Pros

Being able to set up daily, weekly or monthly summaries and use my own domains is a huge plus. It works well for both personal and work needs especially when industry newsletters start piling up. Bundling them into a weekly summary makes it much easier to stay focused during the week while still keeping the rest of the team informed.

Cons

There's nothing I really dislike about it but it would be nice to have a built-in "newsletter" feature for sending those summaries to multiple inboxes. At the moment, I handle that part through my email service.

Really like how it tackles a real everyday problem by cutting down inbox clutter. It's a clever solution that helps reduce distractions without making you miss the quirky emails and newsletters you still want to read. The interface is thoughtfully designed, the options are clear and everything feels well planned. The newer feature that lets you create disposable or temporary email addresses and forward them to your main inbox is the cherry on top. Also, the pricing is very affordable and the overall usability puts it right at the top.

Before the temporary email feature was added, I had to rely on two separate tools (Burner Mail and Paced Email) to properly handle my newsletter subscriptions and that setup was pretty frustrating. Now that this feature is included, it has become the only tool I need for the job.

These days, our email addresses end up attached to countless websites and services before we even realize it. In no time, the inbox starts filling up with notifications, newsletters, promotions and every kind of message competing for attention, trying to sell something or pull us back into a platform. That's exactly where it really proves its value. It helps bring order to all that noise by letting us choose when and how we want to receive that information. There honestly isn't enough room here to mention every benefit so my advice is simply to give it a try. Also, the support from the technical team and developer has been outstanding.

Only thing I really miss is translation into languages other than English although I understand that it's already on the roadmap.

Right away, it felt refreshingly simple. It's such a carefully designed app that whenever something related to the tool comes to mind, I check it and it's already there. I appreciate that it wasn't built just to claim it has the most features or to be the flashiest option, it was clearly made to be useful and it absolutely delivers on that.

Honestly it's difficult to come up with any real downsides. If I had to mention one thing, I'd say I'd love to see the automations become a bit more advanced and complex.

If you're not using a custom domain, there aren't many options for changing email addresses.

Being able to create a custom email address for each signup is really useful especially since it lets me see how much spam each one starts sending. I also appreciate how quickly I can delete an address when I no longer want it active.

I haven't spoken with the developer about this yet but I'd really like an option to have emails forwarded straight to my primary inbox, more like a disposable email service. It would also help a lot if there were an app for checking and managing my addresses more conveniently.

I originally bought it just to reduce the amount of junk mail I was getting but it has ended up being useful for other things too. I needed an email address for a COVID test and first used my Gmail address but it didn't work. After switching to my paced address, I got my COVID test results in under a minute.

The only downside has been how long it takes to delete older emails although it's possible I may not be doing it the right way.

Even with a simple process, I still didn't get my domains set up for email use. I also ran into a few glitches where the panel showed one email address while another one appeared elsewhere.

Took very little effort to set it all up and I noticed an immediate difference in how many messages were piling up in my inbox. I used to sign up for newsletters, lead magnets and similar things with my personal email which turned into a flood of daily messages. Now I can use an address from here instead and choose whether I want everything bundled into a daily or weekly digest. It's a much better setup than what I was doing before and it's already cutting out a lot of wasted time.

At this point, I can forward all my newsletters to Paced and keep my inbox much cleaner. I'll just set aside the weekend to read through the digest.
