“So great”

Pros

Typing fast is where Grammarly really helps me most becauseit checks my wording as I go and catches grammar issues right away. I use it almost every day for emails and letters and it has saved me plenty of times when a sentence sounded correct in my head but came out awkward on the screen. Even while writing this review, I left out a word in one sentence and Grammarly flagged it, underlined the problem, corrected it and made the sentence read properly. I also appreciate that it clearly highlights the exact phrase or word that needs attention. It works well as both a spell checker and a grammar checker. Another feature I value is that it explains why a change is being suggested soit is helping me learn while it fixes my writing. Grammarly Business is also flexible since you do not have to use every feature it offers. If all you want is grammar checking, you can adjust the browser settings and turn off things like spell check. It adapts well to what you need.

Cons

Since Grammarly is automated, it does make incorrect suggestions from time to time. I still think it is useful as a backup but it is important to review the flagged issue yourself and confirm it is actually a mistake before accepting the change.

One of the best parts of using Grammarly is how effortless it is to work into my routine. It fits right into Word without any hassle and the Chrome extension is really useful when I want to start a new document and scan it for grammar mistakes in just a few seconds. The Outlook integration has probably helped me the most since it has caught plenty of embarrassing typos before I hit send. Even the feedback feels enjoyable, when everything is error-free, it gives you a little congratulatory message that makes the experience more fun.

Cons

The price is a bit high although in my case it has absolutely been worth paying for. If all you need is simple spelling and grammar correction, the built-in tools that already come with programs like Word will probably be enough.

Accurate spell check and strong sentence construction are the features that matter most to me. The product is very simple to use and it was simple to explore from the start. It also fit into my existing business process without any issues and the switch to this program was effortless because I was able to adapt to it very quickly.

Honestly I don't feel like anything is missing and I wouldn't suggest changes because that might only make the program more complicated. Nothing about it has been difficult to use; it's clear, simple and easy to understand . Integration was never a problem either and I don't miss the previous product at all. I'm genuinely happy and excited to keep using it.

Writing in English has always been a bit challenging for me and sometimes my message doesn't come across as clearly as I want it to. Even after reading books like "The Elements of Style," I still felt like something was missing. Grammarly helped close that gap and made my writing feel more effective and polished.

It does have a few compatibility problems with certain apps soI usually end up drafting documents on the website first and then copying them over.

Honestly I haven't run into any problems with it. The browser and email extensions work really well and nothing about the program has given me any issues so far.

Pros

Grammarly has basically become my go-to grammar tool. I've relied on it for over two years now because it's consistently accurate and dependable. It does a really good job suggesting better word choices, including article usage and connecting words and the recommendations usually fit the sentence very well. I also appreciate how fast it catches spelling and grammar mistakes in real time and applying the correction is just a quick click. I added the free version to Google Chrome and it works across almost every site I use, even when I'm writing emails.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is better support for medical terminology since that would be a huge help for those of us working in healthcare and the medical field.

Pros

Using this software feels very practical because it starts working the moment you begin typing. It automatically picks up that you are writing and checks your words and sentences in real time, warning you whenever it notices spelling or grammar mistakes. It also suggests stronger alternatives when a sentence sounds unclear or could be written in a better way. With the recent update, it can even analyze your text and show the overall emotion behind it. You just need to glance at the logo in the lower-right corner of the text box, if it turns green, your writing is ready to send or publish.

Cons

Getting access to the better sentence suggestions requires a premium subscription. It is around $12 per month whichfeels expensive in my currency (TRY). Another downside is that Grammarly only works in English and does not recognize when I am typing in another language. Because of that, when I write in Turkish, it marks a lot of words as mistakes. It does not cause a major problem for me but it would still be much better if it could detect that I am writing in a different language.

After trying quite a few writing tools, Grammarly still comes out ahead for grammar checking. The tone detector they added is another really useful feature because it helps identify how a piece of writing may come across. The plagiarism checker is also a big advantage and it feels more accurate than others without the usual restrictions. Its spelling autocorrect is fast, reliable and confident, fixing mistakes as you type without needing manual approval every time. Another strong point is that all the features are available across platforms, whether it's the desktop app, Outlook, browser extensions or the mobile keyboard. Also, the weekly email insights about writing habits, tone usage, top mistakes and progress are a nice touch and genuinely help build confidence.

Having used both the free and paid versions, I rely on the free plan for personal work at home, while my company uses the premium package. It provides detailed analysis reports, detects tone well and catches grammar issues across emails, websites and client web content. I can also go back and review past reports to see where Grammarly helped improve my writing over time. Another thing I really appreciate is its built-in editor whichmakes writing more convenient and helps refine the text with smart suggestions. Around 95% of the time, those suggestions are accurate and genuinely improve the wording and it is especially helpful with punctuation that is often missed in everyday writing. The business plan includes more advanced checks and extra features compared to the free version. It also lets you switch writing preferences depending on whether you want British or UK-style English whichis quite useful.

I wouldn't say there are any major problems because the software is very simple to use.

Out of all the editing tools available, Grammarly is the one I've actually kept using and fully worked into my daily routine. The spellcheck is incredibly accurate, punctuation and periods are often caught before I even notice them and it does a good job predicting and correcting things when they're used the wrong way. It points out important sentences, gives suggestions, offers helpful guidance, the whole package. One of the best parts is how well it fits into practically any device. Whether I'm typing in texts, documents, chats or anywhere else words are involved, it's right there working in the background. It really performs like a built-in writing assistant. It works just as well for business as it does for personal use too. I've used it for proofreading, for proposals and for everyday writing and it honestly feels like having an editor alongside me on every device. At this point, it's hard to fully explain unless you try it yourself. and yes, I even used it while writing this review, Grammarly says my tone is friendly, informal and confident.

The one downside for me is the price. I know that won't bother everyone but if you're on a budget, it can definitely feel expensive. I felt the same way at first soI completely understand why that would be a concern for some people.

Beyond basic spellcheck, Grammarly feels like the kind of writing and editing tool every writer or editor hopes to have. It goes much deeper and offers far more customization than any other writing or editing software I've used before. You can even build style guides in Grammarly whichreally shows it was designed with the writing and editing world in mind. Since I hand le most of my writing and editing myself, I lean on Grammarly a lot to lighten the workload especially when I need to polish content and send it out fast.

Cons

Honestly there's nothing about this software that I dislike. It feels pretty much perfect as it is. If I had to point out anything at all, I'd only say it would be nice if the writing app had a bit more personality, like theme options, dark mode or different fonts.

Something I appreciate is that it's always running in the background and catching small issues my other online platforms tend to miss, like grammar and punctuation mistakes. Some of the suggested replacements have also taught me things about grammar I didn't know before soit ends up being a useful learning tool while I work. The newer Tone Detector is also a nice feature because it helps remind me when I need to sound more professional and when I can relax the tone a little.

Cons

At more than $25 per person each month, it feels expensive for what is still a fairly limited benefit. It's also not foolproof, I've seen it make pretty obvious errors when the context gets a bit more complex. Another downside is that it doesn't work across every platform sothere are definitely times when I want Grammarly to give my writing one more check but it simply isn't available on that particular site.

What really stand s out about it is how well it catches nearly every kind of spelling and writing mistake. The browser extension is also very convenient and it works across different browsers without issue. Even the free version is very useful, while the paid plan offers even more value especially if you want to improve your English skills in a more serious way.

It has been an excellent tool for helping me communicate clearly in a way that's easy to understand and tailored to my specific audience. With its different settings for teams, groups, emails and sections, it really offers plenty of useful options and makes it hard to find a reason not to use it.

Cons

We've had almost no problems with Grammarly at all, aside from needing to add a few names to the dictionary.

Pros

Running an online photography business means I'm constantly writing contracts, client emails, website content, private blog posts and plenty of other things sothis program has honestly been a lifesaver. It catches spelling mistakes, grammar issues and even improves sentence structure so my writing comes across much more professionally especially when I'm rushed and don't have a lot of time to sit and edit everything myself. I really love using this program!

Cons

I really don't have many complaints about it. The only thing is that you have to be willing to accept that your writing may not always be at its best and sometimes all of us need a little extra help with that.

One feature I keep coming back to is the browser extension. It's quick, dependable and accurate and the best part is that it doesn't slow Chrome down at all. It really helps me improve both my grammar and overall writing. I can use it while typing emails, chatting in messengers, filling out forms and pretty much anywhere I write online. The message tone detection is also one of the most valuable parts for me.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about but every now and then the tone detection reads a message in the complete opposite way from what was intended. That can be a little frustrating especially if the person receiving the message also uses Grammarly and ends up trusting the software's interpretation over the actual intent.

Plenty of review sites ask whether you'd recommend a product and Honestly most people just say yes without ever actually mentioning the software to anyone. Grammarly is one of the rare exceptions for me. I use it both at work and in my personal life and they keep rolling out features that make it more useful over time. Anytime someone brings up writing anything at all, emails, reports or other documents, I usually jump in and tell them to try Grammarly especially since it's so simple to install. A lot of my coworkers ended up paying for the premium version after starting with the free one and seeing how helpful it was. One of the newer tools I've really appreciated is the Tone Detector whichgives instant feedback on how my emails and other professional messages might come across. It has definitely helped me avoid misunderstand ings with coworkers and vendors.

Cons

Something I still haven't worked out is whether there's a way to save commonly used or unusual words without having to create a style guide. Where I live, a lot of places have Native American names and Grammarly constantly flags them as if they need to be corrected. I can always hit ignore but I'd much rather be able to save those words permanently.

Grammarly has become the one tool I've truly put money into for my writing business and it has been worth it. Docs and Mac integration weren't there at first but now those options are finally available and working well. The premium suggestions often show me a completely different perspective on my writing whichreally helps me develop my ideas. That fresh angle is honestly what I appreciate most about Grammarly.

Cons

Every now and then, the suggested comma changes feel a bit cliched and the dangling modifier alerts can be especially confusing. In those moments, I'm left unsure about what actually needs to be improved whichgets frustrating. It would help a lot if the tool gave more explanation or clearer guidance behind those corrections.

Hand ling daily blog posts became so much better with this software. Our HIDDEN is brilliant at storytelling and coming up with inspiring ideas but with such a packed schedule, editing blog posts and emails personally was always a challenge. Also, there was a large amount of staff content to review soit really mattered that the first draft arriving on my desk was already close to copyedited. This software made a huge difference by catching those small grammar and spelling issues for my HIDDEN whichallowed him to produce polished, well-written content much faster.

Cons

The downside, as with any editing tool, is that it still cannot match the stylistic judgment of an actual human mind. Even so, Grammarly is far ahead of Microsoft Word when it comes to editing support.

Back in college, Grammarly was already part of my routine sobringing it into a professional setting felt like a natural step. I use both the web app and the Microsoft plugin every day and it does a very good job catching spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes. Getting it set up was simple and using it is just as simple. Over time, it has genuinely helped me strengthen both my writing and overall communication skills.

Cons

A feature I really wish I could rely on more is the Google Chrome plugin becauseit's a fantastic add-on. The downside is that it doesn't align with the security requirements at many organizations whichlimits where it can be used. It also has trouble learning proper nouns I use all the time, including my name and keeps suggesting unnecessary corrections.
