It catches spelling mistakes, points them out and suggests the correct replacement words. It also identifies sentences or phrases with grammar issues, fixes them and even reviews the tone of the writing along with other helpful checks.

Cons

I haven't run into any downsides. The product is relatively simple to use.

So much easier to convey my message the way i want with this tool in place and it gives me more confidence that what I write is coming through correctly.

Cons

There are moments when it tries to change technical terms or industry slang into wording it thinks is better and you might have to made the changes again.. other than that its a great tool!

Can become a bit slow at times when working with very large documents.

“handy across gmail and canva”

Pros

Right after installing it, the software was simple to get started with and it follows me across different platforms. I use it with Gmail, Canva and for text writing and it also works well for me in three languages, French, English and Portuguese.

Haven't had any bad experience with it since I mainly use it for work.

At first, I thought there were a few bugs but it actually turned out to be a network issue.

“chrome extension for the win”

Pros

Having it as a Chrome extension is really convenient because I can use it directly inside Google Docs. I also get a weekly recap showing how much I used it, how many errors were corrected and a running history which is helpful to look back on. If I have a week where I write less than usual, they even send a check-in email. Overall, Grammarly has made all of my work much more manageable, from session notes to articles and blog posts.

Cons

At times, the correction suggestions feel a little too aggressive. Just yesterday, it kept flagging a syntax issue that actually wasn't wrong. Even after I tried to ignore that suggestion several times, it continued bringing it up over and over. but overall its great software

“Loved it”

Pros

Whenever I'm working on emails, office tasks, documents or anything else where grammar and spelling really matter, this is the tool I keep coming back to. It helps a lot with my writing and the suggestions it provides are usually very relevant for improving my sentences and making the overall document better.

Cons

I'd still love to see more features included in the free version.

It cuts down the time spent writing and helps the final work look very professional based on what's needed. The plagiarism checker is also really helpful when reviewing assignments.

The pricing feels a little expensive but aside from that, the features are very good. It makes our writing feel more authentic and also helps us pick up new vocabulary.

The collaboration features also fit in really well. Every now and then, it suggests changes that are not really necessary in my write up.. but its subjective and overall it still works very well.

Using it through Chrome fits naturally into my workflow and it works across a wide range of sites, including Gmail. It also does a solid job of cutting out unnecessary words which helps make my sentences shorter, clearer and more precise.

Cons

The MacOS app though, feels sluggish and a bit awkward to use especially because it takes too long to load. Compared with the Chrome extension, the overall experience on MacOS just doesn't feel as polished.

The app really helps with that by giving me reliable grammar, polished wording and a dictionary with advanced vocabulary. That is the part I appreciate most about using it.

I dont appreciate is the style check in the application. Compared with other apps, it feels like it still needs to be updated and improved.

One thing I've noticed is that after every update, it asks me to log in again. It's not a major issue but at times the results also take a little while to load.
