“easy data collection”

Pros

Putting together forms is very simple and it makes collecting responses fast and efficient. It works really well for everyday business needs and survey tasks especially considering how much value it offers for the price.

Cons

Design options for surveys feel fairly limited, customer support is pretty basic and it doesn't include the kind of advanced automation you get with more professional platforms.

“interface is amazing”

Pros

True to the Google style, the interface is clear, user friendly and very simple to use. You can get the hang of it almost immediately.

Cons

The forms you can build stay fairly basic and only let you collect essential information. If you need something more advanced, I'd recommend tools like Tally or forms.app.

“flexible forms with simple setup”

Pros

Getting started with it is simple and making edits later is just as simple. I also appreciate having multiple answer format options since I can choose the one that best fits the type and length of response I need.

Cons

Every now and then I overlook one of the publishing steps and don't realize the form still isn't fully live. I'm also not a fan of having to scroll through all the responses to track information unless I'm ready to export everything to a spreadsheet.

“live tracking really works”

Pros

It's so easy to put together surveys, quizzes and feedback forms with it. Since it's free and works smoothly with other Google Workspace apps like Google Sheets, collecting responses and reviewing the data is very convenient. The real-time response tracking is also a big plus when you need to gather information quickly.

Cons

Downside is that the design and customization options are fairly limited so forms tend to look more basic than those made with other survey platforms. It also doesn't include more advanced capabilities like complex logic or deeper analytics unless you rely on add-ons.

“Smart branching”

Pros

Love how simple it is to pur forms together and the way everything connects directly with Google Sheets is a big plus. A survey or data collection form can be up and running in just a few minutes. The built-in conditional logic is also really useful especially for page branching based on someone's answers which helps create more customized paths. Since it's cloud-based, collaborating with a team is convenient and the automatic summary charts for real-time responses are genuinely helpful.

Cons

Customization on the design side feels fairly limited when you compare it with more advanced tools like Typeform or Jotform. It's not very flexible for things like complex CSS styling, custom fonts or more refined branded layouts so that can feel a bit restrictive. There's also no real native support for advanced mathematical validation fields or more detailed file upload restrictions which can be frustrating when building specialized technical surveys.

“Keeps events organized”

Pros

Running sign-ups through it has become something I rely on constantly. It's really convenient for event registration because I can keep several forms active at the same time and still find each one quickly when I need it. Being able to export responses into a spreadsheet is a huge plus and I can adjust that sheet however I want afterward. It's also very useful that I can choose which fields are required and which ones are optional.

Cons

There honestly aren't many downsides for me but if I had to mention one, it would be file uploads. If I need people to send pictures or documents, the process seems to depend on using Google Drive and I've wondered whether there could be a simpler way to handle that.

“form creation and sharing made easy”

Pros

Putting together forms, surveys and similar documents with it takes almost no time and sending them out is just as quick. The biggest advantage is how little effort it takes to build a form and start gathering responses which is exactly why this tool is so useful.

Cons

Not much to complain. It does its job really well although there are more advanced situations where other tools perform better. One clear example is forms that need a signature and having that feature in it would be a real game changer.

“great value for your money”

Pros

Using it feels very simple and user friendly. It lets you build forms and surveys without needing any prior experience which makes the whole process much more accessible. The integration with Microsoft Excel is also really useful because it helps collect data securely and automatically. Also, its interactive features reflect good product quality and make the price feel well justified.

Cons

It is not really a major drawback but the limited selection of fonts and visual objects leaves room for improvement if you want designs to look more polished and professional.

“Excellent!”

Pros

Collecting customer feedback and updates from our field sales team has been really simple with Google Forms. It works especially well for surveys and the level of customization is a big plus. I appreciate how adaptable the workflow is especially when setting up if/then paths that send people to different questions based on their answers. Another feature that has been incredibly useful is the ability to export everything to this platform which makes it simple to organize, track and tabulate the data gathered from each form.

Cons

One thing I'd still love to see improved is the visual design of the forms themselves. I wish the layout were more customizable, more like an email template, where images and content could be placed beside sections or embedded in different positions instead of everything being stacked vertically.

“I recommend it to everyone”

Pros

Getting started with it takes very little effort and the free or low-cost access makes it even more appealing. Collaboration is simple, response tracking happens in real time and it connects nicely with other Google tools. It works really well for surveys, registrations and collecting feedback.

Cons

Customization options are somewhat limited, the reporting features are not as advanced as some other tools and it is not the best fit for complex workflows or deep analytics.

“Easy data collection tool”

Pros

It has been a real gamechanger for data collection. It makes the whole process simple, accessible and affordable. It works well on any device, the interface is simple to use and there's hardly ever a reason to reach out to support because it just works. It's also useful for creating simple survey formats, including yes-or-no questions.

Cons

Every product usually has some downside but it has been doing exactly what I need and at this point I honestly haven't come across any cons yet.

“Live responses are great”

Pros

Creating questionnaires and gathering responses was fast and simple. The interface felt clean, sharing the link took no effort and people were able to complete the form without any confusion. It handled basic sign-ups and surveys really well and the real-time updates made it simple to keep track of incoming responses.

Cons

The downside with it was that it felt too limited for event management. There were no built-in reminders, ticketing features or proper registration tracking which meant I had to manage those parts manually. It was fine for simple questionnaires but it wasn't structured enough for student activities or for keeping track of who actually intended to attend.

“custom forms in minutes”

Pros

Putting together a custom form takes only a few minutes and there are plenty of options that let me design it exactly the way I want.

Cons

I'd still like to see a few more ways to structure questions. Having the option to create a two-part question would be a really helpful addition.

“Charts really help”

Pros

Creating forms with it takes very little effort which is a big plus for me. In my role as a Software Development Manager, I use it to collect all kinds of information like bug reports, team feedback and feature suggestions. It works quickly in the browser and doesn't cost anything which makes it even more useful. I can review responses through clean pie charts or export everything directly to Google Sheets. That convenience saves me from entering data manually and makes my job much easier. Sharing is simple too since anyone can open the link on a phone or laptop without running into problems.

Cons

A few parts of the design could definitely be better. There isn't much flexibility when it comes to changing the layout and the overall look feels pretty basic. Because of that, building a form that looks highly professional can be challenging. Editing also becomes time-consuming when the form is long and packed with questions. Also, I'd really like more advanced skip logic options because setting up complex surveys can sometimes feel unnecessarily confusing.

“forms that everyone can use”

Pros

From an elementary school standpoint, Google has completely transformed how we collect information for the main office across all kinds of needs. We rely on it for everything from parent event sign-ups to surveys for staff and students. Being able to customize the forms and clearly communicate how to use the link with our community has made it one of the most widely accepted ways for us to gather responses. We also really value that both administrators and respondents can access it from almost any device, whether that's a computer, tablet or phone.

Cons

Honestly there's nothing we dislike. Overall, it's one of the best Google tools we use.

“i liked the integrations”

Pros

One of the best things about it is that you can build forms and collect responses or surveys at no cost and it's quick to get everything up and running. The interface feels very user-friendly when creating and customizing forms and the integration with Drive, Gmail and Google Sheets makes the whole workflow even more convenient. It also works well across different devices which is a big plus.

Cons

It does fall short when it comes to white labeling and branding options and it's missing some more advanced capabilities like complex skip logic and certain field types such as e-signatures.

“Keeps work organized!”

Pros

Something that keeps me coming back to this tool is how simple it is to use. I've used it in a variety of work situations and each time I've been able to put together forms quickly which helps me collect and organize information in a fast and efficient way.

Cons

Even though I really enjoy using it and appreciate its simple design, that same simplicity does come with a few limits. On its own, it doesn't offer the kind of in-depth data analysis I sometimes need.

“saves so much time”

Pros

The interface feels very user friendly so putting together a form only takes a few minutes even without any technical background. Even someone who has never used this kind of tool before can figure out where everything is right away.

Cons

Compared with other alternatives that focus more on design, the customization options are fairly basic. If you want something with a highly polished visual style or a more interactive experience, it can feel a bit stiff.

“practical forms with fast sharing”

Pros

It won me over for how simple and immediate it is, within just a few minutes, you can build professional-looking forms without any technical skills. The integration with Google Drive and Sheets is also really useful since it automatically collects and helps analyze responses which saves a lot of time. I also appreciated being able to customize questions, section logic and response types so it works well for both quick surveys and more structured questionnaires. Also, sharing by link is incredibly fast and accessible for anyone. The fact that it's free and cloud-based makes it an extremely practical and versatile tool overall.

Cons

On the downside, the graphic customization is fairly limited, the design options are quite basic and don't allow you to create forms that feel especially distinctive. The more advanced features, such as complex logic or detailed analytics, also fall short compared with other more professional tools. Also, managing responses can become less user friendly when you're dealing with large amounts of data. It also lacks more advanced native integrations with external tools and stronger automation options. Lastly, the absence of more sophisticated permission and security controls can be a drawback in more structured business environments.
