spell and style confidence boost

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about this software is how simple it makes spelling and style feel. No matter your level of education, it helps you improve and gives you the confidence to become much better.

Cons

The only small downside was customer service when I needed assistance.

decent free grammar checker

Pros

Having it available as a free web-based tool is a big plus especially for catching spelling mistakes and grammar issues quickly. The fact that the basic version is completely free makes it an excellent option.

Cons

Now and then, it suggests words that don't really match the intended meaning and it can struggle with certain types of sentence structures.

chrome extension catches everything

Pros

Honestly I absolutely love this product. The Chrome extension is fantastic because it keeps an eye on everything you write online. Spelling has never been my strong point and this has saved me more than once. I'm actually using Grammarly right now while typing this review.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say about it. Some people might assume the built-in spell checker on their computer does the same job but that's not true at all. This goes far beyond basic spelling mistakes and also helps improve sentence structure.

error-free writing

Pros

It's very user-friendly and helps me make sure my written communication looks professional and free of mistakes. Also, it also works as a helpful learning tool.

Cons

Don't have any complaints about it. I've even recommended Grammarly to my son for college especially when he's writing papers and sending emails.

spelling help across devices

Pros

Something I really appreciate about this app is how well it corrects spelling and the synonym suggestions with meanings are also very useful. Most of its features are practical and the fact that it's available on web, desktop and mobile makes it even more convenient. It genuinely helps a lot with office work.

Cons

The app is extremely helpful overall but the price feels high for students. At times, it can still be difficult to pick the best word for a sentence. It would also be much more useful if it included an Apple Mail interface.

powerful writing support

Pros

Right away, it stood out to me because it offers a wide range of tools that help with both grammar and spelling. It has been really useful whether I'm working on school essays or hand ling any other kind of writing. On top of fixing spelling mistakes, it also gives helpful suggestions to improve the overall quality of my work, like better word choices, stronger sentence structure and more accurate punctuation.

Cons

Grammarly is a cloud-based grammar and proofreading tool that helps you write proper English but its biggest downside is that it relies on an internet connection to work which can be inconvenient for some people. I've also never had reliable success with its integration into Microsoft Office products and the plagiarism checker takes noticeably longer than similar tools I've used.

tone checks improve communication

Pros

A feature my team and I keep getting value from is the tone and style check. Sometimes all it takes is that quick pause for me to revisit a message, add a little extra warmth or adjust the punctuation so the point comes across the way I actually intended.

Cons

The monthly cost was a little hard to defend to leadership since it feels more like a soft-value expense but we've still noticed a clear improvement in both internal and external communication, as well as in our presentations.

reliable proposal writing companion

Pros

As an engineer, I have to prepare project proposals every day and this tool consistently helps me proofread them and catch grammar and spelling errors. It also adapts well to my writing style which makes the final result feel natural and polished.

Cons

I honestly haven't come across anything negative about it. If anything, it's especially helpful for beginners who want to write in a more professional way.

Boosts my productivity

Pros

Being able to use it without any hassle has been a huge relief and I no longer need to wait for someone else to proofread and spell-check my work before I hit publish. Of course, if I use the wrong word and it still fits the sentence, Grammarly may not catch it but most of the time it helps me publish without worrying about major mistakes. It has honestly been life changing.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that it behaves differently on my laptop than it does on my desktop. I'm not sure why that happens and I haven't looked into the reason yet.

Writing insights

Pros

Even on the free trial, Grammarly has been really useful for proofreading my sentences and wording. One thing I enjoy most, beyond the corrections, is that it shows how my message or email might come across to the reader. It also gives monthly stats about what features and insights you've unlocked which adds extra value and makes the experience more interesting.

Cons

I'd still like to see more guidance around the proper use of punctuation although that may simply be because I'm only using the free version.

Writing made easy

Pros

Using the platform and its add-on has been a really positive experience. They're simple to use and I can quickly review my sentence structure and fix any mistakes before sending emails or submitting documents. It's genuinely been a very useful platform for me.

Cons

When it comes to the free features, I'd say the platform has done quite well.

grammar help

Pros

Having the Google browser extension makes a big difference because I can check my grammar online across social media, emails and other sites as I write. It also works really well for team collaboration since it cuts down on the back-and -forth around corrections and edits. The tool is simple to use and it's even catching my grammar mistakes while I'm typing right now ,)

Cons

At this point, I honestly don't have any complaints. I use it every day for emails, letters, reports and even personal messages.

good one!

Pros

Right from the start, Grammarly feels like one of the best spell-checking tools available and it fits neatly into most writing platforms like Word, Outlook and even through a browser extension for heavy Gmail use. The punctuation corrections and writing suggestions are genuinely useful for making communication sound more polished especially in client-facing jobs where professionalism matters a lot. It does a really solid job there and holds up well across different content and document tools, including Google Docs, Outlook, Gmail and other Microsoft applications.

Cons

What would make it even better is the ability to rephrase or rewrite full paragraphs. That would be a huge upgrade. It also struggles quite a bit when checking translated or non-English content, where there are still noticeable gaps. Stronger translation-to-English support would likely improve that area a lot.

incredible results

Pros

The content-based text analytics are really useful especially with the grammar checks, spellcheck and engagement stats included.

Cons

A downside is that the suggestions don't always understand the context of a sentence especially when the sentences are longer.

Using it has really helped with rewriting and restructuring sentences. It makes my writing clearer, simpler and more suitable for what I need.

i liked it

Pros

One thing that's been really useful is how Grammarly proofreads my writing and helps adjust the tone based on who I'm writing to. A message to a client needs a different style than something meant for a government agency and it does a good job helping me shape my writing to match the situation. It has definitely helped me improve my writing style for different needs.

Cons

At this point, Grammarly still doesn't work across every platform.

quite dependable

Pros

Writing is a big part of my day and Grammarly Business has been fantastic across everything from emails to grant applications and plenty more. One feature I really appreciate is the tone check on emails since it helps me understand how my message might come across to the person receiving it.

Cons

I honestly can't think of any major features that Grammarly is lacking. The only minor issue I've run into is that the extensions occasionally crash and need a restart but it's not enough to make me want to stop using it.

lifesaver!!

Pros

Having an instant proofreader available all the time feels incredibly helpful. I didn't realize how often I'd end up relying on it until I started using it.

Cons

Sometimes I intentionally phrase something a certain way and Grammarly suggests changing it but since it's very simple to turn the program on or off, it's not really an issue at all.
