Pros

Plenty of things make Grammarly worth using every day whichis why I've come to rely on it. - It runs fast and unobtrusively on my device. Setup is simple and getting started takes almost no effort. Once it's on, it just stays in the background and gives accurate suggestions and feedback without getting in the way. - Compared with other tools I've tried, Grammarly has been the most dependable and precise. I rarely disagree with the recommendations it gives and it often catches mistakes that similar tools completely miss. - It works on multiple platforms, including directly in Chrome. Their compatibility with G Suite tools has also gotten better overall and that's been really nice to see. - I can customize it by adding words I use often that aren't commonly recognized. - One feature that really stand s out is how it can catch correctly spelled words that are used in the wrong context. That's genuinely impressive. - I also appreciate the Chrome extension they offer. It's free and more limited but it still does everything I personally need it to do.

Cons

Even though I think Grammarly is an excellent tool and would absolutely recommend it, I do have a few concerns: - The biggest one is the price. Premium is honestly expensive whichis why I recently dropped back to the free version. The free plan isn't as full-featured but it still covers what I need. - As far as I know, mobile support is still pretty limited. That would be a valuable improvement especially since so much work email now happens on phones. - It also doesn't always work perfectly with certain platforms. I've noticed glitches with systems like Blackboard whicha lot of colleges use. I can't say for sure whether that's Grammarly's fault or Blackboard's but it would definitely be good to see that issue fixed.

Pros

Chrome extension i quite handy... it runs while I write marketing content and thats a great help. I keep it on for land ing pages, emails social posts and pretty much anything else I'm drafting. Since I do misspell words now and then, it's nice that it catches those mistakes right away. It also points out typos and basic grammar issues when something is written incorrectly. It's obviously not the same as having a real person review your copy soit won't catch everything but it does a solid job with spelling and simple grammar. It definitely helps polish my writing and saves me from the usual comments telling me to proofread whichis helpful when I'm trying to produce a lot of content and don't have time to check every line myself.

Cons

There are still some bugs that get in the way. On this site, for example, I intentionally made a few small mistakes while writing this review. The wrong word was underlined but when I clicked the suggested correction, it would briefly change and then switch right back soit never actually fixed it. I've seen the same thing happen in ActiveCampaign and sometimes the plugin even disrupts the formatting there. Another issue comes up when I'm writing directly inside land ing page builders like Clickfunnels. If I leave the red underlines alone instead of correcting or ignoring them, the page can actually save with those red marks still visible. Then visitors end up seeing the underlines on the live land ing page even if they don't use the extension themselves or at least that's what I've been told. It also occasionally flags words that are actually fine in my usage. So while it's helpful, there are definitely still some glitches that need attention.

It fits right into Microsoft Word and Outlook like a plug-in and the browser extension is really hand y for fixing email text while writing. Installation was quick, there's a free version available and it does more than just basic corrections by also suggesting synonyms and antonyms from the dictionary. Being able to choose the tone and intended audience is a big plus because it makes the content feel more effective and better targeted.

I've been using it for quite a while and honestly haven't run into any issues so far.

The free version is very useful for catching basic issues like spelling mistakes but if you want deeper help with rewriting and improving the structure of your content, you'll need to upgrade and pay for it.

The accuracy is surprisingly nuanced too especially with tricky things like "its" versus "it's." Another thing I really appreciate is the rank report that breaks down how many mistakes you make and what types they are. Honestly it makes my writing come across much more polished and intelligent than it would otherwise. Being free is a huge bonus. Since it runs as a plugin, it works directly in the browser, at least in Chrome from what I've used and also shows up in places like Mail, Basecamp and Hubstaff. It really feels like it's available adaptively wherever I need it.

Cons

Nothing to complain about. I genuinely love this product and even if I ever changed my mind, I could always mute it or remove it completely without any hassle.

Pros

The UX feels fantastic. It's incredibly adaptive to navigate and use. There are plenty of editing and proofreading tools available but Grammarly still stand s apart because of how strong its algorithms are. The suggestions it makes are usually very accurate and the explanations behind each recommendation are genuinely helpful and often informative.

Cons

Scoring feature is useful overall but it can be a little frustrating at times. If you choose to reject a suggestion, the tool may lower your overall score for that piece whichdoesn't always feel fair. It's not a major issue though it can occasionally make a writer second-guess whether to stick with a certain phrase, word or voice.

Honestly I don't have any complaints about Grammarly. I use it every single day and it has made a big difference in the quality of my writing in both my personal and professional life.

After spending some time with the basic version, moving up to Grammarly Business felt like an obvious next step. I use the web app for certain tasks especially longer writing projects and having it also catch issues in my emails social posts, form entries and more has been incredibly useful. It has saved me from making so many mistakes just by running everything through Grammarly.

Cons

I haven't run into any real downsides. The free version doesn't flag some grammar issues, like passive voice but if anything, that just makes the upgrade feel more worthwhile.

Cons

As with a lot of similar tools, it occasionally throws out an odd or incorrect word suggestion. On the plus side, Grammarly lets you add and learn new words soonce your internal acronyms are saved to its library, it stops misinterpreting or changing them.

Using it feels very simple, the color coding and built-in suggestions make it simple to stay organized and keep my writing polished. I also appreciate that it does more than just catch spelling and grammar mistakes. It points out overused words and repetitive phrasing too and offers better alternatives so my writing sounds stronger. The quick click-to-fix options are really convenient and if Grammarly flags something I meant to write that way, it's just as simple to ignore or turn that suggestion off.

Cons

My only real complaint is that it doesn't work with every app or program I write in. That said, I can still copy and paste my text into Grammarly, review the suggestions there and then paste the corrected version back where I need it.

There's no need to open the program separately after finishing a document because it works during the typing process itself. It's also flexible since if Grammarly doesn't recognize a word while you're typing, you can add that word to the dictionary.

Cons

Right now, it can only be installed through browsers or used directly on the Grammarly website. There's still plenty of room for improvement especially with features like a full desktop version that works across any program where typing is involved. It would also be much more useful if it were available offline. Even so, it definitely feels like a product with room to grow further.

Pros

For nearly three years, this tool has been a dependable companion for all of my writing. It automatically catches grammar, spelling and punctuation errors whichsaves me the time I used to spend proofreading before sending work to clients. Grammarly Business is the only writing product our company relies on for producing error-free reports and it has made my work much more manageable.

Cons

One thing that really bothers me is the constant commercial ads popping up on my screen. They can be quite irritating.

Compared with regular word processors like Microsoft Office, Grammarly really shines when you get down to the finer points of grammar. About the only downside I've noticed is that Grammarly doesn't seem to support the Oxford comma, it doesn't even suggest it. Maybe that's just where things are headed but I'd still prefer to see it offered as an option. Another small issue is that Grammarly is still catching up with American slang soif you write casually, you may notice it trying to "fix" words or sentence structure that were intentional.

Even the free version is really impressive although I use the professional plan. The Chrome integration and the iOS keyboard support are both very useful and it catches plenty of mistakes whichhelps my writing come across as more polished.

Cons

The downside is that there's no native MacBook integration. I have to open a separate app to check the spelling and grammar in an email since it doesn't work directly within Apple's OS.

When you're running a business and moving quickly, grammar mistakes are almost guaranteed to slip in. Even while I'm typing this review, Grammarly is catching errors and pointing them out. It helps make sure anything you publish is polished and accurate and although some suggestions can be ignored, it still does a really good job of making sure people reading your emails, website copy, documents or anything else you write don't get distracted by obvious grammar issues.

Cons

It lacks adaptation to your personal writing style or recognizing the corrections you intentionally ignore over and over. In some ways that might be helpful because it keeps you from repeating the same mistakes but I'd still like to see more intelligent learning so it doesn't flag every single thing the same way each time. That said, I've honestly learned more grammar from using this tool than I ever picked up in school.
