clean interface

Pros

The part I appreciate most is the simple and user-friendly interface.

Cons

What I like least about this software is that its word alternative suggestions are quite poor.

easy to use

Pros

Compared with Microsoft Word's built-in spelling and grammar checker, Grammarly is far more useful and reasonably priced. I use both the free and paid versions every day and they make a noticeable difference in how I write. In fact, I'm even relying on it while typing this review. It helps with much more than just grammar and spelling too,it catches things like word choice, formatting, dashes, tone, flow and plenty more. For anyone who never really developed strong writing skills, this kind of tool would be incredibly valuable. My writing gets clearer as I work in real time and it has also helped me recognize subtle passive voice issues on my own later. The feature I use most is the flexibility to either write through the browser extension or paste text straight into Grammarly's interface.

Cons

Once in a while, the suggestions are not completely reliable when I'm working on subject-specific writing. The browser extension also fails to function on some websites so I have to draft the text inside Grammarly first and then copy and paste it back over. Other than those occasional issues, I don't have much to complain about.

grammar check anywhere

Pros

After spending hours looking at the same report, this tool really helps catch mistakes I would normally miss. The grammar and spelling checks are much better than the built-in checker in Word or PowerPoint and it picks up a lot of errors quickly. It's especially useful because it integrates directly with Word and PPT so grammar issues are highlighted right away instead of making you run a separate spellcheck like you usually have to in those programs.

Cons

The built-in AI could definitely be smarter. There are times when the edit suggestions just don't make much sense.

user friendly

Pros

Something that really helps is how it catches spelling errors in written work and offers a suggestion to confirm whether the word is correct or if it should be rephrased. The free version is also quite good for anyone who can't manage the monthly subscription especially since it's available as a lifetime offer.

Cons

I do wish the free version included more features. It would also be better if the premium pricing were lowered so it could be affordable for more people.

so reliable

Pros

There are plenty of things to appreciate in this software but the biggest advantage for me is Grammarly's grammar correction and mistake alert features. They make writing in English much more comfortable and take away a lot of the stress that can come with it. The more complex the text gets, the more valuable the program becomes which is honestly impressive.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is better integration with Word because that would make it much more convenient to catch mistakes while I'm writing at the same time.

I liked it

Pros

Right from the start, Grammarly feels adaptive and incredibly fast. I can use it across all kinds of writing, whether I'm working on a long guide or just sending a quick email to a teammate. One thing I really enjoy is how well it integrates with practically every copywriting tool I use.

Cons

What would make it even better is support for more languages. It's already an excellent tool but that addition would make it even more useful.

my writing buddy

Pros

It catches every grammar mistake and makes the writing much clearer grammatically. The software is very user-friendly, simple to learn and comfortable to use. It can also be used across different apps which makes it even more useful.

Cons

The prediction feature would be a valuable addition. It should respond more accurately to the full letter or complete document context. It is especially helpful for people who are learning English.

always-on writing support

Pros

One of the best things about Grammarly is that once you install it on your computer, it just works in the background without needing any attention. It automatically checks everything you write, whether you are online, working in a Word document, putting together a PowerPoint presentation or anything similar.

Cons

I have been using Grammarly for more than two years and up to this point, I still have not come across anything about it that I dislike.

Loved it

Pros

Across browsers and document editors, Grammarly does a solid job of catching spelling and punctuation issues while also suggesting better ways to phrase sentences and you still get the final say on every change. You can set how it reads your writing too, whether you want it to sound more academic or more informal. It's very simple to use and really helps you come across more polished. Grammarly Business is especially valuable for teams. If your team writes regular copy for websites, blogs social media posts and similar content, it's extremely helpful for removing both major and minor mistakes before anything goes live. Another thing I appreciate is that it explains why a sentence should be improved and supports American, British, Canadian and Australian English.

Cons

Biggest downside is that Grammarly Premium/Business feels fairly expensive especially since some useful features are only available in the paid version. The pricing could definitely be more reasonable. Accuracy is also not perfect because it's still not the same as having a human review your writing. From time to time, it suggests the wrong word, punctuation mark or other small corrections that don't quite fit.

built-in proofreader i love

Pros

There's a lot to appreciate about getting more done in less time when Grammarly checks spelling and grammar on everything before it's shared. It really feels like having a proofreader built right in and I absolutely love that. At first, I did question a few of the suggestions but those doubts were cleared up pretty quickly. Grammarly definitely gets my vote.

Cons

Honestly I don't really have any complaints. Like I mentioned in the pros, I was unsure about some of the suggestions at the beginning but those concerns have all been resolved. At this point, Grammarly is the best proofreading software I've used.

clear writing across apps

Pros

Using it feels very simple and the integration with Google Chrome and Microsoft Office apps is really helpful. Whenever I'm working on a blog, email or documentation, it helps me produce paragraphs that are clear, engaging, professional and easy to read.

Cons

One thing it's still missing is a paraphrasing feature. I'd really like to see that added so it can rewrite paragraphs in a better way especially for people who aren't native English speakers.

all-in-one !!

Pros

Having it cover grammar errors, spelling mistakes and plagiarism checks in one place is the biggest advantage for me. It gives me much more confidence that my writing won't come across as careless or messy.

Cons

As a content writer, the plagiarism checker is the one feature I'd be least likely to recommend. It works but it takes a bit longer than I'd expect when checking for plagiarism.

helpful proofreading features

Pros

Grammarly comes with a lot of useful features that I rely on especially for proofreading, punctuation and similar writing checks.

Cons

The only thing I don't really care for is that it seems to support only the American spelling format.

accurate!

Pros

Working on emails and blog posts all the time makes this tool incredibly helpful. The fact that there's a free version is a big plus. It does an excellent job improving spelling, grammar and overall writing style and it feels more accurate than other spell checkers I've used. I also really appreciate how easily it integrates with Google Chrome.

Cons

One downside is that there's no free trial for the premium features and the paid version is quite expensive.

Pros

Right away, the interface feels very clear and simple to understand without much effort and the boost it gives to teams working together is really impressive. It's a very solid tool for creating projects on all kinds of subjects and it brings something fresh and valuable into the office.

Cons

Price is the only con.. it's a very good piece of software but it does feel a little overpriced. If it were a bit more affordable, it would be just about perfect.

excellent for writers and seo

Pros

As someone who handles both content writing and SEO, Grammarly Business has been one of the best tools I've used for both kinds of work. I regularly rely on it when creating content copies as well as writing meta titles and meta descriptions for clients. I've been using it for the past two years and it has consistently performed really well. From my side, Grammarly definitely deserves a big thumbs up.

Cons

The only downside is that it needs an internet connection to work and the pricing is also on the higher side.

my go to

Pros

Interface is simple and it does a good job catching spelling mistakes. The rewording suggestions are usually useful too which makes it practical for everyday writing. Overall, it's simple to use and doesn't take much time to get comfortable with.

Cons

It still isn't a substitute for human proofreading especially when something needs a more careful review. It also misses certain errors from time to time and it doesn't integrate very well with every program.

excellent tool

Pros

When it comes to a user-friendly grammar checker, plagiarism checker and proofreading tool, this is easily the best software I've come across across different platforms. It performs especially well on Windows and the free version of Grammarly is more than enough for everyday use.

Cons

The paid version can feel a little pricey if you don't use it very often. It also struggles on slow internet connections and doesn't work offline at all.

one of the best

Pros

Spell check and grammar suggestions have been really helpful for me especially since English is not my first language. It also integrates nicely with the office app we use which makes it convenient to work with.

Cons

On larger documents, it can slow things down at times and its performance depends on having a stable internet connection.
