quiet background writing help

Pros

Right from the start, the installation was quick and hassle-free and it keeps checking in the background without getting in the way. It offers helpful suggestions in a discreet manner, with no annoying pop-ups interrupting your workflow.

Cons

As far as I can tell, it only supports English, unless I'm missing something. Other than that, nothing else really comes to mind. It works with the browser but I haven't seen any integration with a locally installed Office version although that may still be possible.

Good one!

Pros

Grammarly has been a really useful tool for checking spelling, clarity and how engaging my writing is. One thing I especially appreciate is how easily it integrates with Outlook. I mainly rely on the proofreading feature since I do not need plagiarism checks for my business emails though that could definitely be valuable for other people considering the software. Overall, it has helped me keep my writing polished, effective and efficient.

Cons

One frustrating downside with Grammarly is that it signs me out pretty often in email, Word and other places and logging back in can be annoying. Another issue is that sometimes it suggests a writing change and then later recommends switching back to the original wording. I also wish there were an option to fix all mistakes at once instead of having to click through every single suggestion.

best tool

Pros

After using Grammarly for more than 11 months, I'm genuinely impressed with it. The grammar checking feature has helped me write polished, high-quality articles for my websites and the plagiarism checker is also very useful for making sure my content stays original.

Cons

At times, when I'm writing articles in Grammarly and checking grammar, it takes a little while to highlight spelling mistakes. It's not a major issue but I believe Grammarly can improve this over time.

perfect!!

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about Grammarly is its rich word library. The sentence construction, editing support, double-tap synonym choices and suggestion features work really well. It's also helpful that the document formatting stays easy to maintain. Features like the reading score, engagement score and detail analysis have genuinely helped me improve the quality of my content. Overall, it's an excellent tool for checking grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Cons

Grammarly is definitely one of the best tools for checking grammar, text and spelling but I'm a bit disappointed when it comes to the plagiarism checker. I'd really like to see that feature improved further.

clearer writing suggestions

Pros

A feature I really appreciate in this application is the way Grammarly suggests alternative sentences for what I've written. The best part is that those suggestions are usually more concise, clearer and help me express my thoughts and feelings much better in words.

Cons

At times, it doesn't work on certain websites or applications so I'm unable to use Grammarly while writing there.

my go-to writing helper

Pros

Having it around has been a huge help for my daily writing. It catches grammar and punctuation mistakes right away and makes correcting them feel almost effortless. Since I write copy constantly for work, being able to paste a draft into Grammarly and instantly get suggestions is incredibly useful especially when I'm stuck on a sentence and can't quite figure out the right wording. It really feels like having a proofreading partner built into my laptop. The amount of time it saves me is hard to put a price on. If writing is a big part of your job, I'd absolutely recommend getting this program.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about Grammarly. I haven't run into anything I dislike and the subscription has definitely felt worth the cost.

clean interface

Pros

The features are simple and effective and the interface looks clean and user-friendly.

Cons

One thing that really bothers me about Grammarly is that it only works online. I honestly expected an offline version by now that could keep updating regularly. The browser extension is useful but whenever the internet is weak or completely unavailable, Grammarly becomes unusable. Another area where Grammarly needs improvement is translation and writing support for major languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German and maybe even Chinese. Whenever I rely on Google Translate, it still doesn't give me the sentence structure and syntax I actually want.

integrations are good

Pros

Works nicely with email, Google Docs, Microsoft tools and Slack which makes it really convenient to keep everything connected in one workflow.

Cons

It feels very adaptive and the integrations work well overall. It's not completely perfect yet but after watching how much it has improved over the past 3+ years, it's clearly moving in the right direction pretty quickly.

helpful dictionary feature

Pros

Dictionary is the feature I appreciate most. Sometimes I struggle with spelling certain words and it helps a lot by also giving explanations which makes it easier to figure out the exact word I want to use. Out of all the grammar apps I've tried, this is the first one that includes a dictionary to explain words more clearly and help my writing carry the meaning I intend.

Cons

The only issue I have is when I type in my own language. Since it's considered a foreign language, the app doesn't recognize it and changes it to the closest English word instead. Because of that, I usually have to turn it off so I can write properly in my language.

I liked it

Pros

One thing that really helped was how much more polished my marketing writing became. Grammarly Business made my emails to customers and clients sound far more professional by catching grammar issues and letting me double-check everything before sending. It gave my business a more professional image overall. It's an excellent proofreading tool for email marketing and I can see a lot of businesses benefiting from using it.

Cons

Something I'd suggest is adding more tools to the platform, such as integrations or branching options for Facebook and other apps.

dependable tool

Pros

Between grammar fixes and plagiarism checks, this has been the most dependable tool I've used. As a content manager, I often need to put drafts together fast so having Grammarly there as a safety net is incredibly helpful. It's very simple to use and the interface feels clean and adaptive. The plagiarism checker is also a big plus. I rely on it regularly when writing articles because I want to avoid having any of my content flagged.

Cons

Every now and then, a suggestion misses the mark but it's not something that happens often and I understand the software is still learning.

so good

Pros

Using it has been such a convenient part of my writing routine. It pops up inside pretty much any web-based app while I'm typing so it catches spelling and grammar mistakes right then and there. I don't have to open a separate program and copy my text over before sending anything which saves a lot of time. It's already there as you write, guiding you along. Applying the corrections is simple too, just one click and it's done. Another thing I appreciate is that, when you pay attention to the suggestions, you actually start learning from them. Over time, you notice your common mistakes and begin correcting yourself so it feels like more than just an answer tool,it helps you improve.

Cons

Grammarly offers both a free version and a pro version and the paid one clearly gives you more especially with punctuation help. I do wish the free plan included a little extra. That would make more of its useful features available to younger students and adults with limited income. The free version is still a solid starting point but there are moments when you're left to experiment and figure out things like comma placement on your own.

great for everyone

Pros

Working on long 10-20 page reports in my research role has become much more manageable because of how effective this tool is at improving my writing. I honestly wouldn't be able to produce clear, understandable and effective documents without it. Every feature feels useful and correcting mistakes is simple.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about this product. It doesn't come with unnecessary features or distracting alerts, just exactly what's needed.

a lifesaver

Pros

Grammarly Business has been a huge help for our organization. I make plenty of mistakes when writing emails and it catches them immediately with the suggested correction. Since our team started using Grammarly, there have been far fewer errors in our communication. It's simple for everyone to work with and once the initial setup is done, there's really nothing else you need to manage. Very convenient overall.

Cons

It's worth setting aside time for the Grammarly Business onboarding process. Like any other platform, you need to learn how it works at the beginning.

daily writing boost

Pros

At first, I assumed Grammarly was mainly for professional writers but it really proves its value in everyday use. I keep the Chrome extension installed and rely on Grammarly whenever I write anything even for this review. It removes a lot of the hassle from writing because the highlights and one-click corrections save me from rereading everything multiple times before I send it. Also, it helps me catch mistakes in my content much faster.

Cons

Every now and then, the Grammarly icon gets covered or can't be clicked because of the way certain websites are designed. It would be even better if the edit option could also be accessed through a right-click menu.

so convenient

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about Grammarly is how accessible it is. I can use it across a wide range of platforms, including Microsoft Office, Windows, macOS android and iOS, among others.

Cons

Now and then, it suggests grammar corrections that are not quite accurate depending on the context or the style of writing. That is fairly understandable since Grammarly is still an automated tool.
