Pros

This has become one of my go-to classroom tools because it's simple to work with, very student-friendly and flexible enough for all kinds of activities. I use it for building exams, review work and extra credit assignments. My students always get excited when I bring out G Forms since they know there's a good chance some bonus points are involved.

Cons

I don't have any complaints about it. As a teacher, it's turned into an essential part of how I run my classroom.

Pros

Using it through our Google Workspace for Education account means it costs us nothing which is a big plus. The automatic collection of responses saves me from having to chase paper forms and that alone cuts down a lot of hassle. I also really appreciate being able to check who still has not replied and send reminder emails directly from the platform.

Cons

What's missing is the ability to schedule a form to open at a specific time so I have to remember to send it out myself. The formatting tools are also fairly basic and do not offer much flexibility. Another frustration is that parents cannot save a draft before submitting which tends to bother some of our less tech-savvy families.

Putting together forms with it is quick and simple and collecting responses feels hassle-free. The layout is clean and the built-in tools are genuinely helpful when you need to create something fast without complications.

It can still feel a bit limited when it comes to customization and design. It also misses some more advanced functionality so it's not the best fit for building detailed or highly complex surveys.

Putting together surveys, quizzes and other data collection forms in it is very simple, even without any technical background. The layout is clean, user-friendly and simple to navigate which makes building a form fast and sharing it with others just as simple. Being able to track responses in real time and have everything automatically organized in Google Sheets saves a lot of time and cuts down on manual work.

Cons

It is definitely convenient but the customization can feel a bit restricted when you need something more branded or visually distinctive. Some of the more advanced options, such as conditional logic and design flexibility, do not go as far as what you get with dedicated survey tools. It also depends a lot on having an internet connection which can be frustrating in certain situations.

To create a form and to send it out to hundreds of employees is really simple with this. It's been useful for scheduling, building surveys, handling customer support and it comes packed with plenty of features. Overall, it delivers a lot for the price.

Whenever I need to collect information quickly, it is the tool that gets the job done without adding extra hassle. It removes most of the complexity from data collection and fits smoothly into the Google Workspace ecosystem. The part I appreciate most is how naturally it works with Google Sheets since responses flow in instantly and make real-time analysis possible without any manual exporting. The drag-and-drop builder feels very user friendly so there is barely any learning curve which makes it practical for everyone from students to project managers. Also, it includes a strong set of features like unlimited responses and collaborative editing at no cost, offering professional-level usefulness without the paywalls that many competing platforms put in the way.

What holds it back is how fixed the design feels and how little customization it offers which can make forms look generic and not very aligned with professional branding. It works perfectly fine for basic surveys but once the requirements become more advanced, the limitations start to show. The lack of deeper logic branching, the restricted file upload sizes and the fact that it cannot accept payments natively can all become significant obstacles.

Also, our district can restrict certain features when needed for cybersecurity and that added control is a big plus.

Having a HIPAA-compliant option in it is a huge benefit for solo private practice providers like me. If I ever need a backup way to collect patient information, this would absolutely be my first pick. It's incredibly user friendly to work with and the survey builder is essentially drag-and-drop which makes the whole setup process feel even more simple. There are also plenty of options for automating workflows and processes. Considering what it costs me to access, I'm genuinely impressed by the value it delivers. I haven't had to reach out to customer support but based on the quality of the product, I'd expect that experience to be excellent too.

Every now and then, when I duplicate an item and try to drag and drop it, the movement can feel a little outdated. honestly that may be more user error on my end than an actual issue.
