Pros

I rely on the proofreading tools quite a bit in this software and although I've noticed a few misinterpretations here and there, overall the software works really well.

so good

Pros

As a student, Grammarly has been really helpful for my schoolwork and papers. It's very simple to use since I can just copy and paste text into the plagiarism checker and it quickly does its job. It also catches grammar mistakes and spelling errors in what I write. There's really no stress in using it because the app is very user-friendly and even someone with little experience could figure it out without trouble.

Cons

I really don't have any trouble using Grammarly and it's nice that there's a free version available. The downside is that with the plagiarism checker, it doesn't show which exact sentence is plagiarized unless you pay for a subscription. Also some of Grammarly's other features are also locked behind payment so you can't access everything unless you upgrade.

what i needed

Pros

Grammarly's strongest features are its spell checker and the way it follows the context of what I'm writing. It's also simple to navigate which makes it suitable for a wide range of users.

Cons

Something that needs improvement is support beyond standard English or general language rules. For example, when I use it to check scientific writing, it sometimes marks scientifically correct terms or phrasing as grammatical errors.

clean interface

Pros

One thing I really enjoy about Grammarly Business is how it suggests better word choices to improve communication with others and it's even more useful because it works inside both Microsoft Office and Chrome. It helps rework sentences so they're easier to understand the service is simple to use and the interface feels very adaptive. It's an excellent tool for getting started on a book, a letter or even an email.

Cons

Don't have any complaints about Grammarly. I use it a lot and every feature has been helpful for me.

easy to use

Pros

Getting grammar corrections in real time is easily one of the best parts of Grammarly. Instead of typing everything first and then hitting a separate spelling and grammar check, it points out mistakes the moment they happen. It goes beyond just marking errors too since it gives explanations that help you understand what went wrong so you can actually learn and improve. The interface is also simple which makes the whole program very user-friendly.

Cons

I do wish it supported more languages beyond English. It would also be nice if there were a free trial for the plagiarism checker so users could see how valuable that feature really is.

a tool i like

Pros

Editing text with this software has been really helpful especially for grammar and spelling. It points out the incorrect words and also suggests how to correct them which makes fixing mistakes much easier.

Cons

A few features are locked unless you upgrade which can be limiting. There are also times when the suggested fix for an error in the text is not completely clear so you may still be unsure how to correct it.

recommended!!

Pros

Using Grammarly Business makes it simple to keep correspondence and wording across different applications grammatically correct and that really adds a more professional touch.

Cons

It feels a little overpriced for the value it offers especially since there are cheaper alternatives available. It also requires an internet connection to work.

fast feedback

Pros

Writing important emails has become much better because our vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar get corrected almost instantly as we type. The tone suggestion feature has been a real game changer too, helping us make emails more persuasive and even improve conversions. Also, the quick reply option is really useful for answering the same questions repeatedly without having to rewrite the same response every time.

Cons

I haven't run into many issues with Grammarly overall but it can get frustrating when writing in languages other than English. It often marks entire paragraphs in red as if everything is incorrect which is especially annoying on mobile. If we tap a flagged word, it sometimes tries to replace it with something Grammarly thinks is right and that can make editing the actual word much more difficult.

smart tool

Pros

As a blogger, Grammarly feels like a complete package to me. The spelling checker helps me catch those silly mistakes that usually slip in without notice. Also, the synonym feature lets me fine-tune the tone of my blogs and make them more engaging to read. For example, I can now choose a word like "serene" instead of "peace," which adds more variety and style to my writing.

Cons

One issue though, is that the paraphrasing feature can sometimes alter the meaning of the topic entirely. To be more precise, it even replaces universal scientific terms with awkward alternatives, like changing "global warming" to "world heating." Edits like that feel unnecessary and can make the content sound inaccurate.

reliable !!

Pros

One of the biggest benefits for me is the grammar and spelling guidance. It really helps me communicate more clearly and effectively. Grammarly feels like it has me covered in every area and the suggestions keep me focused and on topic. The writing feedback is definitely one of its strongest features.

Cons

At this point, I honestly can't think of any downsides.

excellent

Pros

Since Grammarly is now required at my company, it has become a regular part of my workflow. It catches nearly all writing-related mistakes and it's simple to use while fitting in nicely with both the Office suite and Chrome.

Cons

It's close to perfect overall. The only thing that could be improved is how aggressively it tries to remove passive voice.

incredible

Pros

Something I really appreciate is how much you can do with the free version. It works especially well for students. It's also available in pretty much every format, whether that's the Grammarly extension, web version, desktop app, mobile app or MS Office integration. When I use the Chrome extension, I can double-click words to check synonyms and meanings which is really useful while writing. The customer support is excellent too. Grammarly is usually quick to respond and ready to help users as soon as possible. Also, it offers real-time checking, content management and helpful suggestions to correct word usage in the right places.

Cons

A bit expensive. Grammarly also doesn't guarantee complete accuracy all the time. Occasionally, it misses obvious mistakes even after they have been corrected. The MS Office version also has some trouble with plagiarism detection so I have to switch to the web version whenever I want to use that feature.

my experience was great

Pros

Grammarly has been a regular part of my routine for years and around two years ago I switched over to Grammarly Business. I use it every single workday because writing is a big part of my job. I already consider myself a fairly strong writer and speller but I'm still human and sometimes need another set of eyes. That's where Grammarly really helps. It does more than catch spelling mistakes,it also reviews tone, flow and offers suggestions that make my writing clearer. The recommendations are usually very accurate so I tend to follow them. It's actually kind of funny that Grammarly even suggested a change while I was typing this paragraph and I went ahead and accepted it.

Cons

Since I rely on Grammarly so much, it's honestly tough to come up with much to criticize. The only issue I run into at times is that it points out something as incorrect without always explaining how to fix it. I'd prefer it to offer a suggestion every single time it flags something in my writing.

fantastic for daily writing

Pros

Checking daily emails and other writing with this app has been really helpful. It catches punctuation issues, spelling mistakes and even suggests better word choices and it still does a lot even on the free version. It's very effective and makes writing more productive.

Cons

I honestly haven't run into any downsides. I'd highly recommend this app.

works smoothly

Pros

Having this tool feels like getting a second set of eyes on my writing before I send anything out to coworkers or clients and that added confidence is something I really appreciate.

Cons

Wish it handled context better. It doesn't fully match what you get from having another person review your writing especially when context clues matter. That's why the manual review option is still really useful since it lets me go through everything one more time before accepting Grammarly's suggestions.

user-friendly

Pros

Using it in a day-to-day office environment feels very simple and the platform is overall quite user friendly. It fits naturally into everyday work and doesn't take much effort to use.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is how stiff it can be about proper English. I've run into cases where it changes a sentence that is already correct and makes sense, just because it doesn't match a very formal writing style. Not everything written needs to be that formal.

helpful error highlights

Pros

So simple to use plus it catches common errors, flags all sorts of issues and makes the corrections simple to handle.

Cons

That said, you still need a decent grasp of English to use it well because it can sometimes mark things incorrectly. Since it's a machine working from a human-built database, it does make some silly mistakes so every suggestion needs to be checked carefully. If you accept everything automatically, your document can actually end up worse than when you started.
