Helpful grammar fixes

Pros

Using Grammarly has been a really positive experience. The biggest benefits are the spelling and grammar checks. It shows a clear breakdown of the errors and mistakes, then gives helpful suggestions on how to correct them.

Cons

One issue I do run into is when I'm typing in text boxes, the Grammarly icon and results pop-up can cover words, phrases or parts of sentences. That makes some text harder to see while writing.

writing is better now

Pros

It helps me throughout most of the day especially when I'm working with multinational teams. It has also made me feel much more confident about my email writing skills.

Cons

There are times when relying on Grammarly changes what I originally wanted to say in a document or email but it's still acceptable overall.

impressed with it

Pros

More than anything else, Grammarly's spell check is the biggest reason I use it. Instead of rereading my essays again and again trying to catch every little mistake, it handles that for me and saves me a lot of time.

Cons

honestly I don't have anything to complain about. I've been happy with everything the app offers.

Impressive AI context awareness

Pros

The way the AI can understand context and proofread text is honestly mind-blowing and its integration with the web and other data sources with very little setup is excellent.

Cons

At times, it does produce a few false positives.

Context-aware writing support

Pros

AI does a really good job of understanding the context of what's being written and helping improve the overall writing style. It also works across a wide variety of platforms, including browsers, text editors, phones and tablets which makes it very convenient to use anywhere.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is better multilingual support. For example, when a foreign word is used inside an English sentence, it would be helpful if there were an option to recognize it instead of flagging it as an error. That would be a valuable update. I've also noticed that some punctuation suggestions from the AI are not always correct.

positive experience

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about Grammarly is how it points out extra words I use out of habit without noticing they're unnecessary. It has helped me revise quite a few letters and emails so they come across much more concise. I even edited this comment and removed two words I didn't need. After applying the suggested changes, it's also helpful that Grammarly tells me whether my message sounds professional, warm or neutral. That matters a lot because I want my communication with Owners to sound fully professional, while I'd rather come across more casual or warm when I'm writing to tenants.

Cons

honestly I don't have anything negative to say about the software. You still have complete control over whether to accept any correction or suggestion. I've passed on a few wording recommendations when they didn't fit my style or the point I was trying to make. In fact, I used most of Grammarly's suggestions while writing this response.

instant feedback

Pros

Getting instant feedback matters a lot to me. I regularly communicate with professionals and as a non-native speaker, that kind of support is especially valuable.

Cons

Something I'd still love to see is a paraphrasing option included as well.

Useful suggestions

Pros

Using it feels almost as simple as copy and paste and it works really well. I don't end up using every suggestion it gives but it's still a really valuable tool overall.

Cons

At times it can be a bit slow although that's something I generally expect with SaaS products.

always-on writing support

Pros

Getting started with Grammarly couldn't be simpler and there's really nothing you need to set up for it to do its job. It just keeps working in the background for me all the time.

Cons

Every now and then, it flags something in my message as an error when it actually isn't. That's only happened to me about twice the whole time I've been using it.

Helpful proofreading companion

editing is easier

Pros

Between plagiarism checks, spelling corrections and overall writing assistance, Grammarly Business has been a big help in my daily work. I tend to make a lot of typos when I write and it consistently catches them and helps me fix them quickly.

Cons

I rely on many of the features they offer and use the platform for a large part of my work but the customer service side has been disappointing because I didn't find the support team very helpful.

Decent experience

Pros

Grammarly has been a huge turning point for me. Back in my school days, writing was never one of my strengths but this tool really helped me change that completely. I've been able to put together impressive reports, CVs and resumes and some of them even helped me get hired right away. It completely transformed the way I communicate in writing and took it to another level. A lot of the frustration I used to have while working is now gone. When it comes to fixing spelling errors, capitalization and grammar, it has made the whole process much easier for me.

Cons

The only downside is that I sometimes work in remote places where internet access is limited and since Grammarly is an online tool, I can't use it offline. That's something I really think should be improved in the future.

my secret weapon daily

Pros

These days, Grammarly is something I genuinely rely on and use every single day. It's actually running for me right now. I don't send anything to print without checking it through Grammarly first. It has helped me prevent some very expensive reprints for my clients by catching issues in both their copy and my own. honestly it makes me feel like a lifesaver sometimes. It's become my secret weapon and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Cons

Really wish it offered is support for more languages. I work with a lot of content in Spanish, Portuguese and French so having better coverage there would be really helpful.

i rely on it

Pros

Grammarly has been extremely dependable for me. It catches things that even strong writers can overlook, myself included. It also does a really good job with vocabulary and sentence structure. Also, it quickly notices repeated words or sentences and offers helpful ways to improve them. Out of all the tools I've tried, this is the most advanced one.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is how it handles proper nouns, possibly by using a dictionary for them. Another limitation is that it only works for the English language. For software this strong, it would be even better if it supported more languages. I'd also like to see the readability statistics improved so they can be stronger than Microsoft's.

Fantastic writing help everywhere

Pros

Using Grammarly has been a really positive experience because I enjoy pretty much all of its features. The auto-correction is especially helpful and it does a very good job of catching grammar mistakes and giving automatic suggestions while I write. The browser extension is also very useful since it keeps helping me wherever I type online and suggests corrections across different websites.

Cons

Haven't come across anything yet that Grammarly needs to improve.
