“they listened and delivered”
Pros
After being tied to an older version for quite a while, mostly because I relied on the Minimize to Tray plugin on Windows and plugin support had been removed, I was hesitant to move on. Then, while looking through their website, I came across the feature request form and figured I might as well ask for that feature in the newer versions. Turns out they actually listened and now it's there.
Cons
I really can't think of any downsides. I'm really happy with it.

“Clean UI”
Pros
The UI has a clean design and it gives quick access to the most important sections like accounts, menus and other essentials. The focus pane is also a really smart feature.
Cons
An exit-to-tray option is missing, it helps if it keeps running in the background.

“Full inbox control”
Pros
Managing 35 inboxes is no small job yet this app handles it incredibly well. And I really do mean 35. I've tested just about every email client and web app out there over the years and I still keep trying new ones when they appear but Postbox has remained my top choice on my Mac for the past seven years. It's dependable, looks fantastic in dark mode and offers excellent filters along with plenty of advanced capabilities for users who prefer local email management instead of something like the Gmail web interface. The search is outstanding, both within individual inboxes and across everything globally. Tagging is also very useful especially with automation through filters and the app is genuinely smart. If you mention an attachment and forget to include it, it warns you before sending which is such a thoughtful feature. There's also a compose timer and one of my favorite features is the attachments view that shows every attachment by inbox which feels pretty unique. The layout works really well for me and is configurable in all the right ways. Preferences are organized nicely and give you plenty of options. I could honestly keep listing things but it's better to just try it yourself.
Cons
Part of the current version, 7.0.25, still throws me off a bit, the tabs in the interface that let multiple inboxes or folders stay open at once. I don't always understand when or why they get created automatically. Another annoyance is the From address field. It does show all of the email addresses tied to my accounts which is expected but the list feels random and unsorted. That may not matter much if you only have a couple of addresses but when you've got 35 to choose from like I do, finding the right one while composing can be frustrating. Even so, these are fairly minor issues and definitely not deal-breakers. I'd still absolutely recommend the app.

“Works well across devices”
Pros
Right from installation, the software felt clean and lightweight and it was simple to get running on both my Mac and Windows systems with very few problems. The theme options are a nice touch and being able to arrange account groups, folders and similar items on the fly is really convenient. I still have plenty of features left to try but the part I appreciate most is how stable the software has been overall.
Cons
Something that really needs to be standard is the ability to export existing email accounts, whether they are POP or IMAP. I manage more than 20 email accounts and when I switch from one computer to another, not being able to just click and export all my current settings becomes a tiring process. Another reasonable expectation is that users with a valid license should at least get tech support at no extra cost instead of being charged for every request.

“reliable and constantly improving”
Pros
It's a dependable, stable software that runs fast and keeps getting updated with ongoing improvements.
Cons
If I ever had an urgent question about Postbox, I'd really want them to add a chat box on their website so issues could be handled right away.

“fantastic themes and html control”
Pros
Plenty of useful themes and templates are included and the HTML source editing gives really solid control when working on emails.
Cons
A missing piece is support for Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) which would make it more complete.

“Feature-packed email workflow”
Pros
Love how its packed with functionality, including a lot of features that remind me of the great Eudora email software. It makes handling email much more efficient thanks to simple, dependable mail filters and the search tool works exceptionally well.
Cons
I still struggle with figuring out which emails I need to return to and work on later.

“Simple and reliable outlook feel”
Pros
It keeps things simple, feels a lot like the old Outlook and has been very reliable.
Cons
The only issue I've had is occasionally forgetting where to find my license when setting it up on a new computer although that does seem to have improved now.

“Keeps me organized”
Pros
Juggling multiple email addresses became necessary for me because of my role as a pastor, my personal correspondence, my writing goals and even continuing my studies. It started to feel like too much until I came across a provider that let me manage all of my email accounts in one place. Before this, I was using another service but it became unreliable and didn't always let me access my inboxes which pushed me into the difficult search for something similar.
Cons
Coming from an old-school mindset, I struggled when I ran into a registration issue because it was hard to get someone to respond. After working for many years in transportation, customer service social services and the church, I really value being able to reach a real person who will listen and help. That part was frustrating but staying persistent eventually paid off and I did get the support I needed. Given the unusual and unpredictable times we are living in, I also have to keep that in perspective. In the end, I got the help I needed.

“best of gmail and outlook”
Pros
After searching for something with Gmail's convenience and Outlook's polished, professional look, without all of Outlook's little frustrations, Postbox turned out to be an excellent find. It works well for everyday casual emailing yet it also includes a lot of thoughtfully designed power-user features that make it stand out as the best email app I've used. There are quite a few solid alternatives available but Postbox pulls together the strongest features from other platforms and adds its own unique touches, like the focus pane which becomes more and more valuable the longer I use it. The onboarding tutorial videos are also incredibly helpful for quickly understanding how everything works and setting up the features in a way that fits the user best.
Cons
A few of the keyboard shortcuts don't feel especially user friendly although I'm gradually getting used to them.

“packed with thoughtful features”
Pros
Right away, this had every feature I was looking for, plus a bunch I didn't even realize I'd end up using all the time. Things like instant image resizing, being able to view and edit HTML code on the spot, read receipts and quickly switching views to see all attachments or images in a folder in chronological order have been incredibly useful. Since I work in email marketing, the HTML editing is especially valuable. It's also nice not having to spend 10 minutes hunting down a single PDF anymore.
Cons
Only real limitation I've run into is that the theme isn't very customizable although the built-in themes are already quite good. It also takes a bit of time to tailor everything else to your preferences, mostly because there are so many options to go through. Still, that's not really a bad thing since it means you can fine-tune it to fit exactly how you want to work.

“I enjoy the all-in-one views”
Pros
Everything looks polished and works really well. The customizable views are a big plus and it does a nice job of pulling all the information together in one place. Most of it feels user friendly once you get going.
Cons
Few features still seem to be missing, like a notification icon in the Windows taskbar. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

“Very reliable!”
Pros
Compared with other mail clients I've used, this one stays really unobtrusive, runs much faster and looks a lot nicer too. I have 8 accounts connected and it consistently handles everything without issues. One thing that really matters to me is the large alert when an email fails to send. Other clients like Windows Mail and Mailbird barely make that noticeable and I sometimes wouldn't realize it until hours later. Postbox makes it obvious which is a huge plus. The pricing is also very reasonable.
Cons
The only part I still can't figure out or maybe just haven't located, is why signatures can't be inserted into emails automatically. I forget to add them pretty often. Also, for some reason, I'm unable to delete emails from a Microsoft Office email account.

“10/10 experience”
Pros
After using email clients every day since the Netscape era in the 90s, this one stands out to me as the best and most feature-packed option available right now. I've tested and worked with plenty of email programs over the years and this is the one I keep coming back to. The "Responses" feature is especially useful since it lets you insert saved email snippets and I rely on it dozens of times each week to make outgoing messages much faster and simpler. If you've been going back and forth over which email client to choose, this could save you a lot of time because I went through that same long decision process myself. I've been using this client for about four years now and I'm extremely pleased with it.
Cons
One limitation I've run into is that I still use an older version on one machine because I keep an older Mac OS for some costly design software and support is only offered online for the latest version. That said, on another computer where I do have the current release installed, the online support has been very responsive.

“so convenient to use”
Pros
Mail access and sending are incredibly quick. The search and filing tools are excellent as well and there are still plenty of features I haven't even tapped into yet. It has also been completely stable for me, with no crashes at all so far.
Cons
Honestly nothing stands out as a real downside. Sure, it would be nice if it were free but like most things, you get what you pay for.

“five stars”
Pros
I was pretty hesitant about connecting my Gmail accounts to Postbox at first but within just a few minutes I felt completely comfortable using it. It's exactly what I'd been looking for and it's going to save me a lot of time.
Cons
There's a lot of powerful functionality packed into it so it may take a while to learn everything though that's not really a downside.

“Filters are amazing”
Pros
There's a lot to appreciate in how well everything can be organized here. It offers plenty of options for moving things around, along with useful filters and other ways to keep everything in order. From what I've seen, it looks like it should work quite well.
Cons
If there was an icon in the top menu for marking emails as read or unread, that would be great because I haven't come across that yet. Another issue is that it sometimes seems to lose emails from folders and then it takes a while to download them again.

“well-designed and affordable”
Pros
Clean layout thoughtful design and a well-organized setup make it pleasant to use and the price is very reasonable too.
Cons
Personal technical support is not included and requires extra payment, this is something i dont like. For professional software, full tech support really should be available for free.
