on third-party add-ons for that. Another limitation is the lack of advanced security settings on free accounts, such as HIPAA-compliant encryption, along with missing spam protection and password-protection features. Lastly, there's no offline mode so you need an internet connection the whole time you're using the service.

“works so well”
Pros
It's still one of the form builders I keep coming back to. The forms it creates are very user-friendly and simple to send out to just about anyone.
Cons
Wish it offered a few more options for conditional logic in the questions. That's the one thing that would make me use it even more often.

“handy forms with auto sheets”
Pros
Really useful free option for putting together simple forms and collecting data without much effort. One thing I appreciate is that it automatically creates a Sheet to store all the responses it captures.
Cons
The downside is that there are not many customization choices when it comes to the form's appearance, such as color schemes, branding options or using different fonts.

“Simple and easy to use”
Pros
Putting together a form in it is very simple. I can create one quickly, send it out right away and the real-time updates make it really convenient to track responses as they come in.
Cons
Customization side feels a bit restricted especially when I want something that looks more polished or matches my branding better. It would also help to have more flexibility with some of the layout options.

“Trustworthy google suite integration”
Pros
Working with the Google product suite is a big plus and sharing content with others is very convenient. Since it's cloud-based, availability is consistently reliable and I can access it whenever I need it.
Cons
User experience still has room for improvement. The adaptive form template could also be used better to make the platform feel more interactive and provide more useful insights.

“effortless surveys with live tracking”
Pros
Creating surveys, forms and questionnaires in it feels really simple and the whole process is fast and hassle-free. Sharing a form is simple, responses come in instantly and the data stays organized automatically. The connection with Google Sheets is also a big plus because it makes reviewing results and working with others much more convenient.
Cons
It does a solid job for basic surveys and general data collection but it still feels limited when it comes to deeper customization and visual design. It would be even better with more built-in options for advanced forms, reporting and logic, instead of needing extra tools for those features.

“Helpful AI”
Pros
Putting together client or internal questionnaires is really fast with this and it works just as well for attendance tracking at events, gathering product feedback or capturing key details throughout our sales and delivery stages. Since it's already included with Google Workspace, it feels like an extra win on top of a platform we already rely on as a company. The newer AI feature has also been genuinely useful because it helps me build different types of surveys quickly and with good results.
Cons
Connecting it to other parts of our workflow, like the CRM or even other Google Docs processes, wasn't very simple for me. That could partly come down to needing more training but I still had trouble figuring out how responses could flow into other important business processes.

“Really makes work easier”
Pros
So simple. I didn't need any training to get started and I was able to build a form and send it out within minutes. Responses are collected automatically which saves a lot of time compared to gathering information by hand. It also works really well with Google Sheets so reviewing and organizing the data is convenient. Overall, it's a dependable option for surveys, feedback collection and registrations without much effort.
Cons
A con with it is that the design and customization choices are pretty limited. It works well for basic forms and surveys but it starts to feel restrictive when you need something more polished or want advanced options like deeper conditional logic and better reporting. Larger forms can also be harder to manage and some integrations need extra tools or workaround steps.

“efficient forms for everyday tracking”
Pros
Collecting information from users and team members is much simpler with it. It works really well for IT support requests, maintenance checklists, equipment inventories and feedback surveys. The form builder feels user friendly, responses are automatically organized and exporting everything to Google Sheets makes tracking and reporting very efficient. For a free tool, it delivers excellent value.
Cons
It does miss some of the more advanced workflow automation, conditional logic and customization features you get with premium form builders. More detailed reporting options and stronger branding capabilities would also make it more useful.

“simple incident tracking win”
Pros
When it comes to collecting minor incident reports or end-of-shift compliance checks, this tool keeps things refreshingly simple. Being able to include multiple-choice questions for classifying breakdowns like mechanical, electrical or software saves a lot of time.
Cons
Downside is that the form design still feels quite plain and doesn't have a polished, professional look if these questionnaires need to be shared with external clients or auditors to assess our service levels.

“Live sync is great”
Pros
One of the best things is that it's completely free, without any hidden restrictions and it updates in Google Sheets instantly in real time.
Cons
The part I like least is how generic the forms look. It's fairly hard to match workplace branding because you're limited to only basic color and font customization.

“user-friendly”
Pros
Creating forms with it is quick and simple and it does a really nice job of keeping everything in one place. It lets you build customized forms, gather responses and stay organized without much effort. The platform is simple enough for just about anyone to use but it still includes plenty of useful features.
Cons
Design and customization side could improve a bit but overall, great product!!

“5 stars from me”
Pros
What I value most is how incredibly simple it is and how quickly you can launch a form or survey. Since it's fully web-based and works across devices, response rates tend to be extremely high. Also, the native automatic integration with Google Sheets is fantastic for reviewing responses in real time without having to manually export files.
Cons
Its biggest limitation is the design and visual customization which feels fairly stiff and structured if you need the form to match a complex brand identity perfectly. More advanced conditional logic is also missing and it would be better if native integrated payments were available instead of having to rely on third-party add-ons.

Pros
Putting together a form in it is really simple and I can have one ready within minutes and share the link right away on my social media.
Cons
At times it can feel a bit limited in terms of features. The available options are not always enough although overall it still works well for creating contact forms.

“one of the best!”
Pros
Building forms has been the most simple experience I've had with any form builder. Since it's part of the Google ecosystem, it connects smoothly with tools like Google Sheets.
Cons
I honestly don't have any real complaints to mention. Everything works the way it's supposed to and I keep coming back to it because it's so simple to use.

“flexible survey creation”
Pros
Creating surveys with this has been really simple, whether it's a basic form or something more detailed and complex. It handles that range well and usually comes together without much trouble.
Cons
One thing that could be better is the reporting side. The stats and charts from survey results don't go as deep as what some competing tools offer.

“forms and signing right on my phone”
Pros
Using it has been fantastic. I can print forms and sign them without the hassle of going somewhere else to print anything and the whole thing can be handled right from my phone too.
Cons
Being able to send or receive forms and sign them without having to go to a business location has been really helpful and it even works well for school homework.
